Ordered online, received boots promptly. Sorel advises sizing down since boots are cut large. I stayed with my normal boot size and the Sorel's were tight. I could only wear them with light socks, and they were tight across the top of the arch. Returned - which was fairly easy - and ordered a half size larger. Couldn't just exchange them. Had to return one and order the second size. Replacements showed up and fit worse. Felt liner is much thinner than it used to be, and on the boots I got the felt wouldn't even meet at the top of my arch or my ankle. That means in cold only my sock and the leather tongue protect my foot from the outside temp's. Arch of boot was also tight where the tongue is sewn in. Can't comment on durability. Poor fitting on two pair indicate a quality control problem. If you're going to buy these, go into a store and try them on first. When I called to return the second pair Sorel said there was a return fee. Customer service did agree to waive the fee when I talked with them some more about why I was returning the boots. Pity. I used to lover Sorel's.

I like the boots and went half a size up which fit perfectly lengthwise but the width was very wide both in the foot section and the ankle. This mean they rub as I walk which is a shame.

I ordered down a size, as suggested by Sorel. The boots were way too small. They ARE true to size.

The recommendation was that these run large, and you should order down or stay at normal size. I'm usually a 9 or 9.5 so I stuck with a 9. The length of the boot was WAY too short. My toes were scraping the front of the booth. The width was perfect in the foot, but it was also very very wide in the ankle. It felt like my ankle was unsupported and it made the boots look bizarre on my feet. Overall it was uncomfortable to move in.

I bought a pair that's true to my size and they were still small. I paid to return them and ordered a half size up and they still feel small at the toe but are baggy feeling at the ankle so now I'll be spending more money to return them. I'm terrified to reorder a different style because at this point I feel I'm just wasting money on return fees. I had my last pair of Sorel boots for YEARS and was so excited for a new pair. This style seemed as close as I could get to what I had before but the fit is so disappointing. I don't like that it is an insert bootie vs something that's attached and I didn't realize that when I tried on the first pair. Maybe older styles of this boot were great but the current style isn't for me.

Pretty but no support (fits like a rainboot) and runs small, despite the "Fit Tip" to size down. I'm normally a size 8.5. I ordered a 7.5 and an 8 (per the recommendation from Sorel). I received the 8 first, which was too small length-wise. Width-wise it was huge. It fit like a rainboot would. No suport. No good. These went straight back. Didn't even bother trying on the 7.5, although was charged to return them.

Husband bought this boot round a year ago, works outside shoveling and plowing, and after just a few months of wear, the sole of one boot separated from the boot and he had to have it repaired. Now with less than a month of shoveling again, he has to have the OTHER boots sole reattached to the boot!
Back in the day, we NEVER had issues with our Sorels, never needing repair, and wearing them for YEARS; I am SO disappointed in Sorel current quality, and will not purchase ever again...
Disappointed,

These are cute, but fit at least a full size smaller. I'm an 11 and these felt like a 10. Also, they are probably more appropriate for people who have narrow feet. My toes were squished and uncomfortable. Not for me. Returned.

My normal size (9) was too small, as was the 9.5 which I exchanged the 9 for, but more than that, these boots are just not comfortable. These are great looking, very stylish, but I can't imagine walking around in them.

Loved the look but tried two sizes (my normal size and half a size up) -- both too small, but more than that, these are just not comfortable . I can't imagine walking a mile in them.

I'm surprised by the general consensus that these boots are true to size. Also surprised that the website instructs you to order your normal size. If you click on sizing it says to size down if you're inbetween sizes, which i would not consider the case for me. I wear 12 or 13s. I got these in 12s and they are too big. Other than the size the boots seem great. 2 stars for bad sizing and bad sizing instructions on the site.

