Great boots, very warm, order 1/2 size up

I love these boots!! I spend my weekends on the hockey rinks watching my son play and my feet were always freezing (except for when I wore my uggs, but I only wear those on cold dry days otherwise they get ruined really quickly). Anyway, for snowy, slushy, and wet Boston winter days these are perfect! I was sitting in them for an hour and my feet were nice and warm. I wore them outside to go sledding and my feet were the only ones to stay warm and dry. I walked in a foot of snow and my feet did not get wet and the snow did not get in the boot. Recommend 150%!!!! I did order 1/2 size down and they fit perfectly with a thicker sock and without.

I have yet to test the boots in the snow. I have had a pair of Sorel Caribou's since the 90's that were great but the inner lining started to fall apart. I was looking for something similar. These Joan of Arctic boots fit great with my medium width feet and thick socks. I ordered up a half size (9) but then my heel was slipping, so I reordered in my regular size (8.5) and they fit great. Super warm, comfortable support, my only complaint is that the laces slip as you are trying to tighten them, so you really have to pull hard to get them laced up.

I LOVE these boots! They fit so well - they feel like a hug on your foot! I have bought cheaper boots in the past, thinking they would be sufficient, all I needed was to keep my feet dry in the snow. However, not only do these keep your feet dry, but nice and toasty! Definitely worth the splurge!

I purchased these 1/2 size larger than the size 8 I measure to make up for my wide feet. The fit is perfect and I’m able to wear socks with them! I use any excuse to wear them.

Very cute winter boots! They have great tread on the bottom. They can be a little hard to slip on, but once your foot is in, they fit great. Shoelaces don’t stay tied up very well but that is easily replaceable. Overall, great boots! I bought them in the olive color and they’re very cute in my opinion.

Based on reviews and product information I ordered these a half size larger than my normal size 10. They were so large and wide I could not walk in them. They even looked humongous. More like men's boots! Seemed very well made and warm for the short time I had them on my feet. Definitely a heavier clunkier feeling boot. Disappointed that the front tongue of the boot does not go all the way to the top, so snow could potentially fall into the boot.

I normally wear a 9-10 wide shoe and ordered the 9.5 on clearance. It fits snug and I am unable to wear thick socks with the boots yet, but I am hoping once I break the boots in, they will fit even better. There are random seams in the boots that can rub when they are worn for extended periods of time. Overall the boots are very stylish, well made, and warm. I am sure the boots will only get more comfortable with time!

I knew I'd be wearing them with thick socks so I ordered 1/2 size bigger than I would normally get when buying boots. They kept my feet warm and is indeed waterproof. My only concern was weight. It was quite heavy to walk around them especially going uphill.

Very warm I love them , the only thing I do not like it’s how heavy the could be. But they’re perfect for this cold weather

Ok, first let me just say I love these boots. I live in Maine and we have brutal winters, but I still love to be outdoors. I had a pair of the older style of Sorel "Cate The Great" boots for 12 years and never had cold feet. If they still made the old version of that boot I would have purchased it. The Joan of Arctic was the next best option. When they first arrived I was impressed at how nice the color was (Nori), and the quality of the construction is excellent. The boot was true to size for me- I wear and 8.5 and the 8.5 fit perfectly with enough room for a thicker sock. The boot is bulky (but still stylish), but I am used to it and love that my feet are never cold, though I think some may find it too bulky. I do spend a lot of time outdoors and so far these boots have been absolutely perfect- it was 0 degrees this morning and my feet were toasty when I went out to take care of my horses. I highly recommend this boot for anyone who wants toasty, stylish yet functional winter footwear.

Great boots, so warm and waterproof!! Only drawback is they are a little difficult to put on. Have to loosen all the laces and pull on the straps, then rebuckle straps after pulling them off. But overall, good boot.
