Great shoes! I've always had a pair for decades and have used for causal wear indoors and outdoors. So comfortable and with good traction. Even use for kayaking!

These shoes are very narrow. My foot felt like it was in a vice with the medium so I exchanged for the wide and they fit like a glove. So comfortable I wore them out of the box.

I wear them every day. These are my second pair. I have a narrow heel so the 360 degree lacing is very practical. Years of fresh and saltwater use never diminished the threading nor the leather. I like the arch support and yes I do wear socks!

I understand that boat shoes were developed by Sperry in the 1930s. I was developed in the 1940s so I thought we might make a good match, and we do. They're comfortable, reasonably stylish for an old guy, and what more can you ask from a shoe.

Think I qualify as an expert on Billfish shoes as I have seven pair and have been wearing Sperry boat shoes for more than sixty years. My Billfish collection ranges from "already should have been thrown away" to new in the box. These are my go to, every day, year round shoe. I always have a pair in waiting! My latest pair are the blue ones and they look great. Will go well with jeans, chinos, and shorts. The blue leather is more polished then the tan Billfish shoes and they look more like Gold Cups. My all time favorites are the Plushwave Billfish. Have two pair, all leather, and much lighter than regular Billfish. These seem to be no longer available, but I will buy them if they are. They wear like iron and the soles have not gotten hard and slick like some of my older shoes. All said, you can't go wrong with Sperry shoes, be they Gold Cup, sneakers or boat. I have them all, wear them every day - they are the best.

After wearing classic Sperry boat shoes for 30+ yrs, these are my 5th or 6th pair of Billfish - and first blue ones - since 1999. I wear them year-round. The arch and heal support are incredible. The pair I replace simply become garden shoes. Love 'em.

Very durable, very comfortable, good quality shoes. For many years I always wanted to purchase a Sperry deck shoe but the retails stores only carried medium width shoes. I'm very glad I discovered wide shoes on your website-now I can enjoy wearing a Sperry!

Proper width and fit right out of the box. Had to break in just a short time because it is a leather boat shoe, but feels good after break-in.

True size to fit. Might seem snug on first try on but it stretches in first two wearing to fit perfect. Don't forget to wear liner socks with them for perfect comfort. This is my third pair Billfish as they are a permanent collection of my spring to autumn go to walking shoes and brunch shoes.
