Sturdy and lightweight for a new walker. Width accommodates chubby baby feet. Felt true to size for toddler 5.5. Fastens snugly and baby doesn't mind wearing them.

Bought these for my son and he runs around at the park in them. Wore them until he grew out of them almost every day and didn’t wear out. He looks comfortable in them and lots of room for his toes. I’m definitely buying more of this brand!

Our shoes just died. Granted the show looks brand new but the bottom fell off b/c in the washer. But here's the incredible part. I have 4 kids. 4 kids have worn these shoes over the last 10 years. Two boys, two girls (granted the girls didn't wear them every day like the boys but they still wore them when they donned navy or red clothing. And the upper still looks brand new. This brand is incredible! I wish all kids shoes were like this... comfortable, washable, non-fading, good looking and long lasting. Thanks so much Tsukihoshi, I'm going to go order 4 more pairs for my 3, 5, 8, and 11 year olds right now.

These shoes are great, very lightweight and wash well. My 20 month old son loves them - seems comfortable and walks well in them.

This is the second pair of this brand that I bought for our grandson. He and his parents love these shoes. Wears well, and he can walk and run in them because they bend in all the right places. He is 14 months old. He can't open the velcro, which we love. And his little wide foot fits so nicely in them. We bought our granddaughter this brand when she was a baby. They are the best if your baby has a wide, or deep instep.

We love these shoes for our son. He has been wearing them for a few months now. We ordered 2 different sizes for our 2.5 year old son and kept the larger size. Easy on/off -- easy for him to take off himself which isn't always desirable. Just one piece of velcro keeps it closed. He loves these shoes, too, and prefers them to all other shoe options.

Very nice shoe. Bought it for my very active 1 1/2 year old to play in. He's worn them several times and they seem to be very comfortable on his feet and are still in great condition. The color is also very nice. Would recommend.

Love Tsukihoshi! My son has a wide, thick foot, so this fits him well. It is easy to get on and is well made. Love the red color!

I ordered a half size larger than we needed, so it was a bit bigger at the start. The velcro was long enough to help hold it securely on his foot. However, as he's grown into them, they give him plenty of width-room, which other shoes didn't. The half-attached tongue is very helpful, and the whole shoe lets him run and climb with no hassles. Overall, a great shoe!

My 2 year old son hates shoes ever since I tried a pair of squeeky shoes on him. It is impossible to have him try shoes at the store. When I saw this brand, I decided to give it a try. It was amazing that when I put them on him, he didn't complain at all. Second time he saw his shoes, he did not object. I figured it must be comfortable. Super light weight, lighter than his pair of crocs! I bought white / silver / red color and the shoes get dirty easily. I remembered reading somewhere that I can throw it in the washing machine. Well, I tried that. It came out clean, and dried pretty quick! When he outgrows it later, I will buy another pair. Oh, he has wide feet, and this works just fine. Stride Rite won't work on him. I don't like those fancy heavy shoes anyway. Strongly recommend this one.

My daughter wore these shoes every day for a year and they still look great. We just bought the next size up. The shoes are easy to get on: she has been able to put these shoes on by herself since she was just over two years old. My girl has wide feet and typically outgrows shoes in her pinky toe long before she's out of room in the big toe. These shoes are shaped well for her feet!

These are not cobalt, they are navy, exactly the same blue shoe color as the navy/red pair that I ordered. Also, I ordered 1/2 size smaller as recommended and have to send all of them back because they are true to size. The exact same size as my boys' other shoe brands (Beeko, Jumping Jack and Marvel). I kept the one size 7 for one 18mo old twin and will order another online but now see that colors are very limited. I will still give these five stars because they look great and they are super comfortable and easy to get on. A very nice shoe. I also found that the Tsukihoshi Euro ran true to size so maybe the manufacturer has fixed this sizing issue?

Let me start by saying that Zappos is the best in customer service and product availability! I have sold childrens shoes for over 40 years and know my products extremely well. I always want the very best shoes for my little grandchildren's growing feet and Zappos always has what I'm looking for in all my quality expectations. The service is beyond unbelievable...always lighting fast! The Tsukihoshi brand is one of the very best fitting shoes for your children from 1st walkers to active 3rd graders. The fit is perfect and allows enough room for growth. The quality is top notch...machine washable and has a green tea extract liner which wicks away moisture and helps with foot odor. This shoe is the very best for active and growing children! Thank you Zappos for all that you do!

Great shoes. Tsukihoshi tennis shoes are the only ones we wear other than Stride Rite!

My son has to wear custom inserts (orthotics), so it's been very difficult to find a shoe that's deep enough because they add so much depth/height to his foot. These are great and the first shoes I've felt really fit well. They're also very lightweight and washable.

These are great shoes for young toddlers. I've gone through several pairs of shoes with my 18 month old son, many of which took him a while to get used to- tripping a lot during the first few wears. These shoes, while a little large for him now, haven't given him any trouble, and he gets excited about wearing them. I love that they are machine washable and breathable. He's only worn them for two weeks, so I can't speak to longevity, but I am overall happy with them. I took one star off because the very strap (which is really long and would accommodate a wide/large foot), unfastens easily on it's own when it catches on something. It's also very easy for him to open. Otherwise, great shoe. I will buy again!
