Great for bad feet - I bought these shoes because they have the same last as the Taylor and have a removable insole for my orthotics. I had great luck with the Taylor with my sesamoiditis (broken bone in the ball of my right foot causing swelling and pain). For years, I've been wearing only athletic shoes to accommodate my painful foot. Based on some reviews of the Taylor I decided to go for it despite the cost. Let me tell you--I'd pay $500 for those shoes. And the Tedra is no different. I have a narrow foot, but the heel is narrow enough for me. It has the same fit and last as the Taylor's which I love--unfortunately no more available in my size. These two pairs of shoes have changed my life; I no longer have foot pain after walking a city block on pavement. I can even hike again because my foot has had a reprieve from the pain so the swelling has (finally) gone down. Thanks, Josef!

The best shoes I've ever owned!! I ordered these shoes in brown and another style in black after reading lots of customer reviews, which were all so positive I felt like I had to. I had never heard of these shoes before but since there was nothing to lose thanks to Zappos return policies and free shipping I figured I'd try them. I am happy to say I love, love, love these shoes!!! They look stylish- not the same thing everyone else is wearing, they're amazingly comfortable (without looking orthopedic!), the fit is perfect, and these are just great everyday shoes. I was concerned because I don't usually spend this much on shoes, but so far I think they were worth every penny. I was worried about getting the size right as I didn't know anything about the European sizes. I usually wear a 9 1/2 to 10- I ordered the equivalent of size 10 (as there were no half sizes) and they're perfect. I hate shoe shopping in stores like you wouldn't believe and will wear the same crappy shoes until they fall apart because I hate shopping so much. This was a really nice change for me! I can't say enough about how happy I am with these shoes, as well as how nice it was to shop this site. I don't think I'll ever go to the mall again!

Bad sizing for Josef Seibel - The shoe fit like a glove - literally! It was very snug - and that was w/o a trouser sock on. I had to return it because the next size up was an entire whole size up. I have another pair of Josefs that is a 40 - I wear 8.5-9 shoes - and they have more room than this one. If I order a 40 in one style of Josef Seibel shoes, then I should be able to order a 40 in all the other styles, too!

Looking for Comfort with Style - This is a very comfortable shoe. I needed a comfortable, yet stylish shoe that I could where to work. I walk a lot at work and this shoe is still comfortable at the end of the day.

Great comfort - I really like these shoes. Needed to get a size larger than I normally do, but they are very comfortable and can fit different styles of dress.

My favorite comfort shoes -- good for problem feet - These shoes are so comfortable. I swear by these shoes. I buy my shoes for comfort because I have problems with my feet. I bought my first Josef Seibel Tedras when I was having a problem with plantar fasciitis. They helped tremendously by giving my feet exactly the right support. When wearing my Tedras, all of the pain associated with my multiple foot problems go away. - calluses and bunions (from wearing high heels when I was younger -- boy, am I sorry!). These shoes have a roomy toe box and well padded insole. - twisted ankles. For some reason my feet and ankles do not twist wearing these shoes. - prominent bones over my arches. The vamp on many shoes press down uncomfortably on the top of my feet. - blisters on the backs of my heels caused by the inward curvature of the heel on many shoes. The top back of the heel on these shoes is both padded and curves slightly outward. My Tedras leave my feet pain free from all of the above problems. The only problem with Tedras is they are not dressy for evening wear. :-(

Fantastic - This shoe is perfect for the commute and for the entire work day! It is comfortable, business casual, and supportive - perfect for work and great with jeans!

Super all-purpose business-casual work shoe or travel shoe - I initially chose this shoe two years ago for a trip to Europe. It served that purpose well: comfortable in which to walk, cleans easily, good tread, looked nice with casual pants. I wore it to work a few times when I returned and fell in love with it as a day-to-day business-casual shoes, as well. I'm back for a second pair of the Tendra, but have two other JS shoes and love them just as much. Very much worth the $100+ pricetag in durability, design and versatility.

A Great Shoe - Josef Seibel makes great shoes. This pair is as good as all the rest. What is surprising is how light weight they are. Extremely comfortable, especially when you are on your feet all day.

Absolute Comfort - These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever bought.

