Mom of three boys! I purchased three pairs of these sandals for my boys; 6, 4, and 18 months. They love them. They are great for moms too; machine washable for those dog poop episodes, wear them with or without socks for the picky child, and so darn cute on the baby. My husband and I both wear Keen shoes and sandals; the whole family loves them now. Pricey, but totally worth every cent!

Excellent Kids Shoe - I can't recommend this shoe enough. We purchased the same shoe for our children last summer and loved them. Protection for the toes and the heels, and can be worn in the water. If you have extremely active children and are looking for good protection for their feet, this is the shoe for you.

Great little shoe - Good shoe for my active 5 year old. He can run around like crazy and they don't trip him up or fall off. He wore them shopping for a few hours yesterday (his first full day of wear) and it went great, no blisters or complaints.

Great summer shoe - This is my son’s second pair. I would not buy another pair of gym shoes for the summer months because these held up so well. They didn't even scuff when he was riding his bike, like his equally priced Stride Rite gym shoes did. I love that socks are not needed and my son can put them on himself. I bought my daughter her first pair too.

Great Toddler Shoe - My daughter has a wide foot and Keen shoes have been a nice change from the ol' stand-by options. I purchased a similar style for her last summer that didn't work well - turns out it was as simple as finding the pair with the velcro strap at the ankle. Last year's model didn't have that strap and were exceptionally difficult to get on. Once on they were great but she hated the process so much she basically refused to wear them. This year we've both been very happy. These shoes also have decent arch support (hard to find in kids' shoes) which pleases me. Keens do tend to run small so go up at least a 1/2 size.

Great shoe! This shoe is my son's favorite outdoor sandal/sneaker. We live in the Caribbean so it is always hot. The shoe has great ventilation without sacrificing comfort, style, and support. I think I will keep him in these for years to come.

Perfect for Kindergarten - My 5 year-old son loves these shoes from Keen Kids. He wears them almost every day to school. In Texas, it's still hot for the beginning of school, so the sandals work well. But he's very active outside, so the protected toe is perfect for his play. He loves them and can put them on & take them off without much trouble. We love that we can wash them in the washing machine and they look like new.

Great shoe and looks great - I ordered these for my son. When we opened the box he was extremely excited because they are just like his father's shoe and because they are blue. When I ordered them we ordered the next size up since our sons shoe size is 9 1/2. The size 10 version of this was just too big. I ended up ordering the next size down and that fit perfect. We are keeping the other ones since our son will grow into them. At first these shoes are snug when you put them on but they stretch and form to your feet.

Fantastic shoes for kids!!!! Both of my boys wore these all summer and they were so cute!! They fit both of them perfectly and my older son has very narrow feet. He can get them on and off by himself too which is nice. I will have to say that they do really stink when they take them off. I have washed them a couple times, but it doesn't really help the stink.

Easy to put on and take off! We ordered these for our 2 and a half year old son and are very pleased with the sandal. What I like best about these is that he can put them on and take them off by himself with the velcro strap.

Overall great sturdy summer sandal - improved model! Bought these for my 5 yr old and 2 yr old. Finding that this model w/velcro side strap is much easier than previous models. Kids are actually able to get these on themselves w/out all that tugging! Very sturdy. Size runs a little big. Feet can get hot due to neoprene so just beware.

Summer shoes - This is a great summer shoe for a boy. It can get wet and the sand slides right out! My son has mastered taking them off, but he can't quite put them on himself yet. The color says periwinkle and that made me wonder if they looked at all purple, but they are a bright blue. Adorable for a little boy. My son is funny about sandals and wants to wear tennis shoes most of the time, but he wears these.

Great Shoe!! This is a great update on the Newport. The Velcro strap opens up making this one is so, so easy to get on and off!! The older version was much more difficult. This shoe is perfect for wide feet and is very adjustable for a custom, comfortable fit.

Keen Kids Newport H2 review - Great shoe! My son loves them and they are very easy to put on his ever moving foot with the velcro strap that helps to loosen up a little. The velcro strap does not open the shoe up completely (great feature), but helps to tighten or loosen fit only. Great color. They dry very quickly. True to fit. My son is extra wide and they fit him also.

BEST buy - My 3yr old son loves his new red shoes. He wants to wear them all the time, they are easy to clean, and appear to be rugged shoes. A definite must have for little boys.

Keen Shoes - These shoes are GREAT! We've purchased these for both of my boys for the past two years and love them. The traction is great for running around in water and the toe protections is awesome. They fit and perform like a running shoe and dry quickly when worn in water. We use them at water parks and they are perfect!

Comfy and cute. My grandkids haven't stopped wearing these since we opened the box!

Great shoe - My son loves these shoes. He wears them everyday with everything. They are easy on, easy off and very comfy!

Much improved from last years - Love that Keen added a velcro strap to the kids Newport this year it makes it a lot easier to get on!!! Also like that they used the same strap material as the adult Newport it will be better for performance and looks better. Awesome shoe!

Awesome shoes! True to size. Looks great! Every kid should have!

We love Keens for all our summer adventures. We've ordered them in different sizes for the past few years and wear them almost exclusively from April - Sept/Oct. That being said we prefer the Seacamp II CNX version. I accidentally bought these Newport H2s and they are just a bit more structured. This made it difficult for oldest (5) to put on, and it was a struggle for me to put them on my almost 3 year old. I returned for the Seacamps, but a couple of years in the future we may try these for a bit more structure.

We love Keens because they are super sturdy, the kids can wear them for days in summer, and we can take them to the beach and the pool and the playground, and the shower, and on hikes. Only drawback is that they stink horribly - it's the top part, not the anti-microbial footbed, that absorbs the stink. You have to soak them in vinegar and detergent and soak them in the sun every day. But worth it.
