Wish they had fit! Stuart Weitzman's "wide" shoes run like a narrow C width. I wish he'd make a TRUE, D-width "wide" shoe because his styles are gorgeous! I still try some on every now and then to see if he has amended his sizing system... The Platpurist looked fabulous! Even my ugly feet looked good for the brief moments I could wear them. They were extremely flattering to he legs as well. The platform styling adds an edgy modernity to the classic good looks of pumps and the rounder toe made these shoes more comfortable than the standard, pointy-toed pump. I am pining for shoes this good looking, but since my feet are true D-widths across the bridge, I had to send them back with a heavy sigh.

Great shoe - I ordered them a 1/2 size larger than my normal 6 1/2 based on these reviews and they are too big. I will have to put a pad in them. Great looking shoe. Moderately comfortable. I get a lot of compliments on them.

Stuart Weitzman "to die for" pumps - I was a loyal Charles Jourdan patron for many years and still have high heeled Jourdan pumps that I bought in the 1970s and 1980s, but I can no longer wear them because my feet grew after my daughter was born. I've been looking for a "replacement" and had just about given up hope when I saw these shoes. They're spectacular. I just need to figure out how Weitzman's sizing works and imagine I'll be getting more in the future.

Go up 1/2 a size - I bought the shoe in red and ordered it first in a 7, which is my true size. The shoe was too small, so I exchanged it for the7 1/2 which fit perfect.

Awesome shoe - This shoe is hot! Of course, not the shoe you'd want to walk miles in, but relative to height and style- not that bad comfort-wise. It's both sexy and classic, I totally love it! I normally wear 8 1/2 but took a 9 in this one because it was the only size left and definitely couldn't go smaller. It is narrow, but that's what gives it its sleekness.

Gorgeous!!!! I am in LOVE with these shoes!!!! I am NOT a heels wearer and have been searching for a classic and very stylish pair of heels to wear with everything - jeans, pants, skirts, etc. These are perfect!! I ordered 1/2 larger since I am a sneakers girl and they fit perfectly!! I am just so happy with these shoes!!!

Very Very Positive!!! This is one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I own and I have hundreds!!! I have thin feet but not so thin that it is hard to find shoes. I came across these and LOVE them. They look great and have built in cushion at the ball of foot for more comfort. I recommend to all except those with wide feet.

They keep slipping off as I walk - For some reason...these shoes will not stay on my foot. Almost as if the heel is too high. I think the other reviewer is correct...these shoes run big. Me too. I wore them outside before this problem occurred and so now I cannot return them. I'm at a loss, I really like them…but can't wear them.

STUARD WEITZMAN PLATFORM HEELS - I have very hard to fit, and Stuart Weitzman is one of my favorite "go to" brands as they always fit are well made.

Love it, love it, love it! I have the Platpurist in red patent. I ordered it for the color alone and was thrilled to discover that the round toe and platform make it a comfortable walking shoe. I usually wear a narrow, but discovered with higher heels, a medium is more comfortable in the toe box.

Great shoe! I love these heels! They're so classic and pretty. Like most Stuart Weitzman's, this one feels about a half size small. I ordered a 6.5 but it was too narrow to be comfortable so I got the 7 and it fits great (although, my heel slips out every once in a while--nothing some heel grips won't fix).

Beautiful shoes! I love the shoes and the reviews that were posted when I ordered mine were very helpful. Based on those reviews, I ordered a half size larges than I normally wear and I am so glad I did. The vamp is high and the toe box is narrow so ordering up helped with those 2 things. The shoes are too large on the heels but I can live with it. They are really beautiful and very comfortable as long as I don't have to walk fast in them. I would definitely recommend these shoes.

Beautiful Shoe - This shoe is gorgeous and feels comfortable. It is beautifully made and well proprtioned. It distributes body weight evenly along the foot, feels supportive and is easy to walk and stand in.

Finally!! I searched for, what seemed like forever, the perfect pair of red pumps and these are the perfect pair. The picture does not do this shoe justice. I did have to order 1/2 size up. They were well worth the extra cost. The Look...TEN STARS!

These shoes are actually much better than the picture can convey. It is difficult to find a pump that comes up high enough on the front of the foot. This one does. They are classy, give height, and are very comfortable!!! I couldn't find anything close in the entire city of Houston in a size 5.

Wide runs narrow - Couldn't wait to try on this sexy shoe on! At last a "better" platform in Peau color. Disappointed though when I couldn't get my foot into the shoe. Perhaps it was just this pair of shoes. I usually wear a 7W in Stu's shoes.

Perfect - This are gorgeous and sturdy. Perfect fit. I love them and wish they had my size in all the colors.

Beautiful Shoe - These shoes are beautiful. Although a bit narrow, due to the high toe box, they are comfortable.

Perfection - I love them. I am a size 9 for pointy toes but I took an 8 1/2 for these shoes. They are very easy to walk with and I just feel great and tall and beautiful. They are narrow but it is ok for a normal foot.

Perfect Pump - I bought quite a few pairs of black pumps, tried them all on and decided on this one (best thing about Zappos). It is basic, but sexy and looks great with everything from business suits to a cocktail dress. I tried on a very similar pump from a non-Zappos company and the toe box did not offer as much coverage. This pump is even better and a bit less expensive. I gave it four stars for comfort because, after all, it is a heel. Other than that, it's one of the most comfortable dress shoes I own.

Too Small! Absolutely beautiful shoe! I wear a size 6 in 99% of shoes I order from Zappos (and I order A LOT!), but I couldn't even get my foot into this shoe. I would have ordered next size up, but out of stock.

SW PLATPURIST - This shoe is the perfect alternative to Christian Louboutins BRUGES. I don't want to go cheap on trends, so I waited for the Stuart Weitzman version for the quality and longevity. It's worth it! The shoes have a 4-inch heel, but the half-inch platform and the added pad for the balls of the feet drives the comfort in this shoe. I am normally a size 5, but I had to order a half a size down in this model. The size 4.5 fits perfectly for me, I am so lucky to get the last pair!

Looking Sharp - I wore these shoes to a business meeting with a black pants suit. They looked so professional and stylish! I stood most of the day and the shoes were incredibly comfortable.

Nice but size a little off - This pair of shoes is very nice-looking. The only issue is that they are a little larger than the size. I typically wear an 8 in this brand, and these shoes feel about a half size too large.

Not a success, sadly - These looked great on the page, and I love the pair I have in peau de soie, but these must be styled slightly differently even though the name is the same. The minute I put these on I knew they were going back. They were comfortable enough for heels, but I have large feet to begin with (size 12) and these made me look like Shaq. The other pair actually made my feet look smaller, but not these. Too bad. Still love Stuart Weitzman shoes.
