These boots are great! Very stylish, extremely waterproof and easy to walk in. The only con is that they rub the top of my foot just a little bit. But otherwise they are the best rain boots you can get!

I was thrilled to receive my Hunter Original black rubber boots: so shiny, and so chic! Since they looked so wonderful with my jean legs tucked in, I wore them to an informal gathering - due to the inclement weather. I received compliments all evening, and I was able to save my leather boots from the inevitable splashes of rain. Dealing with Zappos was effortless; they have become my new "first place to check" site.

True to size & very comfortable. I bought these after going through several lower-priced rain boots. These are amazing.

Love these boots, super comfortable. Runs a bit large, I'm a 6.5 and the size 6 is even a bit big, but still fits!

Love my Hunter boots! Was recently in a torrential, and I mean torrential, rainstorm in NYC running through deep puddles and I stayed cozy and dry with my Hunters! Practical, yet fashionable too. Love my Hunters!

Zappos was incredible; such fabulous customer service! I had some trouble with sizing for these boots and had to try different sizes and different styles and it was a breeze with Zappos! While most reviews said to size down for the boot I still found them to be too snug (even though it was only a 1/2 size down) the larger size was then too big unless I had the Welly Socks on with them. Likely just due to my feet which are on the long and narrow size, but no issues at all with Zappos service and they are the best! The height of the boot surprised me as I am pretty tall and it still hit just below the knee. I found the shoe to run true to size; just needed a 1/2 size which Hunter doesn't offer.

I have purchased 3 pairs of Hunter Boots from Zappos. They are perfect for gardening & for rainy days. I love them & would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an all weather boot!

I typically where a 7.5. Sometimes a and in heels, so I bought the 38 in Hunter boots. At first I thought they might be small because I didn't have the tried and true thumbs-width of extra room that my mom always told me I needed, but I walked from NY Penn Station to Grand Central in NYC and they were very comfortable. I wear my shoe inserts in these. The footbeds are comfortable, but no arch support. Most shoes don't have arch support, so I need my insoles. They are not full length insoles; they stop just before the pad of my foot and they are a hard plastic. They work great in these boots. The one thing that is a little strange about the boots is that the buckle on the side doesn't serve a purpose. It is fully a stylistic detail. The little flap doesn't stay in the buckle; it comes out a lot and kind of flops around. But it doesn't really bother me. It's meant to do that. It's not like boots need a buckle. I'd almost prefer them without it because I'm afraid it might break if I brush up against something and nick it off, but it looks cool I guess. Hard to picture Hunters without. Don't underestimate how comfortable these are though. Very soft on the bottom for rain boots. And durable. Great shoe. I bought the green and love it. Very classic.

Got for daughter after Sperry rain boots tore at inside of foot. She is thrilled and hopefully will last the next 3 years in the snow/rain. Top of boot slightly under knee (higher) and seemed to have more width than her Sperry rain boots. We went with the original as she is 5'6.

Awesome boots. Comfy and stylish. Definitely buy the Wellie sock liners. They are a must for comfort and are oh so cute!

Cute, comfy and practical. I get compliments on them every time I wear them, and I love the navy color/almost more of a soft black. Just wish I hadn't waited so long to buy them!

Great boots! I am happy with the dull black color - they match with just about everything and don't show any dirt. I have athletic calves and find them a bit tight with jeans, but they are still relatively easy to get on and off and very waterproof! Although the soles are heavy, they're very comfortable.

Love my pink Hunter rain boots...perfect color and fit! However, you need to be at least 5'4" tall, these boots are a bit taller than your average rain boot. If you are a shortie, you may want to invest in Hunter's short rain boots! One more thing...I'm a 7 1/2 in shoes, so I ordered a size 7 and they fit perfect!

So, glad I finally got a pair of wellies! These are the originals and they'll never go out of style (as far as a rain boot goes).

I thought these were great shoes for prancing around in rain and mud with! The only concern was that they were a little snug in the calves, but I'm a runner so that's to be expected. I wore them all day to photograph an outdoor festival and my feet weren't even sore the next day. I was glad to have them as I was ankle deep in mud and didn't get soggy!

I see many people are wearing when it rains/snows, so I wanted try. It's really good and comfortable. I like it!

I bought a Tretorn for the winter slush of NYC and shopped around for Hunter boots for the spring rain. Zappos had the best price, free shipping and they even upgraded my shipping so it arrived next business day. So in love. The boots are comfortable and a really great color. I recommend wearing socks with them though as they are a bit roomy around the toe area.

Great boots! A little tight of the calves at first (my calves are probably slightly larger than normal) but then after a few wears they are perfect! Very comfortable and finally rain boots I like.

I bought these for my daughter in aubergine. Very pretty and functional. They are great to walk around in and completely waterproof.I also purchased the liner for the winter months.

So glad I finally got these! I normally wear a 9.5 and I got a 9 and they fit perfect. You do have to wear them with skinny jeans but I like that they're not flopping around my calves like other rainboots. Perfect for spring and they'll work well with the wellie socks in winter too!

These boots are awesome! They are pretty narrow but I knew that going in plus I have skinny legs and was looking for a boot where my legs wouldn't "rattle" around. They are sturdy, a great color, and nice and tall.

These boots are amazing! I finally caved and got Hunters after going through like three other pairs of rainboots. Superb quality and a nice preppy style.

I love these boots. They are so comfortable, super easy to slip on, and fit great. I need to wear them with skinny jeans or tights as the leg opening is not too wide, but not snug either. Awesome color (Aubergine).

I took the advice of previous reviewers and ordered a size smaller and I'm glad I did. I normally wear a size 11 women's shoe. Hunter size 10 is perfect. I have a narrow foot, but the boot does not feel sloppy - great arch support and original green looks cool. I love Zappos - great customer service and the joke of the day is fun!

Wonderful. Useful. Fashionable. I have these wellies in red, black, fuchsia, metallic silver, and now yellow. I wear a size 8 shoe usually but always order the size boot that fits a size 7 shoe even though it is a close fit. you get used to that in time as it is better than having the boot flop around and swim on your foot. The next size up is just too big. I love the glossy wellies as well and ordered them in 2 colors. I had to return them sadly. They definitely run bigger than the regular wellies. The shaft is also taller even though it does not say that in the description. So I am sticking with the non-glossy wellies as the sizing is better and the shaft not too tall. They last forever and I wear them in all but the summer months. Works best with cashmere socks in my opinion.
