Great bag/purse - I ordered this bag to use as a purse/carry-on bag for my trip to Hawaii. I used it for my carry-on for the plane and then emptied it out a bit for a purse the rest of the trip. I loved it! It has plenty of room and was just the right size to work for both purposes. Very sturdy and I know it will last a long time. Strap is plenty long to wear across your body. Great bag/purse!

I love this bag! I like large purses, and this bag is perfect. From the adjustable shoulder strap to the multiple pockets, it holds all of my necessities and some extras. I wish it had a water bottle holder, but the inside is so spacious I can just stash a bottle in there. I also love the shoe-sole bottom, so I can sit the bag anywhere and not worry about it getting wet. If it gets dirty, I can just wipe it clean. I have recommended this bag to my friends.

WOW! This bag is functional for everything! I bought it for a trip and it was great to carry the things I needed, plus it was able to hold the things I bought along the way. My mom ended up buying one, too, after seeing mine! Very sturdy and the bottom doesn't get dirty with the rubber on the bottom! I won't need to buy another travel bag again!

This bag delivers! I'm a diehard Keen shoe fan and this is my first Keen bag. Well, just like their shoes, it's the greatest! I don't like purses and don't need a HUGE messenger bag for work. This is the perfect organizer - great colors, too. I'm tired of black so I got the Bossa Nova/Potting Soil - very nice brown with a rusty red on the flap. Way to go Keen and, as usual, thank you Zappos for stellar customer service!

BUY ME NOW! I'm a big fan of Timbuk2 bags - but also of Keen shoes - and found this bag in the grey/yellow combination for half price on a clearance site. It's absolutely fantastic. Well made, water-resistant and I'm really happy with the (recycled!) rubber bottom on this bag. I realize some folks will think it's too small - it's smaller than a Large size Timbuk 2 bag - but for hauling around a couple of notebooks, plus your keys and whatnot, it's just perfect. It's got eight or ten interior pockets in various sizes and at various depths on the bag, so you're not forever having to dig in the bottom just to find smaller items. I took mine to a concert tonight and fit my wallet, keys, makeup, chewing gum, and a couple of concert shirts inside with nary a hitch. I love this bag so much I really am considering buying another one in a different color. Seriously - if you need a really sturdy, yet cute, bag, this is the one. (I guess I'm a weirdo but I like the clasp, the belt buckle and the xposed metal. It's got more of a casual look than some shoulder bags, but I personally think that's a good thing.)

A great casual bag - I use this bag on a regular basis. It fits my wallet, pens/pencils/notes/papers, AND my MacBook! It's very handy, and when I am not carrying my computer, the bag is even roomier. Other reviews mention the hook on the front, and I agree: it is awkward. However, I don't use it. I just use the velcro, which works well. I'm glad I bought it.

Great all around bag - I use it for work. Lots of little pockets for cell phone, and other small items. Comfortable to wear, enough space in main compartment. Get loads of compliments! Made from recycled materials a definite plus - sold me on this item.

Hope to love this brand new bag - I haven't used this as I also purchased the Keen Irvington and used that instead for the trip I just took. Was going to return this but I am sure I will be happy to have it in the future. Larger than the Irvington so I can fit my laptop inside it. Not sure how I will like the closure but overall think the styling is great. The strap is long enough to go diagonally across the body, thus reducing stress on the neck and shoulders.

Awesome Bag for Daily Use!!! This is an awesome man-bag. The bag is relatively light weight and yet is fully capable of carrying a big load. Last week I went to NYC and in the snow/rain/slush the bag held up and not one item in my bag got wet. I can not say enough about this bag. The buckle closure is a little bit cumbersome, but there is a large velcro piece so the buckle is not truly necessary unless you want security (like in NYC). Another great product by Keen.

Holds all - A great bag that holds everything, without mixing it all up. Very organized, light, easy to wear, rinse it off, but it does not get dirty. Love bottom, as recycled shoe bottom, don't worry, you wont' worry about wear and tear on this bag.

