I love these boots! The classic style never goes out of fashion and they are comfy and warm in the coldest weather.

There is no question in my mind that Sorel makes the best boot in the world when it comes to keeping the feet warm. I'm on my second pair, I bought my first 25 years ago and they have served me well.

Every year or two, I had to replace new snow boots for previous one but after I've gotten Sorrel's Caribou snow boots in Montreal, I don't have to do so, excelleint wridge on the bottom, warmth inside and looks very stylish and the most of all, it is very comfortable to wear for long time not like others given some pain or promble or part of its bottom dissapeared... You got to purchse it cause you are going to love it and keep it for long time. Am I smiling or what?!

My new Caribous arrived yesterday and so far they're perfect! They even kept my feet very warm during our 20 degree blustery evening out last night. I usually wear a size 8 shoe, but after reading reviews, I decided to order a size 7 and I'm so glad I did. With the liner and a pair of thick wool socks, they fit perfectly. Without the liner, they are a bit roomy, but can be adjusted by adding an extra pair of socks. So if you are wondering what size to order, order down instead of up. They are also quite a wide fit. I plan on wearing these for many winters to come!

I received my Sorel Caribou boots two weeks ago, and absolutely love them. These are serious boots, that I think I will own for a lifetime. They DO run large, that is for sure. I am a true 9.5, so based on other reviews, I ordered a 9. They are still big on me - WITH the liner in. However, once I put on a pair of thicker wool socks, they were fine to walk in. Still bigger than other shoes and boots that I own, but they work. In fact, it's nice to have such warm boots on, and still be able to wiggle your toes. They're much heavier than I expected too... however, despite this, they are still VERY comfortable. We haven't had a big snow here in Wisconsin yet this year, but I wore them on a cold day last weekend while walking dogs for two hours at the Humane Society, and my feet and legs felt great afterwards.

This is a classic boot that can be seen on the feet of many in MN. You just can't beat the durability. The liner may be tight, but the design is intentional and essential in keeping in the heat. My feet stay warm in subzero temps for an hour . When planning to stay in subzero temps for hours on end, I insert hand/foot warmer packets and it works like a charm. Snowmobiling, sledding, ice fishing, winter bonfires, or just treading through snow-ridden shopping mall parking lots. Early in the season I wear these boots without the liners, otherwise they are too hot. The tread and the laces are both equally durable. I expect that I will never have to buy another winter boot.

They run a bit big so if your in a half size get the smaller size. Super comfy and warm. They will last forever.

I have used the Sorel Boot in the past for cold climate foot wear, hence, I know that the Sorel Boot is tops for comfort in extreme cold weather. I am very pleased with my purchase, and, with cold weather on the way, intend to use them to the hilt. I ride the commuter trains to my place of work, and, there are long waits on the train platform in an exposed area. These boots will make all the difference during the cold winter months where I live.

My mom has owned a pair of theis boots for 22 years, she got them back when we lived in Montana. The only difference is hers are completely white. They have held up for the years and i love them, she loves them and the comfort they still have. I was so excited to find out they still sell the boots because i wanted a pair simular. I highly recomend this to anyone who lives in or will travel to snow anytime. they are the best investment my mom made for snow equitment.

Ordered a pair of these for my husband. I've had a pair for years (and they still look new.) We live in snowy cold country and my feet have never been cold in these boots. Super comfy and hefty for hiking through the woods. Love 'em!

This actually the 2nd pair that I have owned. I have not actually used the new ones yet, but having lived in Park City for almost 10 years before moving to Southern California I essentially lived in my Sorels for 1/2 the year! I think they are fantastic. They always kept my feet warm and dry whether I was at the resort or running from bar to bar up and down Main St. I am now back living in Utah and look forward to logging many more adventures in my new Caribou!

