Fabulous Sorel Caribou boots. Have owned a previous pair and wore them for ten plus years. True to size and warm, with great traction.

It's great that the style of this boot is timeless because the quality of construction will last a lifetime of winters. I ordered a half size larger since I double up on socks in the snow and the boot fits perfectly.

Love. This winter will be my first winter on the east coast, and while many don't think this California girl will last, I'm confident that with these boots I'll be just fine. When searching for the perfect winter boot, I initially ordered the Ugg Belcloud and Belfair, both water repellent Uggs, but both were nearly twice the price of the Caribous and can't boast the same durability that Sorel can. Also, I am typically a size 6, but I ordered a size 5 and there's still plenty of room for a thick sock. I love that they are big and chunky - I plan on wearing them with skinny jeans/leggings and oversized sweaters and jackets. While they don't have much arch support, I don't imagine I'll be trekking long distances in my Caribous. Can't wait for the first snow so I can wear them already! First of all..Zappos rules. That's the fastest time I've ever received ANYTHING. Ordered them yesterday afternoon and by today at noon they were at my door. The boots are pretty awesome too; they will come in handy up in North Dakota. Very comfortable. I like the furry part up top because it doesn't rub up on my leg. These look very durable and they are also waterproof. They are kinda chunky... but that's what makes them so good for winter weather I guess. I love them. I'm kinda picky but I can tell I love these and I will prob buy some more of these soon, just a different color.

I have a U.S. size 8.5 EEE foot. I ordered the size 8 of this model. A touch snug with thick sock at first, but wearing it around apartment to break it in a bit for 2 evenings and the boots are PERFECT. Size 9 would definitely be too big. Felt liner seems to give a bit and adjust to foot somewhat. Boot leather feels great out of the box--not stiff. Preliminary impression is these are exactly what I hoped for.

The boots were a requested gift for an adult son who in spite of skiing in the Sierra Nevada all his life and going to college in snow country had never had them. Everyone else in the family did. He loves them and at 47 this is probably his first and last pair. They are perfect.

Great boots. After owning a pair for 30 years I bought these as a Christmas gift for my son-in-law. He did not request them. He has worn them shoveling, sledding with the kids and to several outdoor sporting events. He is now the new inventor of Sorels shoes! I think these are great boots and a great gift for young people who may not spend the money on them but would get more use out of them then they would imagine.

Bought these boots for my son in Massachusetts for Christmas. He wore them all day at a ski resort in New Hampshire. Said they were very comfortable and his feet never got cold all day.

Overnight just like they said. Great boots, incredibly warm, great price. Nothing more to say except I have never been disappointed with Zappos!

These seem like great boots, but were a full size larger than my shoe size. Zappos is currently out of what should be the right size for me.

Very warm but my feet don't overheat even after miles. Well made, very comfortable and lightweight for the size. I couldn't be happier with these boots. I wear size ten, but since Sorel boots seem to run a bit big I purchased a nine and they fit just right.

My husband had to fly to Denver during their recent snow storm. His snow boots were missing. I placed an order with Zappos and the shipped his new Sorels to his hotel up on the hill. Awesome customer service!

Good looking boot and comfortable, but the shaft circumference was WAY TOO LARGE for me. I wouldn’t describe my calves as small and usually boots are too tight for me, but I’m going to have to send these back.

Hard to find Sorel in Dark Brown - I must say Zappos wowed me!! I ordered a pair of boots for my husband and found a pair of Sorel's for me that everyone else was sold out of- I called them while placing my order online to see if I could get faster shipping and they took care of me 100%- They upgraded my shipping to overnight at no charge.. I will buy from them again...Thanks.

Perfect - The boots work perfect. They are insulated and comfortable for the cold weather. They are great!

I have always been impressed with the customer service at Zappos. They are second to none! A ski shop 100 miles away shipped my initial pair, which I ordered for a ski trip. The boots left OK (100 miles away) and traveled to KS, MS, TN and LA. Once they arrived at the local post office, it took a few more days before home delivery. We were halfway through our week long ski trip before the boots arrived (almost two weeks from the day they were ordered). One day into my ski trip, I thought of Zappos. They not only had the boots at a better price but shipped them to Angel Fire, NM overnight in a snow storm. Thank you Zappos. YOU are the BEST!!

I will never buy another pair of Sorel anything. The boots fit just fine, they just didn't hold up. They literally fell apart. Literally. They had been worn twice and stored with the rest of my winter boots and shoes so nothing unusual there. The bottom came off in my hands. I wrote a very nice letter to the company and in return received a coupon...which I didn't want. The last thing I will ever do again is buy this product.

I too live in Minnesota. I got these boots as a replacement for a pair of Sorel Mavericks. The Mavericks were just getting broken in, when I started noticing wet feet! The seams on both boots had cracked! Zappos was very good at letting me replace them. I then got a pair of Caribous, the Caribous look awesome, and once I started to wear them I noticed arch pain in both feet (Note: I wore them...not to the mailbox or the grocery store...over the river and through the woods wore them). So, there was arch pain, and I noticed the heels are hollow, and need some type of extra padding (I had a pair of old Sorel Trappers that I had worn for 22 years, took them apart and discovered a foam rubber heel pad, which the Caribous seem to be missing). So I made a similar pad, and that was working great. They were comfortable, warm, and I had great traction for the up and down hill climbs, when I noticed the rubber on the right toe had started cracking. I could feel a flaw inside the boot at the site of the crack. I love the boot, the style and the traction, but the rubber, as with the Maverick (same style sole) cannot be trusted. I don't know which way to go now (boot wise)!

Bought this for my boyfriend. He likes them, and they are waterproof, however, they are rather heavy... so if you are a commuter, prepare for a leg workout!

My husband hasn't worn these yet except to try them on, but he says they fit true to size and seem comfortable and warm.

Back in the day, I lived in Sorels when I worked at a CO ski area, and the Caribou was the de rigeur footwear of choice. So, I was a bit disappointed they're no longer made in Canada, which kinda rained on my trip down memory lane. That said, these are still toasty warm in the coldest of conditions, and you feel invincible in these bad boys when out shoveling the driveway. They're a bit stiff out of the box and size feels about right, if not a little snug. I definitely need only a thin sock with the heavy felt liner. No half sizes, so I'd go a half size down unless you work in them and you're planning on wearing heavy socks.

Bought these for my husband, and he LOVED them! They're HUGE boots, but they'll keep his feet warm for years to come. The lining comes out, and I believe it can be washed, which is great. Good purchase and good investment. Have yet to test them out, but winter will be here before we know it!
