I am so angry at myself for paying so much for these shoes. I feel the need to warn others. Yes, they are cute. But, they are not worth the price for comfort because they are not comfortable. There is little to no padding on the bottom of the shoe. The little padding there is in the arch and the side of the foot is not enough to provide actual support. I have been wearing these for a little over two weeks now and feel almost no support under my feet. I can feel the sidewalk when I walk down the street. When worn without socks, these shoes create an enormous amount of friction. I could barely stand to put my feet down flat on the ground after walking a little over a mile in these. The bottom of the shoe has almost completely worn off. There are scrapes on the side of the sole that have taken the black finish off which changed the look of the shoe. Not a big deal if I had been wearing these for months, but it has been about two weeks. Overall, you would be getting a better deal paying for cheap flats and throwing some cheap Dr. Scholl's inserts in them. I am so disappointed.

Perfect travel shoes! Look cute with jeggings and skirts. Wore them to New Orleans and walked all day, wore them to Pilates, lunch, casual dinners, the airport. No break-in necessary. Compliments a couple of times. You won't regret this purchase. Has a good amount of arch support, too. True to size.

I was loathe to spend this much money on a pair of flats, but I walk a lot and am starting to feel too old and sloppy wearing sneakers all the time. So these shoes are worth the investment. Best of all is the fit: with the straps they stay on my foot which has a narrow heel but they are wide enough in the front for my bunion. Plus they are cute and feminine. Recommended.

Super cute shoe, but I didn't like how I could feel the top of the shoe with my big toe, and you could see my big toe poking up through the top of the shoe. The material's a bit thin.

Arguably, one of the most expensive flats I\'ve purchased, but well worth the splurge. They are perfect in every way. Soft soft soft!...from the footbed to the leather upper...even the elastic straps are just right - snug enough to keep the shoe securely on the foot, but not so tight as to cause pain or red marks after a few hours of wear. There isn\'t much arch support as with most flats, but these feel surprisingly good even after a long (6-8hr) workday of mostly standing and walking. I am truly amazed at the comfort of these shoes...and they\'re actually NOT dowdy looking! I am going to invest in more of Gentle Souls most definitely.

I normally wear a size 8 1/2 in Gentle Souls, but this shoe was too tight across my middle toe, despite the wide toe box. The toe was too low in the front. I didn't think it was very flattering on my foot. Very duckbill looking. I was hoping for a muted metallic, but I thought they just looked dirty.

Sorry - but no! I bought these really cute shoes to wear on a trip to NYC. Since I was going to be doing so much walking, I thought these would be super comfy. My feet are now covered in blisters that are still killing me where the leather rubbed and irritated. Yes, I did have on light socks. These are going into the trash bin - live and learn.

These flats are comfortable from the very first moment you put them on your feet. They are beautifully constructed using quality materials. The slightly metalic color I purchased is subtle and makes it a useful neutral shade for jeans or slacks.

Comfort fit and funky look - I just love these shoes. The softest leather I've ever found & super comfortable. I keep them in my brief case - they look great w/ black tights and a suit. The cross straps eliminate any pressure points.

These shoes are so comfortable and fit so well that I have them in two different colors! I wear an 8 1/2 usually, but these fit better in a size 8. I have high arches, and the straps help accommodate that really well, as well as my very narrow heels. I love these shoes with jeans, skirts, and capris. It's a good value for the money.

I bought these shoes over a year ago and they have been my "go to" shoes ever since. My 27-year-old daughter was visiting recently, borrowed these shoes, and asked for a pair for her birthday!

Gentle is the operative word. I'd give them 5 stars for comfort but I need more arch support. I love how the straps accommodate my high arch.

This is my favorite brand of flat shoe because of style and inner sole construction. It's perfect, completely comfortable and made very well. They are not easy to find in NYC, so I was thrilled that Zappos has so many choices. I think your company is excellent.

Love the shoes...cute and comfortable and they work for both casual to semi-dressy. They look great with a pair of skinny jeans or capris for a weekend look. The metallic works with everything in my wardrobe. I bought them for vacation where we walk a lot and they have been extremely comfortable from the moment I put them on. This is my first pair of Gentle Souls but certainly won't be the last!

Gotta love Gentle Souls! My collection is growing, and these shoes are my most recent addition. They are so cute and as comfortable as you expect with Gentle Souls. First time I wore them, I got several comments on how cute they are! I don't think they are quite as bright as the picture makes them look, but they certainly are adorable and will be a pair of "go to" shoes for me!

I am a huge fan of Gentle Souls and these are quite fashionable. Love the ballet look in this metallic color. Will go with anything. The elastic straps help the shoe fit better than most and the comfort is incredible. True to size.

Darling shoes; feel like slippers. The antique silver color is exactly as pictured--a slight taupe or gold cast to it (coordinating with the straps) that gives it depth rather than a big brightness. These will get tons of wear!

Comfortable Plus - This is by far the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I have many issues with my feet, but I've been pain free since I got these wonderful shoes. I wear them every day, something that I was not able to do before. Changing shoes was a daily ritual at least 2-3 times a day, but not anymore - I can wear them all day, everyday.
