These are waterproof, comfortable and sturdy, but they are not for serious terrain hiking. The tread minimal. They look great on, but that’s really not the point of a hiking boot. These are also hard to GET ON. With no hooks at the top (they lace all the way up), it’s hard to get them wide enough to fit my foot through.

I've had these boots for two years and wear them when riding my motorcycle. Typically, they might be worn twice a week from mid-spring thru mid-fall. Accordingly, the leather and soles are in really nice shape. However, those black rubber toe and heel caps......they are turning into a nice gooey black mess on both shoes. If you touch it with your fingers, better get some Lava bar soap or GOJO Waterless Mechanics hand cleaner to get the stuff off. In technical terms, the polymer material is breaking down (i.e., separating) into whatever petrochemicals it was formed from.
Yea, it's bad and the product should be avoided.

I have been wearing these boots over a year and they have been through lots mud and rugged terrain but the welt stitching goes through the bottom tread, what is with that. The stitching is has been massacred because of the open stitching on the bottom. Overall good boot but the open stitching is a downside.

i got a pair in November 2016. i found them very food boots. i would wear them every day. about in april, i started noticing holes in the soles. i was thinking it was just wear and tear, so i bought a pair of dr. sholls soles to put in them and ended up foing through those within 15 days, and just kept trying new ones. this November i got a new pair of boots, this time i got the heritage dappers. i have not had any problems yet, but i love both.

These were my first pair of boots I got and they are very comfortable and fit well! Quality boot from a quality company, great boot for the price! Only complaint is that the sole gets smooth and are starting to squeak but that might be just a problem from where I am wearing them.

I love love love these boots. I have wide, yet tiny, feet so it's tough to find quality boots that also fit my minuscule feet, but I sized down about a full size and they are probably the most comfortable boots I've owned. Very pleased.

I bought these two years ago and I wear them more than any other shoe or boot I own. the only problem I have is since they have hard heels and outsoles my feet hurt after about 2 hours standing in them. but as long as you Clean and oil them often they will last ya. I have the 13ee and it's still a tad narrow but feels good

I wore holes in the heritage roper working in them all day, but wanted more of a traditional cowboy boot look this time. The leather is more stiff than the roper, and is taking more time to break in, but do believe they've already started molding to my feet. Also, harder to get on and off than the roper, but of course, that is the cowboy boot way. While slightly less comfortable than the roper, I am quite happy with them overall, and love the look.

OMG, these boots are adorable! I SO wanted them to fit, but -- alas! -- they are too tight around my shins. They felt good otherwise and I was tempted to keep them in hopes of being able to tolerate the discomfort, but decided it wasn't worth it just for the funky "Serape" design. As many reviewers have noted, the boots are wonderful. But for people with wider shins/lower calves, they just don't work.

My first pair of Terrain H20's made it just over two years, but the small rubber flap of the sole that extends up over the toe came loose on both boots and I glued them back in place with Shoe Goo twice.
With the exception of the toe, they have worked very good including working on metal roofs at a 6/12 pitch. I have worn Timberland's for years, but could never get more than one year out of a pair of boots, so two years is great. I wear them six days a week as we are a volunteer construction ministry. I did send an email and some pictures to corporate Ariat asking them to consider stitching that rubber flap onto the toe. Very comfortable right out of the box.

I am pleasantly delighted with comfort and style appeal. I usually get asked about them, when I wear them!

Still need to break them in a bit but pretty comfortable so far. Just wish the lining were leather like another pair of Fatbaby boots I own.

I think theses boots are great and are becoming my favorite to wear. Very true to size and the breaking in doesn't hurt as much as my other boots.

This is a good shoe, I've worn our my previous Ariat work boot. I wanted to try the Wide size and it felt no different. I'm returning it.

I bought this for My husband as a gift and they were to slim for his feet even in the EE wide. So I had to return but everything else about the boot was awesome. He loved the color and the feel just a little to narrow for his feet.

I wear the fatbabu original boots for work. I work 60 plus hours a week. These boots are light and comfortable. Unfortunately, given my working conditions they wear out in about 3 months. Still, because of their level.of comfort ,they are the only work boots I use.

Just bought these and they look great! Only part to mention I went a half size down because the reviews said they ran big. And I agree that they do. Other than size they are comfy and very cute.
