Ordered a 10 wide with wide calf and literally can't even get it on my foot. Extremely narrow. Wide and wide calf would fit someone with narrow feet only.

Boots look good and felt good for about 2 months. Then they start to fall apart. I have to glue the soul back on the BOTH boots on the inside. My last pair lasted 2 years so I am very disappointed in these.

I purchased a pair of fat babies for a birthday present and one boot was sewn a different size. They won't send me a new right boot replacement. Terrible experience.

I bought these boots to go hiking.. probably the worst purchase I have ever made. There's absolutely no traction or grip on them at all, I was better off hiking in my Tony Lamas. By the end of the hike I wanted to throw them in the trash, my feet have never hurt so bad in my life. I truly hope Ariat reads these reviews.. I bought them during quarantine, wore them and of course now I'm stuck with a pair of mud room accessories.

I had heard alot of good things about Ariat boots and was in the market for a new pair in 2005 so I found the R toe and liked the look. The price was right too but I gave up trying to break these boots in after 3 years and only rarely wear them now.

I ride horses and I have 3 other pairs of boots I ride in that are 25-30 years old. It was time to get a new pair and I've heard so much about Ariat's comfort that I had to try this brand. After extensive research at many websites and reading dozens of reviews, I decided to try the Heritage R toe. I was sadly disappointed. Everyone said that there was virtually no break in time needed for these.....they could be worn for hours straight out of the box. Not true. These are the stiffest boots I have ever worn. I wore them around the house every day, gradually increasing the time. It was a relief to take them off. My feet would be sore, especially the ball of my foot. I felt like I was wearing high heels, like I was on a slant. I compared them to my old pair of Abilene's that has the same heel height and could not understand why I was experiencing this downward slant with the Ariat's. I finally discovered the problem, it was the removable insole which has thick padding at the heel and a thin padding at the ball of the foot. I removed this insole and replaced it with two Spenco comfort insoles (one Spenco on top of the other Spenco). Ahhhhh, finally, I could walk flat and not at an angle. Now to address the stiff leather which makes the boot feel very clunky. I read even more reviews, then eventually found a few people that mentioned needing to condition these boots to soften the leather. I did that and will continue to do so. I'm sure over time, these will soften a bit. I know I won't be able to ride in these anytime soon though. The leather is so stiff that I can't even drop my heel in the saddle.
Sorry Ariat, I really wanted to try your brand, but I think I will look elsewhere next time.

Bought these a week ago, wore them 3 times (not roughly either) and they became way to loose! They're the correct size, but the leather around the heel and sides stretched out to make them uncomfortable. I have narrow feet and small ankles, and when first purchased they fit great. Now when I walk in them, they flop, and when I had to run in them a few days ago I about fell due to the boots trying to come off!

Ordered these boots in cooper, received distressed brown. Called Ariat & notified them the colors were mixed up on the order page. If you order cooper you will receive distressed brown. Ariat has still not corrected this problem

I've always loved my Ariat paddock boots so when I switched disciplines I figured I would get some ariats again. These are the most uncomfortable pair of foot wear I've ever bought. No they were not to big or to small I bought them in person. I thought they would break in then I started doing some research about artists western boots and I bought a pair of Justins boots and they have held up and they were comfortable they first time I put them on. That's the only brand I'll wear now.

The leather quality of this boot is very cheap.and on the site of some of the seller's the description states that the boot has a leather lining and suede shaft this is not so. Ariat this is so not like your product I have many pairs of your boots this was very disheartening.

I got these about a year ago and have had nothing but problems. Took forever to break in, blisters to this day, and 3 months in the soles on both boots started to detach. Expected the same quality and comfort as the original original Rambled, boy was I wrong.

I bought a half size smaller and these boots were still way, way too big! Did not like the look of this boot up close either. Couldn't really tell if they would be comfortable or not because they were so big.

2nd pair of Terrain H20. First pair lasted 2 years and I wore out the soles. Very pleased. Current pair have disintegrated before the year was up. Leather cracked and ripped in multiple places. (FYI - I do not wear in the winter!)

Leather is excessively thin and poor quality. Sole was barely glued on and is a hard near plastic feel. Leather was already dried and cracking fresh out of the box. Size is 1/2 smaller than it should be.

Husband bought me these boots for my Christmas present and today not even 6 months later I have a big hole in the side of the boot!! I wouldn't expect that. Took the boots in the be repaired and was told that the stitching isn't even real it's false stitches and the boot is just glued to the soles. What the heck Ariat??? I've never abused the boots and have always taken care of them. There is no reason for this to happen except for shoddy craftsmanship.

I bought this boot about 8 months ago and the stitching came undone in the section above the metatarsals on both boots. I am a loyal Ariat boot wearer since 1998 and this was a huge disappointment. Even my Ariat paddock boots last about 3 years or so, before I have to replace them. I'm not sure what happened to Ariat quality over the years, but the quality seems really poor or it's a bad design.