I might as well have spent far less money on another brand for the same results! Was supposed to be good on ice, these were HORRIBLE on ice! Not to mention, the sizing on Sorels all differ so I had to order 2 pairs of these along with other styles and multiple sizes because their sizing is all over the place. The only good thing is they're cute. But honestly not worth the money. If you're looking for cute but not practical, here you go. I will NEVER but another pair of Sorels!
If you do buy these, they are true to size and have toe room.

I live in Chicago and bought these last winter. I was really excited to upgrade my boots and these were recommended in several articles. We had a pretty mild season last year and with COVID mostly stayed inside, so this season was the real trial run - oh my goodness, what a disappointment. The second these boots hit snow, they suck up the cold and hang onto it forever. My feet are absolutely FREEZING, it's 9 degrees outside and I'm wearing thick smartwool socks. Do not buy these for serious winter weather, you will be miserable. I wish I could return them.

Nice looks boot, sizing is off. The fit is very wide and slouches out at the middle. I'm always a 9.5 and my big toe rubbed at the tip. It's a return for me. The return option doesn't even give an opportunity to exchange. So now have to send back, wait for my refund and order a new boot. Annoying process

I should have listened to the review that said they couldn't get their foot into the boot. I have high arches (not that high) and it took me a small workout to get my foot into the boot. I bought my usual size and had felt confident from the other reviews. I also have wide calves , which is how I found this style boot (some online lists had rated it excellent for wide calves. it is not). Let me clarify. the cute floof around the top edge doesn't go all the way around and the floof accentuates the wideness of your calf.

I’m usually a 9 and ordered such, very hard to get on at first but loosened quickly. My toes still felt a little cramped but the reason I had to return them is they curved up so much at the toe (which did not change over time) that my feet were at unnatural angles the whole time I wore them. Felt so much relief taking them off. Cute style, easy to lace, and very warm but ultimately my feet don’t curve up at the end.

I really wanted to keep these, but they were too small. They were also next to impossible to get on. Had they been easier to get on, I probably would have exchanged them for a larger size. Still, they looked great and felt pretty warm.

Like some other reviewers, I think the soles of these boots are way too thin. I could feel the edges of my carpet through them and my slippers have more support than these boots. Also, I have a wider-than average foot but can usually wear regular width shoes. However, these were too narrow. And time consuming to put on; they're going back. Too bad, because they're cute and seem like they'd be warm.

The boot is very stiff. It was difficult to get my high arched foot down into the boot, even with all laces loosened. Too uncomfortable to walk in.

I was looking to replace my 12 year old Sorel winter boots which I love but had started to really wear after so many years. People have raved about these boots so thought they would be a good replacement. Not at all! They’re really tight putting them on but once you’re in them, I found my feet moving around quite a bit. They appear to be the right size, it’s just the cut of the footbed. The footbed is just all wrong. The rest of the boot is attractive but that won’t make up for an uncomfortable base.

These are a legitimate snow boot and feel very clunky. I sized up half a size to a 7 which fit nicely in the width but was too short in length, so I sized up again to a 7.5 which fit great in length but then felt too wide. The insulation stitching is also scratchy and rubs uncomfortably on the top of my foot, even with thicker socks. I live in Denver where winters are cold with occasional snow so a warm boot is nice, but I don't necessarily need a snow boot for every day use. These will work when it does snow or visiting the mountains, but I'll be on the lookout for more of a warm duck boot for my needs. Style wise, these look nice, just not as practical or well fitting for my needs.

I was SO disappointed with these boots. I’ve wanted them for a long time-they are so cute! But they are NOT warm or comfortable at all. The snow would surely get inside them too. Returned.

I have been covering these boots for a couple years. I finally bought them and as expected they are so cute! However, they dig in to the back of my ankle so badly. I don't know if it's a matter of breaking them in but they are super painful. And it's not like a rubbing blister type issue it's a more of a thick leather bend of the ankle digging in. This continues despite sick choice and different leasing strategies. It's a lot of $$$ to spend on a pair of boots that I'm not sure I'll be able to wear.
