They are cute, for snow boots. We’ll see how they do in the snow.

The only reason I am not giving 5’s is because I did that with a more expensive Merrell and ended up sending them back. My initial reaction to these boots (after walking on packed-snow sidewalks in Denver) is that they are great! My last pair of Sorel boots that I purchased many years ago did not keep my feet warm. After walking for an hour in 23 degree weather, my feet were sincerely toasty warm. The new felt liners seem to work well. The only problem was that I have a relatively high arch and slipping them on and off with the elastic band that secures the felt liner was a little difficult ~ if this keeps the heat in, I can deal with that! It is my opinion that no boot is good in icy elements, however, these worked better than previous mentioned “ice” boots. I would definitely recommend.

I love the style and they seemed like they would keep my feet warm. I wear an 8 1/2 in shoes and a size 9 worked well in this boot. The only thing I didn't like was the color. The looked a bit more green than I was expecting, so I ended up returning them.

I’ve been seeing these boots all over this winter (in Michigan) and wanted a pair so bad! Polar Vortex hit and I pulled the trigger. They are so cute! I do find them slightly difficult to put on. I have to stand and push but that’s my only complaint. They look adorable and are super warm! I usually wear an 8.5 but the 9s fit better. They felt roomier in the toe (although I still felt they were difficult to get on). I just wear one pair while running errands but could easily still fit them in thicker or wool socks.

Warm boots, which is just what I needed for this winter. The back of the shaft of the boot, just above the heel, is a little stiff but does not bother (assume it may take a little more time to break into them). Have gotten many complements on these AND are meeting its purpose - keeping feet warm and dry.

I have been eyeing these boots for almost 5 years now & finally took the plunge! I wear an 8-8.5 in normal shoe size BUT the 8 was perfect! I even wear a thicker sock as well so that’s not an issue. Extremely warm & nice because you can tie them up as tight or loose as you would like. Highly recommend if you haven’t bought a pair yet- go for it.

Liked style. Fit fine for 8 1/2. Returned though because decided to high and concerned that if I walked long time would rub on shin.

Very comfortable. Returned for 1/2 size bigger ..normally 8 1/2-- 9 fit perfect with socks. So cute! Wearing on my ski trip. Live in snowy northern mi ---- great boot. Sorel always worth the $$$

I wanted to love these. Perfect toe box but the heel is way too loose for me.

These feel warm! I have a high arch so they are difficult to get on and off, but I suspect this will loosen with wear. They are very roomy in the toe box, and once on they are not tight on my arch. They do look big and kind of “clunky,” so be aware of that.

Got the cattail color in 8.5. They re a gorgeous color, super comfortable. A bit tough to get in and out but I've only worn them twice. My only complaint is that my feet are NOT warm at all. I live in Massachusetts and the weather these past 3 days has been BRUTAL. I've been wearing double thick socks and my feet still freeze. I thought these were meant for super cold weather?

We don't usually have enough snow in Central Maryland to need a boot like this -- BUT, when you need them, you need them! I'd heard a lot about Sorel's so I bought some on sale. They definitely keep the snow and ice out, but you kind of feel like you're wearing some medieval footwear on your feet. I can't drive with these things on, because my foot doesn't move. I kind of clump along like an Alaskan robot. Sigh. It's hard to find a good snow boot. I'm hoping maybe it's just the particular Sorel I bought. I might ditch these and try another pair.

Disclaimer: I don't live in a cold climate but purchased these for when I go to one, so I am not exactly a pro at reviewing snow boots. These are so cute and stylish, but they're a lot! I feel like it would really need to be snowy or these would be out of place. i.e., they're not just a "winter" boot, they are a snow boot. I wear an 8.5 in most shoes and ordered a 9. One of the sewn in felt booties seemed a little short - my toe was touching it, making the boot feel too small, but when looking from the outside my toes had plenty of room within the rubber boot. I assume that would stretch over time and not be a problem. I haven't warn these yet, but I can tell they are very warm compared to other boots I have tried. They are a little difficult to walk in because they're so high on the leg, but are otherwise very comfortable. I ordered the Major color and it is not quite brown, not quite green. I love it!

I was really hoping these beautiful boots would work. Unfortunately my foot is on the wide side and these are too tight. They are beautiful and comfortable though. I wore them through my house a few days to try and break them in but so far they are still too tight. These are a 9 and I normally wear 9 and can wear thick socks with these and still get them on. Just too narrow for comfort.

They felt warm and well made, but really heavy.

I initially ordered a size 10 (I wear a 9.5-10 usually). The 10 was super tight and narrow. Returned them and ordered 11's that fit perfectly.

Way, way too big. Both length and width.

I always wear a 7 but my toe was touching the end of the boot in these. Will have to reorder but the quality is very good so it will be worth the wait.

The fit was true to size as well as the width. Arch support was good too - could use a little more cushion in the sole. After a full day of tromping in and out of stores throught the snow my feet were tired. I love the style!!!! I've been wearing Uggs and while I love them for comfort and warmth the tread is sketchy when it's icy out. I also found that finding ladies snow boots in half sizes is a bit of a challenge - a 7 is just too small and an 8 is just too big. So love that Sorel offers the half sizes.
