I bought this shoe in pink for my mother. She had a pair already that had worn on the bottom. She doesn't want any other type of slipper. She says this is the best.

I wore this style constantly while in an Assisted Living Center recovering from an illness. I am now back at home and I continue to wear this shoe because of its style and ease in wearing. I love that it adapts so easily to both casual and dress-up occasions.

I'm writing on behalf of my friend, Jeanette, age 94, who described these Dusty Rose slippers in the Jewel design as "great in every respect, soft and cushiony, beautiful color, so comfortable, and even better now than the ones available when she bought them years ago." Trust me, this is a very fussy woman who knows what she likes.

Love the stability and comfort of these shoes and the non-marking soles. Keeps me stable on slippery wooden stairs and floors. I also like the adjustability of the width if my feet swell. Bought these for comfort and function rather than style, and they deliver what I was looking for.

This turned out to be a wonderful shoe for my 90 year old mother. The Velcro fastening makes it very easy to put on, and the shoe is very soft and comfortable. It also has a subtle style, but with some character. It's a little shiny. I wish it were matte but it's a small detail. And she doesn't notice anyway!

I got these for my elderly mother. Her feet have become quite swollen in the past year or so, and many of her shoes and slippers don't fit well anymore. I went up a half size from her usual size and they fit perfectly. The velcro closure was really great for easy on/off and for adjusting to the right size. While I don't know what sort of arch support they have, they are much more stable and cushiony than previous slippers she has had. She absolutely loves them.

I bought these for my elderly mother who's in a personal care home. Thanks to Zappos generous no-cost shipping, I was able to order 3 different pairs of slippers for Mom to try on. She loved the secure footing these provided. They weren't the prettiest but they were the safest. And because she was able to try on 3 pairs, she felt like she was actually shopping!

Nice and warm even without sock. Soft cushioned insole. Okay outside but doesn't wear well on pavement for walking. Great as a slipper.

Cute comfort - Very comfortable with better support than most slippers. Although this style of slipper is not built with ultimate fashion in mind, the pretty material puts it above the rest!

The shoes need to have a longer velcro to secure the shoe. I am returning them.

I have a hard time finding shoes in a size 12. These are still pretty new, but so far so good. My feet swell and I love that they are adjustable

fit is great but could use more arch support...I wear a narrow shoe and the velcro will stand me in good stead as I am having surgery and my feet will swell I am told..

This is my second pair of these slippers. I started wearing them following a back surgery because of their support and the easy closure. I am not particularly pleased with the style or the color (why not a dark color, navy perhaps) but they have worked very well for me. I have tried others for color and style but these slippers are just what I needed. I will continue to wear these with the hope that another color will become available.

I usually buy a size 9W, but after reading another review, I ordered the 9 and 91/2. The 91/2 W was just right. I like the Velcro closing. The fabric along with the Velcro closing takes care of any imperfections on your foot, like a bunion or spur. Not much arch support and the insole does not come out, but I think you could add an arch lift if needed. I wear them with a thin sock and they feel like slippers! I've had other Foamtreads, but these are great. I also like the vanilla color.

Not the prettiest shoe but for slippers they have a lot of support and you can adjust them somewhat. I ordered my normal size but had to order a half size larger which then fit fine. They do have tread on the soles but beware that they are slippery on wet surfaces. I wore them outside to get the mail after it rained and it was like they had no tread at all. Overall I really like them - a sturdy slipper that supports your foot.

Very comfortable but runs smaller. Looks like a well made slipper, I'll be ordering a half size up.

I bought these shoes because I needed something good for my mother in physical re-hab. She has swolen feet at times and has trouble with aching tops of her feet. These shoes met her needs. I like the fact that they are washable.

Love me some Zappos! These arrived before I had read the email letting me know they had been shipped, which they were also shipped overnight. My second pair. Ordered a wide and a half size larger than I normally wear, but they are not a wide feel in the toes, especially around the larger toe.

I got these shoes for recovery after broken ankle surgery and they worked great, felt good and have good tread on them for walking. Would be great for an older person that has trouble finding stable shoes. They seemed a little on the small side, would order a 1\/2 size up.

lightweight warm slipper - This is a very comfortable shoe, and keeps the feet warm even on cold floors. The minor problems I found was that they are just a little bit short, which isn't bad, but I also had to reglue the sole on the front end of the shoe. It peeled back far enough to nearly caused me to trip. It was easily reglued, but I wanted to pass this info on.

Some doubts about Foamtreads slippers - I recently had to replace a nearly identical pair of Foamtreads slippers (different design and color) because they didn't last very long. The "sure-grip" sole peeled off after only a couple of months in spite of my wearing the slippers indoors only and giving them only very light wear. Then they began to split open in the area of the toes. It looks as if this pair of Foamtreads, which I've had for about a month now, is about to do the same thing. Already the soles are showing signs of peeling off. I expect better from a slipper that costs over $30. I will say that Zappos.com was willing to replace my first pair of defective Foamtreads with the second pair at no cost to me. That generosity is much appreciated.

Excellent practical around-the-house shoe - I wear orthotics and recently learned I need to wear them ALL the time. Hence the need for casual shoes that are big enough to take orthotics, easy to slip on and off, and comfortable. All of the above is true of these. They also solve another problem of mine -- narrow heels -- which make many shoes unworkable for me. These are fine.

Comfortable house “shoe” This is a good indoor shoe/slipper, which I feel is most comfortable with light socks. It is sturdy, with an upbeat design, good with loungewear and pajamas – perfect when doing household chores because they don’t slip off the feet, as scuff styles might do. Because I am from Florida, I will get the most use from this footwear in the winter months.

I was excited to receive these slippers for my elderly mother. Thought the Velcro would be great for her. Unfortunately they ran small and I wasn't able to get a larger size. They seemed comfy and the color was very neutral. Nice support and grip.

I purchased these for my elderly mother. She normally wears an 8. I purchased these in 2 sizes (8 & 8 1/2 - WIDE) The 8 1/2 her toes were right to the end. I didn't even bother with the 8. Sending back for a larger size/width. As my mother ALWAYS wears socks with her slippers, I am going up to a 9 1/2 in these. The fabric seems fine and these are rigid and I think will be great for her since she "shuffles" when she walks and tends to flop around in slip-on slippers. The price seems a little higher than most slipper brands - but I think these have more benefits than a regular slipper provides.
