Great boat shoe! My third pair, previous two lasted a couple tough years with lots of ocean and lake water exposure. Insole wears out long before the shoe itself. They are cool and comfortable with or without socks.My only complaint is that every pair has one or both tongues that fall off to the outside.

These are the first Top-Siders I've ever owned. I was skeptical at first, but after wearing them for a few days, I really like them. Comfortable and classic, these shoes are perfect for casual days. They are quickly becoming my go to shoe for the spring. I look at my shoes in the closet and I say to myself, "Why not put the Sperry's on"? So I do, and I roll. Also, I purchased the Top-Siders from Zappos because someone from created a pirate video about the details of the shoe. Hilarious!

I ordered these shoes for my husband. He has never worn this type of shoe. He has always been a "boot guy" or tennis shoes for casual. He absolutely loves them and I am ordering another pair in a different color for Father's Day!!! And the best part is I can get them in one day!!!!

These shoes look great - they are not that comfortable. Grip well on the boat but like a said run narrow. I don't think I will wear them much not that comfortable. Had to take them off after a few hours may never put them back on.

I have a fairly wide foot, a solid E. I ordered the wide size, which was an E, and the shoe was a little tight, but not nearly as tight as other shoes that don’t offer widths. Since I do have a wide foot I’m used to shoes being too tight, but the Sperry Billfish shoes quickly became very, very comfortable. I’ve had the shoes a couple of weeks and as long as they make these shoes, I’ll keep buying them. For guys that have wide feet and trouble buying shoes that are wide enough, these are a good buy. I’d rate the width of my pair as a fairly tight E size. I wear these everywhere. They look great and feel great, too.

These are great and available in large sizes. They seem to run a little big; we had to exchange them for a smaller size. Zappos return policy is the best and helped to make our exchange a pleasure; we received the new size the very next day. The best customer service I have ever encountered!

Sperry\'s are my go to shoes in the summer when I can\'t wear sandals and my go to in the winter when I don\'t want to wear socks. I\'m on my second pair of Sperry\'s. I wore my AO\'s until they rotted. Now I have had these for 2 years and they are on their second insole. You cannot go wrong with a pair of Sperry\'s.

I am 56, almost 57, and this is flat out the best shoe I have ever owned. I've had a pair that I've worn every day for 18 months. I just pulled out the new spare pair, because my wife tells me that the old pair is now a "day shoe" or a "yard shoe". Okay, I can live with that, but only because I have a new pair to wear when I'm with her. I'll buy another new pair in a week or so to put in the closet. It's true to fit, both length and width and has a great arch support for a deck shoe. I sure hope they never stop making these things!

Sperry Billfish Boat Shoe: This was my first purchase of this model. I have always worn the Sperry Authentic. These shoes are great. I seem to have trouble with my large toes in both feet rubbing the inside of most shoes that I purchase. These fit perfectly. Being a Florida native and beach person. The Billfish is a great buy.\r\nZappos gives unequalled service: friendly, accomodating, and the overnight shipping is incredible.

very comfortable for a boat shoe. Lacing makes adjustment simple. Break in did cost me most of the skin off of one heel but after that the shoes have been comfortable and easy to wear. Though they have more cushion & arch support than most boat shoes, that support & cushion is still minimal.

I have been wearing Sperry Billfish shoes for almost 30 years and recently bought my fourth pair. These will have to be returned. The medium fit is more narrow than previous pairs marked the same size. The firm/hard arch support digs like a ridge into the sole of my feet. Will try a wide version before giving up but that is not the only problem with these shoes. The thick leather insole in the old shoes that used to mold to your feet has been changed to thin leather lining stitched to a rubbery insole. The edge of the rubber came with a fold that digs into the edge of my heel. The finish on leather outer seems more superficial, less durable.

I bought these for my sons who have wide feet. The wide was fine for one but 3xw was cut very narrow. If you have an extra wide foot you better go with a different shoe. Drew or Rockports fit wides well.

I previously owned a pair of Sperry Cutter 2-eye shoes. They were great, but unfortunately I wore the soles out. I went to buy a replacement pair, but found out they were discontinued. The closest I could find was the Billfish 3-eye shoe. How disappointing! After wearing the shoes one day, I had blisters on both heels. The Billfish are cut lower in the back (the Cutter 2-eye also has a pad at the top of the heel) and the toe box is narrower, so my toes feel cramped. Overall, I am very disappointed that Sperry discontinued a great shoe (Cutter 2-eye) and replaced it with the Billfish.

I cannot recommend this shoe. The first time I wore them they actually rubbed off the skin under my ankle bone. These shoes are very stiff and cut too high to where they dig into my ankle bone causing great discomfort. I no longer wear this shoe but because I wore them outside I can't return them. I bought a similar pair in the Gold Cup model and they are so much more comfortable. If it's in your budget, go with the Gold Cup.