Had to try twice, but love them - The left shoe of the first pair I ordered was noticeably smaller than the right shoe. I normally do not have this problem and am a true 7M. So I ordered another pair and returned the first. The second pair fits like they are made for me! I walk several city blocks from the train to my office. These shoes are so comfortable for that walk and keep my feet warm and dry. As a bonus they look fairly stylish. I have lower back and knee problems and I notice that they don't bother me so much after walking in these shoes. It takes a bit of a push to get your foot it and the arch is high. That's good for me since my foot has a high arch. These shoes are definitely worth the investment. I am very happy with them and I am picky about my shoes!

Very comfortable shoe. This is my second pair of these and I will buy another pair when these wear out!

Very comfortable - Josef Seibel really knows how to make a shoe. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had on my feet. Worth every penny.

Josef Seibel Tedra Review - These shoes are extrmemly comfortable - so comfortable that I have this shoe in two colors. The heel has some height to it and I like that. For a professional who usually wears pant suits (as opposed to dresses and heels) to work and walks a few miles each day, my feet are happy.

Noise - The navy pair makes quite a bit of weird sounds when walking, some of them are suspiciously rude, the others are just garden variety shoe squeaks. Very entertaining, but I can no longer sneak up on unsuspecting victims of mischief.

Don't Hesitate, Buy These Now! I have large, (size 11) feet and have had many problems with my feet over the years. I bought these shoes because of the great reviews. The moment I put them on I realized I found a winner. They are absolutely wonderful. Comfortable, good fit and look great.

Tedra is the best Josef Seibel shoe yet! I have been a fan of Josef Seibel shoes for several years, mostly with the Tia model that is still available, but I have to admit the Tedra is even better! I'm walking several miles every day (all over the streets of London), and my feet never get tired in the Tedra shoe. Plus, it's a far better look than wearing sneakers.

extremely comfortable - I ordered these shoes after all of the great reviews I read about them on this site. It's very difficult to find comfortable shoes to fit me because I have a bunion on my right foot. Per the reviews, the toe area is very roomy and puts no pressure on my bunion. Very comfortable, cushiony shoes and I like the look with both jeans or dress pants -- I'm extremely happy with both the shoes and Zappo's wonderful service (I received the shoes in less than 48 hours!). Will definitely order from this website again.

Tendra - This is a great looking shoe and very comfy with good support.

No more foot pain - This is my first pair of Seibel shoes. The fit was true to size and width. I love these shoes. This is the best shoe I've ever had. I have moderate arthritis in my feet and these shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I can walk without discomfort all day long. I feel like I'm getting a foot massage every step I take. Will never buy any other shoe again!!

I love this brand of shoes, I also bought some sandals. I spend a lot of time on my feet and I walk long distances, so I needed a comfortable jean and slack shoe. This shoe is very light--I'm not sure what the sole is made out of, but it's much lighter than my running shoes. I took it right out of the box and wore it immediately, no discomfort. I bought the wide shoe, which I needed. Wonderful! I will buy more of this brand.

So Comfortable - These shoes are so very comfortable and they are made very well. I have other Josef Seibel shoes and love them as well. You will not go wrong with these shoes or Zappos' quick and friendly service.

Josef Seibel Walking Shoe - What can I say? The shoe is wonderful. Combines comfort with looks. Wide enough toe box yet heel is not loose. A winner!

Best shoe ever! This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I wear them very often and they are always comfortable. I can stand most of the day and they never rub my feet nor do my feet get tired. I am going to get a second pair in another color.

Relief from torn ligaments, support for high arch/instep - After tearing all the ligaments in one of my feet last year (severe sprain), the orthopedist recommended New Balance sneakers with anti-roll bars. The bottom of my foot remained swollen and very sore, like fasciitis. I despaired of ever getting better, and sick of wearing the uncomfortable sneakers I tried the Tedra. The Tedras have made my foot 99% better! At first the shoes felt very snug, with pressure from the insert on the bottom of the "bad" foot. Within a week I discovered that this pressure was actually "massaging" the sole of my foot and eliminated the swelling completely, after almost a year of suffering! Now my foot is totally painless as long as I'm wearing these shoes, and my feet feel better in my "regular" shoes as well. Thank you Joseph Seibel! These shoes have worked a miracle for me. I disagree with the other poster who said this shoe is not for people with a high instep. I have a very high arch/instep and these shoes are perfect for me. I'm certainly going to buy several more pairs.
