Living in Northern Michigan, you need warm winter boots if you want to enjoy 1/3 of the year. We hike all winter, snow shoe, shovel a lot of snow, go out and play with the dog, and shoot photo/videos for work outside - so I definitely felt like this was a good investment. I've been out on some really cold 3 degree days for hikes, and while the rest of my body was froze, my feet were still moving. The fur isn't going to keep all the snow out, I think some people have commented on that - but it does look great. I absolutely love the look of these boots. One of the best things about Sorel's is that if you get the liners wet from deep snow (or falling in an ice fishing hole haha, i'm only kidding) - you can take the liners out to dry. The only time i could imagine these boots not being warm is if you're trying to use them with wet liners.

So warm! I needed new winter boots and am very happy with these. Kept me very warm and dry during both Patriots football games!

Very stylish, warm boot!! As other reviews mentioned they do run a little large. I ordered a half size smaller and they fit great...had plenty of room for a thick sock. They are a bit on the chunky side compared to other Sorel boots and I felt like they made my feet look really wide but other than that they were a good purchase.

These are very nice looking and well made roomy winter boots. I bought two pairs, one for my daughter and one for me. We are both a solid size 7 and we both were uncomfortable with the sizing and returned them for a full size up. Our experience was while the width had plenty of room in both sizes our toes were uncomfortably close to the end which surprised me based on all of the reviews I read. They worked out quite well for a wintry, snowy, icy vacation and I suspect I'll have them forever!

This snow boot is heavy but cute and functional. My feet were dry and warm in the snow. My regular shoe size is a 7.5 and I ordered a 7.5. Fit perfectly but no room for heavy socks.

It snows maybe twice a year in Richmond, Va but I had to have these boots. They were just too cute. We had our first snow last week and I got to play outside for a bit with my 2-year-old son. They kept my feet toasty and were very comfortable. I wear a 6.5 and ordered a 6.5 and they fit perfectly. I had room enough to wear a winter sock. I did notice that walking through my garage to get into my house, that I could feel that the concrete was colder than walking through snow. Not a deal breaker, certainly still felt warm enough.

I adore these boots! They are surprisingly comfortable for a snow boot and are very, very warm. My biggest complaint is that the fur looks a little scruffy after it gets wet from the snow, not a big deal, just a little annoying.

There is no better brand for warm dry feet. These will withstand the toughest winter.

LOVE the look and style of these boots! They do feel comfortable but are a little big both width and length-wise. But overall love them!

Always interested in how online shopping fit---I agree that these boots are true to size. Often purchase a 9 in a fashion boot(Frye and Born) but went with the 8.5. I wanted to make certain and also ordered the 9...wore both around the house and decided the 8.5 was perfect. Didn't want them too big and they are so warm I would only be wearing one thick smartwool socks anyway! Sundance shows these cute boots with tall scrunch socks and I nailed it from Zappos! Comfortable enough to wear out shopping and not worry about salt stains and flexible enough to hike in the snowy woods. Will wear more than my Columbia Bugaboo boots now.

These boots were Christmas presents for my daughters; they LOVE them! They are true to size, warm, and keep the weather out, whatever it is. They're comfortable too. Zappos is the best! Best prices, easy deliveries and easy returns, if needed. Glad I bought them and kudos to Zappos!

These boots are SO warm and very cool looking too! They keep my feet 100% dry in the snow and wet. Highly recommend! The only thing negative I will mention is you really have to unlace and loosen them to get them off. Otherwise, Perfecto!

I have wanted these stylish boots for a while and finally bought them. Other reviews mentioned they ran large, so as I am in between sizes I order down. I ended up returning for the half size up - a 9.5. I thought they ran true to size and didn't run large. I like my heels a bit smaller than flats, and I ended up keeping my normal flat size shoe.

I ordered these boots in my regular shoe size and they fit fine with enough room for a heavy sock. They are very cute and warm. I always get compliments on them.

This was my first sorel purchase. Loved these boots and they look great . They're super cute and true to size. However, they do look a little wider than I thought.

I ordered these boots for a ski week getaway and I couldn't be happier! They were very comfy, kept my feet warm and dry and kept my clumsy self from sliding all over the place. Friends of ours that joined us on the trip complained that their toes were freezing by the end of a day of snow play with our kids but I was toasty. As with all snow boots they are definitely heavy and slightly cumbersome but I was still very pleased! And they looked really cute in all of our many family photos.

They are exactly what I wanted and the most comfortable pair of boots in my closet. The grey/slate color is great because it can go with so many outfits and the sorels come with so much function along with the fashion. they are so incredibly warm and perfect for Chicago winters.

I usually wear 7.5 or 8 shoes and would normally get 8 for boots but listened to the other reviews and went for the 7.5, they fit well with plenty of room for thick socks too. I've been wearing them in the rain snow and ice as a dog walker and my feet stay warm and dry! I still fell right on my butt on ice, but I don't expect regular winter boots to stop that. Overall these are awesome boots and I hope they hold up for the long haul! :) they're gorgeous as well.

These boots are really warm and great for midwest winters. They could be a little bit more supportive, but I have yet to find a boot this style that is really supportive.

These boots rock. They are too cute and very warm. I have had the opportunity to wear them only once. They were comfortable, fairly easy to walk in, and they keep your feet warm. I have had other boots that were difficult to walk in and these are pretty good in that area. The best part is that they are soooo cute.

Love these boots! Cute and stylish, but warm and great in the snow. These are my second pair of Sorels, and I'm not disappointed.
