I've had my pair for 2 years and I've been pretty hard on them...I maybe waterproofed them once and they've been trudged through deep mud, wet sand, completely soaked, stepped on, etc etc...and theonlythingwrong isthat the leather is starting to crack! I'm getting another pair and giving them a bit more TLC...let's see how long my next pair lasts! :)

These are the most comfortable boots that I have owned in years. They are also very durable, I haven't been very easyon this pair, but a little TLC goes along way. Recently my town flooded, andI waswearingtheseboots during the sandbagging efforts. At one point I was standing in about 4 inches of water, and my feet were completely dry. The only reason my feet became wet, was the water continued to rise rapidly and finally became higher than my boots and filled the inside with water. A nice cleaning after the fact, and you'd never know these boots spent countless hours in water.

I absolutely LOVE these boots. I am an English rider and have a pair of Ariat paddock boots as well, but these are by far the best pair of riding/walking/whatever-the-heck-you-want-to-do footwear Ihaveeverowned. Ibought them because I work at a trail riding place and my boss raved about how awesome her Fatbabies were, and how her feet weren't fatigued after a 13 hour day of riding and walking. I was a little wary because I've always worn construction boots, but when the sole started to seperate on my pair of Dickies I decided to take the Ariat plunge. I couldn't be more pleased. I put them on and wore them for 16 hours the first day (trail riding, and then we went to a local fair; LOTS of walking) and I didn't get one blister and my feet didn't hurt one bit. The jarring pain (that happened in my feet) of jumping off a horse really fast also disappeared! I love them!

I have had my pair of boots for a month and a half and have worn them every day. They are the most comfortable pair ofshoes I have ever owned!I live in Oklahoma and we justhada snow storm with4 footsnowdrifts.My feet stayed warm and completely dry! I love these boots!!!

I really love these boots there so cute,but i've never had a pair because i cant find my size so you should really makea wide size 12 so icould get apair!!! I'mdieing fora pair!! Or you couldlet mespecailordera pair it would make my DAY:)

I've had my pair for about 3 years i wer them almost everyday and i have walked through water almost to the top deep wet sand and mud. I only polish them about oncea monthand they are stillo in great condition!!!! Ilove them they are such a great value

I got this boot for my hubby when he got a job in Houston. He never likes anything I buy him online but out of the box, he immediately said that he liked them. Finally I got great boots! I have never worn boots without laces before and getting the right size was one challenge. The other was poor quality issues. I tried several other Ariat models, Frye, Justin, Irish setter, Stetson. Probably at least 10 pairs went back and forth. If it was not for Zappos' quick and free shipping, I would have given up a long time ago! No matter what boots you purchase, always thoroughly check them for defects. Look at the bottom of the soles. If the stitch is off, it will protrude, eventually fall apart! I returned a pair of Heritage Roughstocks that were already breaking stitches. A nice bench made Frye Harness boot had a big chunk out of the heel! The Legend Phoenix is a well designed boot with quality leather. Be prepared for a week or two of break in. I have had mine for a month and they get more comfortable ever day. I have fallen asleep with theses boots on at night more than once! I wear a full size smaller in these. The instep fit is perfect, not baggy, not tight. This is key to fit! I also own a pair of Lucchese ropers sitting on the floor right next to me. What does that tell you? I highly recommend the Ariat Legend Phoenix. Good luck!

Love these boots. I normally wear a 10 hiking boot and athletic shoe. I have a slightly high arch, but went down 1/2 size to a 9.5. The fit is snug across the top of my foot, and the heel barely lifts and it's what a boot dealer would call a perfect fit. They don't need much breaking in, but they are getting more comfortable each day I wear them and the compliments are always forthcoming.

If your foot was ever broken these will be super tight on the broken foot, but they are very comfortable and don't forget your leather conditioner cuz they do come dry and hard ! Will see after a month how they break in.

The Ramblers are interesting boots. They look like nothing else, the shaft is made from four pieces of leather and left unlined, giving them a rustic, almost unfinished look. Whether you like that aesthetic or not is a matter of personal taste, but what you do get in return is remarkable comfort.
My feet are low-volume, and unlike with hockey skates, it can be difficult to find boots that fit well. After a bit of tinkering with insoles, the fit turned out perfect, and the Ramblers have become my most comfortable pair of cowboy boots.
