I do not have arch issues (I actually have very good arches), but I actually have a different and overall worse set of problems. I have low volume feet and weak foot structure, causing my ankle to collapse downward upon impact each step. This results in knee pain, poor balance, etc. I have custom orthotics that correct this by providing angle and structure that my foot does not have. However, those custom orthotics do not work well in all shoes. For example, in my dress shoes, I get a lot of heel slippage. I have two pairs of these sole insoles. They are relatively thick, so they help to fill the shoes I put them in. Since I have low-volume feet, I generally have a lot of space leftover in all of my shoes. The support these insoles provide is great. I use them in running shoes and dress shoes. If you have higher volume feet, I may hesitate from buying these, as it may add too much volume to your shoe. Sole sells thinner insoles which should work if these do not. To sum up, here are the pros: - great support - can be heat molded (but do not have to be) - can be trimmed easily with scissors to fit a particular shoe - much less expensive than custom orthotics - add to the volume of the shoe, which is useful for people with low-volume feet (potentially a con) Honestly I do not really have any cons. If you are like me and need some kind of support in shoes, and your orthotics do not fit or work in though shoes for any reason, try these out.

SOLE insoles are simply the best. I now hate to wear shoes or boots that don't accommodate them. I like their thicker ones for hiking boots and the thinner ones for dress shoes. If you have high arches, you need SOLEs!

The SOLE Softec Ultra insoles provide excellent arch support. I have low arches and prefer strong/aggressive arch support. These fit perfectly in my walking shoes and feel great. They're even better than the very costly custom-made orthotics I got from a podiatrist. The arch support in these insoles is comparable that provided by Orthaheel's Tide flip-flops. Best of all, my plantar fasciitis is nearly gone. I didn't need to modify this pair, but the moldable feature is a plus. I highly recommend SOLE insoles and plan to buy more! Thank you, Zappos!

Great product! If your shoes allow for the depth of these inserts you will be pleased. My flat feet appreciate the arc support and the foam used in the base is a good rebounding material. I tried just one to see how they would work for me and then ordered three more for my shoes - from hiking boots to tennis shoes and loafers.

I have plantar fasciitis and the sole inserts were like a breath of fresh air for my feet. I can walk without hobbling again. Thanks, Zappos.

I've been wearing these inserts since an athletic trainer recommended them five years ago when I had a bad case of shin splints. Now I replace them every time I buy new running shoes (every 300 miles). I know they seem pricey, but they are well worth it to save your feet. Once you compare these to the flimsy insoles that come in your shoes, you'll be angry at the shoe manufacturer. These have great cushion and great support. I'm a 50-year-old woman and regular runner and I have no physical issues, which I attribute to buying quality gear. I would say the arch support is very firm, which I like, but my husband had a little difficulty adjusting to them. It's definitely a good idea to put them in your shoes and wear them around the house to break them in before going running for the first time.

The best insoles you can get! I've tried insoles from various other brands with varying success. They have all had at least one flaw that has lead me to try another brand. I work 12hr shifts in an industrial facility on hard brick and concrete floors so these insoles get a workout. Not once since I tried these insoles have I come home with my feet aching like I used to in the past. I have a bone spur and suffer from plantar fasciitis. Since wearing these my symptoms have gone away and I have absolutely no pain anymore. I now have a pair of these in almost every pair of shoes I own and I couldn't be happier. It is so nice to go hiking, or walking around all day and not have to worry about my feet hurting anymore. Also these insoles hold up very well. They have lasted me at least twice as long as any of my previous insoles. I literally can not say enough good things about these insoles.

I have very high arches, wide toes, and narrow heels. These insoles are comfortable and supportive for my "Birkenstock-shaped" feet. They provide more arch support and softer, more comfortable heels than Superfeet.

Having plantar fasciitis these insoles help tremendously. Although I purchased this particular insole for my rain boots as one previous customer recommended they were best for boots. She was right! Too thick for shoes. Very satisfied.

Great product and great service getting them to me. From my order, it was only a few days until delivery. The Sole Softec Ultra is what Army doctors gave my in Iraq for my foot problems. The problems went away. Once I got back and got custom orthotics, the problems came back. I through those put and ordered these. Zappos had the best price I could find and their service was great.

I bought this insoles to play tennis. I now have two pairs. Before I was wearing Dr.Scholls Custom fit 440, but was not happy with the fact that it only covers part of my foot.
I needed the extra arch support as my feet were very sore after playing tennis. It got to the point that it was painful. I then decided to visit a doctor who asked me to buy the Dr. Scholl Custom Fit inserts. They work great, but there is something about the SOLE with the custom fit that has made me a believer.

Just what the doctor ordered! My son is an active teen who can't slow down to heal. These gave him the comfort he needed. The actually mold to the foot after a few minutes in the oven. Genius!

I like these so much I have put a pair in all my shoes, dress, hiking, workout. I tired others, these were the best support and comfort. I do have rather high arches.

I have very high arches so I put these in my sneakers I work out in (aerobics, walking, cross-training) and use for physical therapy (tendinosis and a calf sprain). They work very well and I've noticed a difference in my arch support. I did not heat them up in the oven as some suggested not to do for high arches. No complaints here!

Great upgrade over standard insoles. Lots of arch and mid-step support. Be aware that it raises your foot height in your shoe/boot about an eighth of an inch, so make sure you have the room to spare.

These were exactly as I wanted them to be. An inexpensive alternative to a custom orthotic. They were easy to mold and fit in my shoe great. I do have a wide width and they fit great. May have to trim for a B width shoe. I wore them the first day with no problems and every day since. I have bought more for other shoes.

These are the best. I have them in all my shoes, expensive, but a lot less than medical bills and a lot better than the pain. Very comfortable and very effective for pronation.

I had high hopes for these and bought my sister and I each a pair. Hers worked great but for me, the arch support was too far forward on my foot (my foot felt like it was 'falling' off the insole). Note: at the time I hadn't heard you could put them in the oven (maybe?) to remold them -- that might have corrected my problem. I switched for the Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx and have been satisfied.

I have very high arches and a particularly severe flare-up of plantar fasciitis right now. The Sole Softec Ultra provides great arch support and cradles my heels well. These really need to be used in shoes where you can take out the original insoles. These work great in my Saucony running shoes but they raise my heel up enough in my New Balance cross-trainers, even with the original insoles removed, that the shoes slip up and down on my heel.

I have worn custom made orthopedic inserts for 10 yrs because of plantar fasciitis and a Morton's neuroma. Decided to try these to see if they came close and also because reviews were so good. I removed the insert that goes with a pair of Comfortview loafers and inserted this SOLE one instead. Perfect fit-- tough to get in actually because the fit was so tight. Since my feet are naturally 'hot' I decided to wear the inserts without going through the oven routine. Worked pretty good. I was on and off my feet for about 4 hours. (VERY glad to put my Orthaheel Tide Sandals back on when I got home, though! Best foot bed made for arch support) This insert worked for me to get by on. Nothing like a custom made one, but I'm hoping they will continue to mold to my arch.

This is a great product but didn't work well with my feet and boot. It had too aggressive of an arch for my foot and it filled my boot up too much.

Way too hard. I need soft cushion with good arch support. The Aetrex full insoles are better in my opinion than these.

Not to be critical but these inner soles were not as comfortable as I expected. Better than the originals but still for the money they were just not comfortable.