I recently moved to the upper part of MI, on Lake Michigan. I felt after 20 years I deserved a new pair of Sorels. Even though my old ones were broken in but just like new. I have survived the cold and snowy winters of CO, NY, and now MI. I searched high and low to find them. Finally found a store in our small town that carried them. Only to find out that their shipment of Caribou's would not be coming because of a fire in the factory. The store was nice enough to size my foot, (hey, it had been 20 years). I ordered my new Sorels on the internet. Wonderful, helpful website! I was so excited when they came. They fit perfect. I see a change in the bottom traction of boot. It has large bumps that make ridges. I'm sure they will have the same if not better traction as my old boots. Snow should be here any minute, my new Sorels are waiting, nothing warmer or cozier out there!!!

I got this Caribou for my wife and she loves it. Its really warm and comfortable. It is quite roomy inside but that works out great for the thick socks. It`s kind of bulky otherwise these boots are great!

THIS IS MY 4TH SEASON WITH MY SORELS AND THEY LOOK AS GOOD AS THE DAY IT WAS DELIVERED. I HAVE YET TO WEAR A PAIR OF SOCKS WITH THEM AS THEY ARE SOOOOO WARM. YOU COULD WALK THRU DEEP INCHES OF SNOW WITH THESE BOOTS. THEY ARE A MUST HAVE FOR THE WINTER, ESPECIALLY WHEN THERE IS A LOT OF SNOW TO SHOVEL. THE RIDGES ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BOOTS HAS GREAT TRACTION, AND THERE HAS BEEN NO EVIDENCE OF SLIPPING AND FALLING IN THEM. IT IS WELL WORTHE THE PRICE, SO DON'T CHEAP OUT!

I'm anxiously waiting for snow so I can try out my new boots! They're really comfortable and cute. The sizing is perfect. I like the idea that new liners can be ordered once these wear out instead of having to buy new boots. I'm hoping these will last for many years.

u should really consider selling the original liners as replacement liners....instead of the flimsy replacement liners u sell now. I would buy a couple pair a yr...if u did!!!!

I still have a pair of these from 25 years ago that are in great shape, original caribou from back in the day and I still love them. I just bought a new pair that has the chocolate brown upper and actually fit me better (I bought the old pair a size too big at the time because they didn't have my size).
I use these boots up on the mountain and on weekends in the winter and couldn't live without them.

Ok these boot rock but was bummed when they were so big that they made me feel clumsy.
I wear an 8 or 8 1/2, but the final size that worked for me was a 7. I know that I will have these boots forever. They are here to stay. They have a classic look but somehow always feel trend right. LOVE them...now it"s the true test.WINTER in JERSEY LOL. Can't wait to make snowmen and throw snowballs at my husband!!! AHHHHHHH. Love you Sorel.

These boots are great. Comfortable, warm, durable at a reasonable price. We had 3 big snow storms last year and our old Sorel boots were great. Bought a new pair for myself and my wife. The 15 year old Sorel boots we have similar to the Caribou are still great, just thought it was time to splurge for some new ones. These feel better.
One thing I would change is to get them in half sizes for the optimal fit.

These were my first pair of boots that lasted 12 years. Finding them in the stores around here are very far and few between. The key is to order them early through the Sorel webite, otherwise they sell out fast for the season. My wife has had hers for 14 years. We will definetly come back to the website when she is due for another pair. They are the best snow boots made.

I haven't had a pair of Caribou's since i was a wee lad; it's probably been about 25 years or so. I just got my new pair in and even though the snow hasn't fallen i have them waiting by the door for the white stuff. After trying them on they were so comfortable and perfect for New England winters to come.
Keep up the great work.

I love my Caribous. While they do run a little large, there's no warmer boot out there. These boots never fail to keep my feet warm and dry. Their classic, timeless design makes me feel confident that they'll always be in style; just look at how many imposters are out there with cheaper, less functional versions of boots that kinda try to look the same. Also, it's awesome that Sorel.com sells fresh liners... makes them feel like new again.
