I bought these boots for a trip to Austria for skiing. I wore them on the plane and everyday for 10 days. Super comfortable. Warm and easy to walk in. I’d buy these again.

Perfect boots for this cold winter weather. The felt inside gives the warmth need when outdoors for not only your feet but your calves! Of course you will receive lots of compliments- I have purchased other Sorel boots before and these are my favorite. Highly suggest.

I've read the good, the bad, and the ugly on these boots and decided that I had to try them out for myself, especially since I live in an area where we can get a TON of snow. These are WORTH it! I read some complaints about parts of the boots being easily broken, but I think it's worth noting that the top straps of the boots were NOT designed to be used to pull the boots on (They do indeed pop off) other than that, the construction of the shoe is amazing and they are very warm! They do run a bit big, which was a common complaint I read in reviews as well. I ordered mine in a 6, but they could have easily fit a 7. For reference, I wear a 6 in every other pair of Sorel shoes I own. The extra room does make it easy to wear thick socks with it though! If you don't like to do that however, I would recommend going at least a half size down! So excited to have these adorable boots for winter!

Love these boots for cold and wet wintry mornings. I get lots of compliments on them and my feet stay warm and dry! Not sure I would do any big hikes in them (they are heavy), but are perfect for what I use them for!

These are very cute snow boots. Very warm. However, stiff when walking and flexing your feet. They keep my feet warm and dry. I like to wear them to work without changing but they are quite bulky. After reading reviews, I was very confused on which size to buy. I normally wear a size 8.5 to 9 in dress shoes and a size 9 - 9.5 in tennis shoes. I wear a size 40 in Dansko. A size 9 ended up fitting best for these boots. I get lots of compliments on them. I really like them and would buy more colors if they weren't so expensive.

I ordered "black 2" because I live in NYC and the snow is really pretty and white for 5 minutes; then becomes filthy and I didn't want the color to be ruined by the dirty snow! I loved having these boots this winter. They are great in snow and ice. And especially good on days when it's like half snow/ half rain; and there's ice/slush/water puddles on the ground. These have great traction and kept my feet so warm and cozy. They never felt too heavy (I mean they are boots so they have a weight to them) and the materials are really nice, so my calves and ankles never felt irritated. I have pretty narrow feet so these are a touch wide for me, but paired with thick socks, these are absolutely perfect. HIGHLY recommend. Would definitely buy again, but don't think I will need to for a while- these are built to last at least a few years.

Love these boots!!! I had been dying for a pair of Sorel's and these boots did not disappoint! The fit was great and they were comfortable! The first time I wore them, I walked close to 3-4 miles in them and was surprised how great they were to walk in. No blisters...no sore feet! Kept my feet nice and warm too (I bought these for a trip to Boston). If you are thinking about buying these, BUY THEM!! You won't regret it!!
Also, Zappos customer service has probably THE BEST customer service of any company I have encountered. Which is why I recommend them to everyone and buy all my shoes from Zappos. Zappos takes care of their customers!!

These are my absolute favorite boots. I live in Utah, and we get a lot of winter weather. These are nice and warm, waterproof, and still stylish. I wear them everywhere. I love that I don't have to try to avoid puddles or snow when I'm out and about (i can really only wear my Uggs on dry days). They look just as good at the end of the season as they did at the beginning. I did not find them to be too big or too heavy, as some reviews stated.

These are cute but wide. They are the only boots I feel comfortable enough to wear on the ice. I've walked around Colorado in the winter, being pulled by my pointer, and so far no ice acrobatics! They're very warm.

I've wanted a pair of Joan of the Arctics for years! When I saw these last fall, I knew they were the ones. I love the black suede and gold hardware with the contrasting sandy colored fur, the boots are neutral but these cool details make them look really special. I wore them for the first time for an entire day of walking around, running errands, getting dinner, etc. and they we comfortable from start to finish--no breaking in necessary!
In terms of sizing, I have a few pairs of Sorels in different sizes, but decided to go with my true size (11) in these. If I were to wear a thick wool sock, they would probably feel snug in the toe, but fortunately that's not necessary with the liner and my somewhat warmer mid-East Coast winters. Overall, I love the comfort and style of these boots, and I'm so glad I finally got them. Highly recommend!

This boot is a cute warm option for tough winter weather. Observations: When I first picked up the boot I was surprised at how heavy it was. They are very warm and thickly insulated. Something I would change in the appearance would be to make the toe area less bulky looking- I prefer a more delicate feminine look especially for my larger shoe size. I had to return because I was hoping the 8.5 would fit (as it does half the time for me) and 9 was not available. They were definitely too small and I wasn't event wearing winter socks at the time.
