Too Big

I bought these boots for one of my rare trips into the snow- this time circumpolar north, in Norway. I like the way they look and that I can put orthotics inside, and that they are not too heavy. After 2 weeks slogging about in snow and slush I can say that they are waterproof and reasonably warm. But not warm enough for long periods of standing outside and honestly they already show signs of wear after only a couple of weeks. I put stretch crampons over them to manage the ice. If I lived in a truly freezing cold place these boots would be inadequate. And I agree with other reviewers who are disappointed at the steep drop-off in the quality of Sorel's boots. They seems to be far more fashion oriented than durable.

I am 5’11” and wear a size 12W/13M. These fit me well, which means they are probably wider for most average women. They don’t have a lot of arch support, but I do like them. The lining does come out and can be purchased separately when they wear out. I’m contemplating getting an insert and putting it under the felt lining for more arch support. These are so warm! I live in Virginia and bought them more for fashion and for the occasional snow days we get. But they are perfect for people who live in super cold areas. As some have said, you do need to adjust the laces when taking them off and putting them back on in order to get your foot in and out. Overall. I’m giving them a 4 simply because I wish they had arch support.

At 68, I am suddenly between a size 11-12. With the felt lining, these are just huge, especially with the added fur at top. Seem very warm, however, and I would still recommend them for someone with smaller feet. I am 5'8" and 150 lbs, relatively thin and these look like I am standing in a boat. But, if you have cold feet, I would go or them!

I'm a size 11 and 1/2 medium. So nothing really looks that cute when your foot is that big. I felt like it definitely runs small because my foot is touching the top even without socks. I kept them because they weren't miserably uncomfortable. You have to really loosen the laces to fit your foot in around the ankle but I'm a big big boned I suppose. I haven't brought them up to ski resort yet to see how warm they will be. But I bet they are. I love the slip on Kamik but they only make men's in my size which are too wide.

Wish these fit but with a slightly narrow foot they are much too wide and large. Have to send them back.

Love these boots I can’t wait for it snow :) Definitely worth the purchase.

These will keep you dry that’s for sure. They are beautiful. Not as warm as I hoped in the snow.

These boots look cute on. They are pretty heavy and clunky, but I kept them since they seemed very high quality and are insulated and waterproof. I got them for playing with children in the snow.

I bought these to replace a previous style of Sorels I had that had worn out. These are plenty cute, but I liked the higher shaft on my previous pair. What brings these down from a 5 to a 4 star rating for me is these are the hardest boots to take OFF that I have ever had. I have lived my entire life in winter climates (New England & Iceland) and I have never had boots that required me to sit down to get them off before, but there’s a first for everything.

I love the snow boots. Although they are a little much to get used to. I felt they were a little bigger than what I thought. They are bulky and heavy as well. But they are very trendy for the winter snowy days.

The overall fit was good. I find that I need to tighten the laces around my ankles for support purposes. My feel were dry and warm during this past Chicago winter as I have a 4 block walk from train to office. I even tried them without thick socks to see how warm the boot was in the zero degree weather and these boots passed with flying colors. Great boot for the price.

I work outside in the snow and my feet were always cold until I got these boots. They are significantly heavier than my previous boots, which I feel is a negative. However, not having cold feet is a big plus. I would not use them to lead a snowshoe hike, but they are good for standing outside directing people.

Warm and stylish, one thing I found strange about these boots is that that the fur does not go around the entire boot -- there is no fur above the laces area. I took these out for a winter walk, and my feet stayed warm and dry. However I ended up with a blister on one of my heels.

Love these boots! They are very stylish and kept my feet warm and dry. They are a snow boot, and as such are not super comfy to spend the day walking in. It is a bit difficult to drive in them. I got them to wear to my kids’ outdoor games when it is wet and cold. I needed something to keep me as warm as my Ugg’s and that I could wear during/after rain and through mud. These did the trick! Would definitely recommend!
