Returned today - Material, fur lining, and workmanship were nice. True to size for me (10B). Comfortable, but clunky looking. I was looking for a boot to wear with pants for casual work days when I did not want to wear my tall Sorrels. I did not like the look of these when they were on me. I felt that they were VERY wide looking, sloppy, and far too casual for my purpose. I also did not think they would be tall enough for Wisconsin snow.

These boots are GREAT! Well worth the price. Even with skinny jeans, the fit was still great and very comfortable. I got these boots to walk the Vegas Strip for New Year's and I'm not disappointed! The color is great. The leather is very nice and the heel is perfect for a lot of walking. I ordered them on Tuesday and they were at my door the very next day. Thanks so much for the great service Zappos. This was my 1st time ordering and it certainly will not be my last!

brown Tootega - As others have said, this boot does make your foot look extra large and wide. The profile is cute though. I'll put up with being bigfoot for the warmth. Chicago winters can get brutal, and this boot is easy on and off when you come and go.

My feet are always cold. These shoes keep my feet warm all day. They are so comfortable, I love them

I LOVE THESE BOOTS!!! These are the greatest boots, I almost pray for bad weather just so I can wear them. It’s like you are walking on a cloud when you have them on. They are just perfect for Winter weather. Rain, Snow, Wind, your feet stay nice and warm and dry. I have short wide feet 7.5 wide and I got 7.5 and they fit perfect. I don’t need socks cause they are lined with the most soft fluffy flees. But plenty of room for socks. And you can’t get any better service then from Zappos

Sorel Tootega - These boots are very comfortable and warm. They fit very well and I personally like the way they look on me. They are a wide looking boot so if you like that look you should go ahead and try them.

Best boot for this winter! This boot is warm, exceptionally made and probably the cutest boot I've ordered this year. True to size. I ordered both the red and the honey. You can't go wrong with this one or with this store. Zappos is by far the best out there!!

LOVE this shoe. Wouldn't wear for true rough "trail" conditions, but happily wear it almost anywhere else. I read the reviews and ordered up by half size and they fit perfect. I ordered the red which is really red-brown. Arch support is not substantial but still nice, cushioning is wonderful.

Heaven for feet - I haven't worn them in the snow yet, but these boots are beyond comfortable and extremely cute.

Not for work - I bought these since I take two buses to get to work and walk a lot. They are like heaven!!! I honestly hate to return them. I now get what everyone was saying about them looking like a duck. They are very wide and I have WIDE feet. I also bought a half size bigger because my mother always told me to buy a half size bigger in boots lol. But I really didn't need it. I was thinking of keeping them for casual wear for the price I need something warm cozy and comfortable to stand in for over 6 hours while I teach!

Love this boot!! I was concerned about width because of the other reviews. I have a wide foot, but a fairly low arch. The boots fit snugly, but perfectly! They are so comfortable and so warm. I can't wait for the cold weather!!

Love these! Really warm, fuzzy and even cute with jeans! These are not streamlined boots- they are wide, but they are great for outdoor winter activities. I took them skiing last year and didn't feel strange wearing them out, but might feel weird wearing them while sightseeing in NYC.

Too tight - so sad - I adore these boots and shopped a long time for them. I finally kept the third pair, a size 8.5 and I usually wear a 7.5. They're still much too tight though. I wear thick socks, but even with thin ones, they bind across the arch. They're so pretty and cozy and I really wanted a stylish, slip-on, warm winter boot. There seems to be quite a bit of variation in the way the innersole fits. It does not have the lovely, roomy toe box the old-fashioned Sorrel Caribou has. I guess I need a men's boot for my wide, falling arches.

Good snow boot - This boot gives me good traction on snow and no ankle slippage in the boot when walking my dogs. Very warm with my everyday Red Wing socks.

Warm feet! I love these boots. They were reasonable, completely waterproof, and although they kind of made me look like I had duck feet at first, I got used to them VERY quickly. Traction could be better on ice, but on snow they're fantastic. Also, I got them in black and they look nice enough that I can wear them as "dress shoes" under my black trousers without anyone noticing! Zappos is amazing! The boots were here in TWO DAYS.

Excellent buy!!!! I absolutely love these boots!!!! I owned a couple of pairs of the Sorel Caribou in different colors...but the Tootega are now my very favorite. I find them a lot warmer than the Caribou; my toes NEVER get cold....and trust me it gets cold in WY....lots of snow here. I find them a bit big around the ankle after tightening them. I wear a 6 ½ and I got my size...and I wear heavy socks and it's fine!!!

Send em back - If you live in the North Pole this is the book for you. Super cute and very warm. I run wide and this boot was a too tight across the arch. Very well made. Heavy looking and makes your foot look bigger then it is. If it was wider I would keep them.

Fantastic! These boots are so cute! I just got them at work and put them on. They are so cozy and warm. I got lots of compliments on them too. Its 7 degrees here in Boston and I can’t wait to test them out on the way home. And I ordered up half a size as suggested which worked out.

Bigfoot sighting in Boston - I haven't even worn these boots out of the house to experience their comfort - and I never will. I took them out of the box, put them on my feet, and was mortified. I read a review about these boots and someone said they made her look like she had duck feet. She is so very right. I looked like I was wearing swimming flippers. Not a good look for anyone. They fit well, they just look incredibly wide - if you're looking to minimize the width of your foot, I would steer clear of these. On the other hand, if you're going for the Harry and the Hendersons motif, these are the shoes for you. Personally, I'm returning these.

The absolute, by far, best boots ever! I haven't taken them off yet! Great in snow, rain and sunny warm days too! LOVE them! Might have to order another pair!

hurrah! These are great! I wear 8.5, I needed to go to a 9 because of the fur lining. I'd say go up an half size if you expect to wear socks. They are comfortably snug with socks in a 9 for me. With that said..AWESOME BOOTS! I never pay full retail for anything nor do I buy things this pricey usually but it's totally worth it! I am so pleased with this brand I already want to get several more styles, maybe once they go on spring markdowns I will. I am VERY picky about shoes and these pass with flying colors. I want to go to the snow now just so I can walk around in them. I also like that they are light weight and easily packed when traveling. Often I don't bring extra boots when traveling simply due to the extra baggage weight and the space some can take in luggage but these should be no problem. I wouldn't be caught dead in Ugg boots outside of the house. These are more stylish.

Really comfortable! Great boots! Waterproof and warm! Perfect for slush or snow. I wore them out in a snow storm and slush and my feet were completely dry!

Great boots - I love these boots. I was apprehensive about spending so much money on them, but so far they have been worth it. They are furry and warm all the way down through the toes unlike most other winter boots. I have a circulatory condition that makes my feet extremely sensitive to cold and these boots have done an excellent job at keeping me comfortable (I’m in Minnesota, so I’m talking about in REAL winter too). The only thing about them I don’t like is that they are a little too short for keeping snow out all the time, and your socks sort of slide down after walking in them a bunch, but overall they are warm and awesome.
