These boots fall short on warmth. I do not recommend these if you need to keep your feet warm in the winter. I believe these boots actually trap cold air. I couldnt be outside more than 20 minutes without my feet getting cold. Very cute boots, but not very functional.

Really pretty boot with great reviews for style, waterproofing, and warmth. For me, the fit was really snug and unmoving. No flexibility and felt like wearing a ski boot. Not sure if the next size up will help because the current size was tight but loose in the heel. This seems to be a common problem that I wish boot manufacturers would realize.

I'm a size 5 1/2 and have a high arch. It was painful to get the boot on because the area of the arch on the top of the foot was so tight. The reviews said to size down but unfortunately they don't have a size 6 in stock. If you have a high arch size up a 1/2 to full size to be able to get the boot on and wear it comfortably. Customer Service was great about the return and made it easy. I will order both 1/2 and a full size up next season.

I love the look of this boot. However the height of it really constricts the flex of your foot and makes it difficult to walk comfortably. It is also a challenge when driving.

This boot is ok. I looked for a better one but didn't really see anything better. I also tried a few others sorels but this seemed to be the highest quality. The good about this boot is that it is warm and indeed waterproof and meant for handling snow. Just got two feet of snow and feel like I'm in good hands with these boots. The bad is that they are lower in the front (at the 'tongue') then the rest of the boot! And the fur doesn't wrap all the way around the front like it does in the photos. They are also bulky and cumbersome to walk around in. There are slimmer, cuter boots but I will be keeping these and wear them after big snow storms.

I really wanted to loves these stylish boots. I have other Sorels that are all size 8; however my heel slipped quite a bit in these boots and I didn’t feel much support in the arch. Tried using sole inserts and tightening up laces, both to no avail. Sadly, I will be returning this order.

These boots fit really weird. The heel area was too big and then the calf area does not come high enough up to keep you dry in lots of snow ( and I’m only 5’2). I love Sorel boots normally but these just did not work. Exchanging for another style.

Order a full size up. The tongue is too short, and there are no lace holes to close the top fur area. Basically this is a low calf boot, though it looks tall. You cannot walk in deep snow in it.

I'm normally a size 11, sometimes 12. I ordered a size 12 in the hopes of wearing 2 pairs of socks or thick socks.... well they are quite tight on my big toe and just barely fit. Decided to begrudgingly keep them since I tend not to spend a ton of time outdoors in the winter and hate returning things in the mail. Really hoping they break in and give my toes a little more room. I've always wanted a pair of Sorels as they are highly recommended so hopefully they at least will keep me warm.

In WI good boots are a must. I have a pair of the short Sorrels of this style that I wear in cool-mildly cold (30’s) weather when we don’t have much snow, so thought I’d give the taller ones a try for use in deeper snow for shoveling and dog walking. I ordered a size up to accommodate heavy socks. Unfortunately, these were way too narrow for my wide feet with heavy socks. They were not well lined, so socks would be necessary in single digit to below zero temps, or in snow. Also, since the tongue was separate from the rest of the top of the shaft and you have to lace them up, I suspect snow would work its way in and result in cold, wet feet. Cute, but not what I need. Probably good for places that aren’t as cold with as deep snow as we get here.

I returned them. I wanted to love these boots so bad, but I didn't. First off they were super flat, I guess I like/need more arch support. Also, TBH I just felt silly in them. I wear a size 10, so I am used to my feet looking big, but these made me feel silly I felt like one of those skinny girls in the memes with the GIANT snow boots.

Impossible to wear if you have semi-high arches. I have a normal foot otherwise. Top of foot is not high enough; must loosen laces completely to get boot on (then it's still too tight on top)--which makes heel loose.

I had to return them. I wore around house to see how the fit was and my heel slipped badky and it hurt quite a bit. Felt comfortable and warm but way to uncomfortable in ankle.

I normally wear a size 10 and that's what I ordered. Once I got them on, which was no small feat even after untying all the laces and pulling and pushing and sweating and cussing the boots fit as far as the toe box but gapped in the back around my ankles. They were VERY heavy and I felt my legs would be fatigued if I had to walk anywhere in them. The workmanship was gorgeous and I would have liked to like them, but the comfort just wasn't there for me.

i do not love these at all. i refer to them as my "clown boots" because they are so huge in the toe area they look clownish. and they are SO HARD TO PUT ON. they are nothing like my original pair of Sorel's of the same model, but several years old. the boots have gone downhill looks and functionality IMO. probably a mistake to have kept them, but needed them for a trip and ran out of time to get another pair. somewhat regret that given they are not cheap.

The boot is beautiful and I would have given it 5 stars if I didn't have a bunion on one foot. The overall width was ok, but unfortunately the seam to the toe box went right across the bunion. A few millimeters away would have made all the difference. I do not recommend it for anyone with bunions.

Super cute, but pretty stiff in the ankle/calf (even when tied loosely). I got some serious blisters on the back of my legs the first time out for a walk so I have not tried them again. I plan to use them on non-walk adventures for a while and am hoping they get more flexible in time.

I really want to keep these boots, but I have high arch and hardly could get my foot in. Once it is in, the length and width are good. Decided to return them.

I have had these boots for about 3 winters now. They keep my feet warm and dry which is great, but they are so wide! I do not have wide feet, so they feel very clunky when I wear them even with my thick warm socks. I definitely cannot drive while wearing them.

It's a fashionable winter boots. But it's difficult to put on and take off. And it's a bit heavy, not good for wearing it for walking around whole day. But it's nice for heavy snow day.

I was so looking forward to wearing the Sorel boots that my husband got me for Christmas. While the boots live up to their name for warmth and water proofing, getting them on and off is a chore. The turn at the ankle is too narrow - and a sharp edge inside one boot scrapes the skin each time I put them on (I'm not overweight). I would buy Sorel again, but with more caution.

As a longtime owner of Tofino boots, I decided to upgrade to the Joan of Arctics for a warmer and more heavy duty option. Was disappointed to find while warm they are very heavy and difficult to walk in compared to the Tofinos. Additionally, I have been unable to break them in despite repeated wear and they consistently cause blisters. Had hoped for more with this more expensive option.
