Cute shoes, EXCELLENT service - Very unique and seem comfortable so far. They definitely run small though. I usually wear 8.5 and the 9 just fits. This is my first order with Zappos and I was impressed with the fast service!

Cute and fun - Gives a little lift and is very comfortable. Gave it 4 stars overall since I definitely needed to buy a 1/2 size larger.

Runs small - Even with the generous width, this shoe runs small. Normally I wear a 6, sometimes a 6.5 if it's narrow, but this shoe I needed a 7. The heel cup design is so narrow that my narrow heel wouldn't fit inside. Now that I have the right size, I'm happy and as always, happy w/ Zappos for making it so painless.

Continental is Not inter-continental comfort - The design of these shoes is good in theory. The heel lip is excellent. The toe box is a good B+, roomy but not swimmy. The strap works well but the colors don't coordinate well. Unfortunately, the toe box material is so stiff that it abrades my toes and cuts into the forefoot when it's hot and the feet swell even a millimeter. It would be great if J-41 updated this with a slightly softer material. Of course I had to wear them for four hours before I discovered this. Three more attempts at wear did not improve. They are not "breaking in". So I am stuck with them I guess. Maybe good for taking out the trash or walking a block to the mail box, but I wouldn't want to jump the pond in them. The J-41 wedge is the best design I've seen lately, so I hope they will re-design this one. Happily, Zappos now has more J-41 styles.

Kind of strange looking in person - I thought I was going to love these but they looked strange with almost every pant I tried them with. The fit is also kind of odd as a slip on with the high heel and thin strap. Just not for me I guess.

Cute but clunky - I will go for a little clunk when it's worth it. I am devoted to Danskos stapled clogs for that reason. The Continental is just not worth it. They are fairly comfortable, the arch support come close to what I want (and closer than most) but not quite there, I like the skin-tone tan, and most of all I like the height in a sturdy walking shoe. However, I decided they are not that flattering on me. Mostly it's the dark pattern on the footbed that makes it look almost like a high heel. I think the one-toned St. Martin is much better looking, but they are out of my size. These J-41's have a lot of potential. I like that they use recycled material and that they are making rugged walking shoes that are attractive.
