they run big - They are comfy but they run at least a 1/2 size big.

Cute... The shoe is cute: the style (no strings), the colors, and the worn look make the shoe unique. However, you should wear thick socks or order a half to full size smaller- they run long.

Cute but not too comfy - Bought these after seeing them on someone else. They are very cute, but short on comfort. Possibly due to the unusual sizing, they are somewhat narrow at the widest part of your foot and rub a bit. I usually wear a women's 9 and ordered the 6 which fit fine. I also find them kind of clunky due to the sole thickness and stiffness. Nevertheless, a fun looking shoe!

All Star Slip? I really like the look and concept of these sneakers but my major complaint is that they don't slip (as per the name) on that easy. As for the sizing I ordered the same size that I normally wear in chucks a full size smaller than suggested. Example: Women's 9 = Men's 6

Cool shoe! Great shoe, no hassle with laces. Comfort has never been great on these shoes, so get extra supports if you're on your feet a lot. But, they look good and are convenient. Get a smaller size than normal though.

Adorable! I saw these in a magazine and had to order them right away. They're adorable, though people always ask why I don't have laces in my shoes! My only complaint was in sizing - they're much larger than true size. Overall though, I'm tempted to buy a pair in every color - I adore them.

Love this shoe for spring/summer! Looove these very cool shoes - I bought them in the Chocolate color. I'm normally a size 7 but the heel kept slipping so I took a 6.5 instead. I was afraid they would be too wide and a bit clownish looking but they actually are just right for my slightly narrow feet.

I am the first on my block - People ask "Where's the laces?" and I get to tell them how they are sewn halfway up so you don't need laces. And the color is Green Apple, thank you very much, not lime. The material for this color has a linen look. But what I do need with these slip ons is socks because the seams on the top pinch and rub.

Careful about sizing - -great floppers. I sent back 10 1/2s cause they were to big. (I'm a size 12-121/2) Size ten seems to stay on my feet. Cool style, but not for serious sporting endeavors. Again, downsize!!

Cool cons - These are great shoes! Truly a different slant on the basic Converse sneak, pretty comfortable (rub a little bit), nice vintage/frayed look, good assortment of shades (I bought the navy). Varvatos came out with the “designer” end of this model, but can’t really see why they warrant the steeper price. Oh well, if it makes Ashton Kutscher feel a step up, that’s ok with me! I love my All Star Slips just as they are. The only downside: no arch support and definitely a 1/2 size bigger than marked. Besides that, it’s a terrific summer knock-around.

These babies run a full size larger than marked - I saw these in a magazine and thought these would be perfect for me- a cute sneaker that I don't have to tie. They are a bit wide but adorable and look just like the picture. Think boat shoes. They were marked a women's size 7 but they are HUGE (a full size larger than marked).

Like the reviews below mine, I also felt that these shoes were a size larger than marked - I guess I should have read the testimonals before I bought them! The fit is still ok, but they look oddly long to me, like clown shoes. (Though maybe that's because I bought them in red.) The vintage look that they have in the picture kind of comes off as unfinished and dilapidated in reality, but they're still cute and very comfy. What impressed me the most, though, is that I ordered the shoes Monday morning, chose the free shipping, and received them Tuesday afternoon. This was my first Zappos.com purchase, and that definitely sold me on them.

I bought the green apple ones. very cool. They do run pretty large. I'm usually a women's size 10 and I ordered them in 7.5 and they're fine. I like that they're a slip on but give a different look than the Vans or Sperry slip ons.

Could be better . . . I bought these shoes for a couple reasons. I had been frustrated with trying to find a pair of laces that looked good in the neon blue Chucks I got a year ago and loved the idea of a lace-free Chuck. Secondly, I found few choices of brown vegan shoes that I liked. I considered the Million Stitch or Double Upper Chucks, but stuck with these. When I got my slip-on Chucks home, I tried them on again. As I slipped one on my foot, the stitched-on eyelet strip ripped off on one side. I returned them to the store where I bought them and they fixed and reinforced the shoes for me. I've worn these 4-5 times and decided I might have needed a half-size smaller than my regular Chucks size. It's weird wearing such flimsy-yet-heavy slip-ons. They come off a little too easily. I do enjoy the look and "street cred" of these shoes, although I wish they'd done the normal wrap-around racing stripe.

Not for narrow feet - I tried this shoe with double thick in-soles but it was still too wide for my narrow feet.

Real loose - The review said to go a half size smaller and I did but I think maybe a full size smaller would have been better.

Alternachick loves em! The first time I saw these Julia Roberts was wearing them and I was like, how on earth does she keep her shoes on with no laces! Little did I know they were made that way! I found these in a discount dept. store in Brooklyn for 25 bucks and said why not? They are so, so cute. I bought them in red. I had an original Chucks in black during my alternative rock teen years in the 90's. No support of course, they feel like shoes, not sneaks, probably why I gave my old ones away. But, they definitely make you feel cool a la Kurt Cobain. I'm a 7 1/2 and the 6 1/2 fit, so order ONE WHOLE SIZE DOWN! Not half a size as mentioned.

Cute but not so comfy - The shoes look fantastic, but they're taking a while to break in. There are lots of rough places on the inside of the shoe that rub the tops of my feet. And the heels just slip right off when I walk. Probably because I have narrow feet, and this is really a men's shoe. I'm sure I'll get more accustomed to them as I break them in.

Slip on converse - This particular converse was disappointing. The edges of the material were frayed...just not what we expected…will not buy this style again...

Chucky T's slip-ons - The shoe is very comfortable. They go on and off very easily. I like the look of the shoes with jeans or with shorts. I've had them about 2 weeks now, worn them about 6 times some seams are fraying giving them the worn in look rather quickly. I took the advice to order 1 size smaller and the shoes fit almost perfectly.

The cutting edge - Definitely trendy and cute, but the seams fray quite a bit over time. Mine are looking very disheveled and ragged over the main seams on either side of the laces. For a more polished and lasting look I like the originals better.

They're cute, but they look better with capris - I wear my black Chuck Taylors with laces most of the time, so I bought these because I thought they would be a sure bet; plus, I love slip on shoes. Once I got them, I decided that I don't like the way they look with jeans, but they are cute with capris. I would definitely stick to the original style to wear with long pants.
