Wear boots all day with no problems. Comfortable and supportive. The heal will eat socks thought.

Shipping was awesome! However, I had to send the first pair back. These boots run about 1/2 a size too big. Other than that, I love them.

These are great boots. I am in law enforcement and have had my last Magnums for 3 years. They only complaint I have is they are about a 1/2 size too big than my last ones.

Bought these shoes for my brother in Serbia. He loves them. Cops wear these same ones over there so now he thinks he is cool.

This is just a great everyday boot for the winter. They keep me warm. They are durable yet light so running in them is not a problem either.

Overall the Magnum Response 2 Boot is a good boot. No break in period required. Right out of the box the boot is so comfortable. One hell of a boot. I am a Police Officer. Overall, the Magnum Boot is a must have.

Great fitting quality boot for the price - I use these for motorcycle riding and was going to order the Oakley Tactical boots, but decided to try these. They fit great and are perfect for riding.

Son loves them - I bought these for my 19 year old son to work in. I got them for him because he works on smooth greasy surfaces. They do the job well. He loves the style and says they are the most comfortable shoes he has ever had

These boots are not bad for the money but they are definitely at least a half to a full size larger than marked.

Good boots, a little over-designed. I was pleasantly surprised by the fit of these boots compared to the Magnums I had purchased several years ago. I took these for a 5-mile walk right out of the box: no break-in, no problems. (My older Magnums were sock destroyers - they would rip the heels with just a few wears.) These new ones do feel a little roomy, but not bad. Style-wise, I think the details on the side of the soles should be left out; the recesses just serve to collect dirt and mud. Also, I don't like the padded parts on the leg; would prefer plain unpadded leather/nylon here - much cooler in hot weather. And finally, I don't like the notch at the top back; this is where you would normally grasp the boot to carry it or pull it on; the notch serves no useful function. Attention boot designers: remember, FUNCTION over FORM!!! Overall, I'm very satisfied with these boots and would buy another pair assuming they hold up well.

This shoe was terrible. It disintegrated within a few months of my husband wearing them. The sole came away from the upper, and all the material started to crumble. I attempted to contact the maker to see if we could get a deal on a new pair, and they never responded back. Do not buy these shoes.

I've owned my pair for over 5 years. They've lasted through every Michigan winter, multiple construction sites, and a countless number of off-road hikes. I'm only replacing them because the insulation has finally worn out and I can feel every bit of cold from these Michigan winters now. But otherwise, they are obviously quite durable (sorry to the reviewer whose pair fell apart so soon, but that was obviously an anomaly), the side-zip is very convenient (the photograph shows only the outsides of the pair), and they are remarkably water resistant. While I wouldn't trudge through streams with them, they can withstand lots of melted snow and some slush puddles.

A great tactical at a lower price. I've had at least 3 pairs of these over a few years time. The walk I take is about 3.5 miles, at least 1 time daily. I might do three times a day on occasion. Some trekking around with up to a 50 lb pack for a few miles through cities, airports, etc. At almost 50, I'm about comfort, and I'll wear these for morning exercise walk, in suits at customer sites all day, afternoon exercising, and evening. They barely cool off before they are back on, and keep going. The height helps keep the old football ankles wrapped comfortably, all the time, love that. I also avoid side zips because they invariably have ended up hurting the ankle areas (injuries over time). Using lace up only helps avoid that issue. Just bought Viper II 8.0 from Z yesterday for the sole on them, smoother steet type tread pattern than Response IIs. Great all around boot for the low price they ask.

Excellent boots...sturdy, comfortable, durable and a good fit. I used them for 5 days straight in the desert and they were great in the heat of the day and the cold of the night. Buy them now!