Great Day Bag! Big fan of Keen shoes and now their line of bags! Saw this first in Germany and fell for the style immediately. Great bag to toss things into for a day on the town. Right now, my bag carries all the necessities for my dogs and our trips to the park.

This bag won out in my search for something simple that I could use daily, but could occasionally fit my 15" MacBook Pro when I needed to. I compared this to the Mountain Hardwear Hilo Messenger and the Timbuk2 D-Lux Messenger Bondage. The Hilo was the most comfortable, but it was just too big. The D-Lux looked the best, but because of the angle of the strap, it was crazy uncomfortable. Also, the crossover strap barely fit around my 39" waist. Sure I could stand to lose 20 pounds, but I think the strap could be longer. In the end, the Oswego was lightest, comfortable enough, stylish enough, and roomy enough for my basic needs.

Lots of storage, adjustable strap is great. The only issue for me its shape. Although it's better aesthetically for the pack to be narrow vs wide, it tends to slide around more when you're walking. If it were a little bit wider, it might stay in place better.

I use this bag as a "toddler bag". A spare change of clothes and some diapers/wipes fit perfectly along with my personal stuff. Very comfortable when slung across the body. I don’t remember if it’s "waterproof", but can assure you that lots of liquids have been spilled on the outside and inside of my bag, and everything wiped up easily.

Great padding for shoulder strap. Did not like velcro closure - if you put a small computer in neoprene sleeve within found that I had no room for anything else. Somewhere between purse and briefcase is how it best functions

It a cool bag - very usable. Nice long strap and I love the rubber bottom. I ordered the red color and it is much more of a wine/burgundy red than a true red. The Zappos picture does not show the correct color. You can compare this picture to other websites to see what I mean. Still a cute, functional bag, just not the color I hoped I was getting.

Great bag. I love this great big bag. Only drawback is it has a sort of rubber odor to it. I'm thinking that should dissipate in time though.

Keen's Oswego - I was looking for a crossbody bag and this one looks terrific. The rubber bottom gives it a cool rugged look; however, this makes the bag very heavy to start. I'll use it at times but it's not the everyday bag I was looking for.

Uncertain... I just can't make up my mind. Is it too large or not? It is a VERY large bag, be sure to check the measurements to be certain you want a bag this huge. What I wanted was a bag that I could carry as a purse, but also has enough room for my toddler's extra outfit, a pack of baby wipes, and maybe a couple toy cars. I do have room for those things, but I feel like I'm carrying something I would pack for vacation. I wouldn't consider carrying this bag when I don't have my toddler along, but that's exactly what I was looking for--something that I could use all the time, whether or not I had my son along. Having said all that, it's very well made, I love the rubber bottom, and I love the hardware because I'm not really the girly-girl type. I think its great looking. If only it were a bit smaller and wider, it could be perfect. So far, I haven't returned it.

Good day bag - Nice looking bag, I have one in black, really like the style and the fabric. The strap is superwide and very comfortable. However, everything is a bit too small: the side pockets, the "big" inside compartment... I kept it and I like it but I wish it had more room.

Better in person! Good space, good adjustable strap and a full cross body hands free bag with a very comfy strap. I'm not a huge fan of the airplane seatbelt buckle on the side, but everything else is cool. I bought this for travel but have found that I use it every day...very durable, lightweight, sturdy, easy to clean...and flat enough that it doesn't look like a backpack of a hiker.

Stick to Their Shoes - As a Keen fan and a man-bag expert, I had high expectations for the Oswego. It seemed too good to be true...and it was. The first real negative is all the exposed metal (which is something I tend to avoid on technical day bags). The buckle for adjusting the strap length is huge, similar in design to TimBuk2's, but in metal and not light-weight plastic. The (metal) hook system for getting under the flap isn't very user friendly either, not easy to access quickly and doesn't seem very secure when latched. The rubber bottom is nice in theory, but not worth the added weight. Lastly, the side pockets look real cool, but don't provide enough space to house a sunglasses or camera case.

This bag is huge. The picture and description didn't give this indication. It's a very wide bag and not what I was looking for at all -- not 'purse' like.
