Great boots.... If you live in cold climates,I highly recommend the Caribou. Well built, as always, unsuppressed quality. If you're gonna get these boots, I recommend purchasing from the manufacturer only. Lots of knock offs on other sites, old models and designs etc. Thank you Sorel!!!! You can get away with 1/2 size smaller if desired. I wear thick socks with mine in the snow.

We definitely needed to go a size down, but the return process was super easy

The first time I wore these boots was for several hours around inside our house. They were comfortable from the beginning. Once we had a few inches of snow I went out and walked a mile in these boots. Again very comfortable and they kept my feet warm and dry:) Construction looks to be excellent. I bought a half size larger than I usually would in boots to allow the wearing of thick socks when needed. Very happy so far.

I needed a good boot for my Sunday Ski Patrol duty. These boots are great. The sole grips really well on snow and ice. I would recommend these boots to anyone for sure.

I slipped and broke my tailbone during the first ice storm this winter. Bought these Caribou boots and do not feel scared about walking outside at all. They're heavy with great grip on the bottom. I did order what size I usually wear, but found them to be a size too big. A super easy return process and got a pair that fits!

These boots keep my feet warm as I run errands in the day and hiking through the woods in -10F weather, and feet of snow. I usually wear a 7.5 in boots, but needed a 7 in these. They run a little bigger than your regular shoe. Overall it's a great product and I look forward to my afternoon snowy hikes now that I know my feet will be warm the whole time.

These are incredible snow boots! I recommend all Sorel boots to anyone looking for quality! True to size!

After seeing a similar pair of boots on a Hallmark Christmas Movie (Yes! Lol), I found this equivalent. But these are actually even better! They will keep your feet toasty warm and they are so cute with a pair of black leggings & a cute sweater! Some reviews mention that they are heavy. When I first put them on, I noticed a difference - sure, compared to my other shoes. But after a few test runs, you get used to them and don't even notice it. I would definitely recommend these not only from a practical/functional standpoint but a stylish one as well. Enjoy!

I bought these Caribou's as a replacement for my previous pair that are 12 years old and completely worn out since I wear them every single day during our 4/5 months of winter. I got great use out of my old pair and was happy to see that the new ones are just as well made and comfortable as the old. I will warn buyers that they are a bit tight at first and they take a few days to loosen up and break-in but once the do, your feet will stay toasty warm and you won't be slipping on ice as easily as you would with many of the other common winter boots. I normally wear a 6.5 but ordered a 7 because I wear thicker boot socks.

This is my second pair of the Caribou boot. After 10 years with the caramel color I felt like an update so I bought the black pair. The 10 year old pair was still in great shape, I just wanted a new color. These boots are amazingly warm because of the wool inner boot that can also be replaced (this is also what makes the boot run, for me, a half size small). Totally water proof. If you're looking for a boot for cold northern winters, this is an excellent option. Because they are a little bulky they aren't the easiest boot to walk long distances in. I keep two pairs of winter boots, the Caribou for more intense weather and another pair for lighter weather/easier walking. It does also annoy me slightly that the wool boot sometimes comes out with your foot when taking off the boot. It's not a design flaw and this is what makes the boots so warm so I think it's worth it. Overall for such a heavy duty boot I also think it's pretty cute. I actually wish I'd kept the caramel color pair to have along with the black!

Boots are warm to wear in long periods of cold weather. Very stylish yet practical to wear.

I bought these for my husband and he is extremely picky. He has such a hard time finding shoes that really are comfortable and fits his foot. They are just slightly bigger than his normal 9.5 but not enough to send back. They are perfect for a thicker sock and just fine with a thinner sock. He really loves them.

Been thinking about getting some Sorels for a long time. I'm glad I did. Now we just need some snow and cold weather so I can test them. They are very comfortable so far.

I'll start by saying I typically wear a size 10 women's shoe, and after reading the reviews on this product I decided to order a 9.5. I'm glad I did! They fit perfectly with just enough room to fit thicker socks. These boots do look a little large, sort of clown shoe-esque, and are a little heavy, but the boots are so warm and kept my feet dry while hiking around the woods at the cabin in about 20" of snow. I had read reviews of the boot liner always coming out, and while it does displace slightly when I slide the boots off, it's super easy to put back in place, so I don't see a problem there. My one complaint would be that the lining of the boot doesn't quite wrap around to close at the front of the calf. When we got back to the cabin I had a pretty compacted snowball in the gap of the liner at the front of my shin. I wish the liner went further around the calf, but I would also say that probably wouldn't have been a problem had I been able to keep the top of the boot above snow level which is why I'm still giving these boots a 5-star rating! I can't wait to wear my Sorel's for years to come, and will most likely be buying my next pair from Sorel as well.

For years I have watched my mom lavish myself and my family with gifts and not justify fulfilling a dream she has had for over 30yrs for a brand new pair of Sorel's for herself. Until recently she would not allow us to buy her presents because she didn't feel we were financially stable enough to do it. However my family has always trusted sorel's for our winter footwear. As she walks my son's (her grandsons) to their bus stop she complains of cold feet as my boys declare theirs are toasty and reminding grandma she should get Sorel's like they and our family have. So this year our whole family decided we need to give her these boots for Christmas and prayed she would not deny receiving them. She opened them today and cried tears of joy. She truly received them and for the first time in 36yrs my mom allowed herself to be lavished. She hasn't removed the boots since she opened them and proclaimed she will sleep with them. We are very cold here in MN and she was toasty as she played with her grandchildren and trust she will be toasty for years to come. We are happy with this purchase and want to thank Sorel for making a 70 yr old hero of ours winter dream come true. Happy Holidays!

These are great boots. Definitely ones to wear for winter walking and hiking in heavy snow. They are not light-weight my any means, and that was expected. The sherpa liners give them extra insulation and a good look. They run true to size and are what we call "Life-time Boots".

I've only tried them on. Hasn't been cold enough yet to actually wear them. I got these to wear as a hunting boot to help keep my feet warm. They are a little snug, not sure if I'll be able to wear a thick sock with them.

The Caribou boots were spot on! Not only did they fit true to size but look really cute and are amazing for cold winter weather and snow. First snow boots I've owned where my feet stay dry and warm! Very happy with this purchase.

These boots were given to me as an early Christmas gift and I love them. They are very warm, high quality boots that are perfect for the crazy weather on the east coast. I would highly recommend them. They are stylist as well.
