We love these shoes because they have a durable sole and the comfort of a sandal. They also wash up great and dry quickly, after an accidental puddle mishap...

My daughter loves the Keen Sandals. They are comfortable and tough. They are perfect for playing. I liked them so much, I ordered a pair for myself. They are very good quality.

This sandle is very well made and ideally suited for childrens adventures. The covered toe prevents boo-boos and the shoe works well in and out of the water. Worth the extra money.

I have 2 boys ages 2 & 4 and these Keens keep up with every one of their adventures. They outgrow the shoes before they outwear them. We are outdoor people and these shoes keep up in the mud, the ocean, and just plain running around. They dry easily, clean easily, are very stable & protect their little feet (but still give them air). We have had several pair of the navy & got our first pair of orange. The boys like the orange best, but the navy definitely didn’t look as dirty as quickly. However, with a toothbrush & some castile soap, they are as good as new. They are pretty true to size and we will continue to wear them 3 seasons/year.

These are durable waterproof shoes. The puppy almost chewed off the tab of the velcro closure, but I was able to sew it back together. He hasn’t complained about them being uncomfortable. He wears them with and without socks.

These were an excellent choice for my 4-year old son. Very durable, look great, and he loves to wear them. The velcro strap makes them easy on/off. He wears them most everywhere, but they are especially great for one of his favorite activities - throwing rocks in the stream.

These are fantastic kids summer shoes, worn by most of the kids (boys and girls) in my daughter's playgroup. These shoes are very durable and wicked cute. In them, she has gone crick stomping, sand castle building, bike riding, and climbing. These shoes are also dishwasher safe. They do run nearly a whole size small.

The Newport has been a great shoe for both my 7 and 9 year old girls. It’s the perfect balance of sandal and athletic shoe. The velcro closure makes for easy access, too. What I didn’t expect: they get stinky!

This is the third year we have purchased Keens for our kids. They are without a doubt the best shoes for active kids. These are the best! I love the Keen Newport H2 for myself, so I got a pair for my one year old as his first pair of sandals. They’re fairly easy to get on thanks to the handy velcro strap (it’s hard to get any shoes on those chubby toddler feet), and even though his latest trick is to kick his shoes off at unexpected moments, he usually keeps these on. Also, because the base of the Keen Newport is nice and wide (but not too heavy), these are excellent shoes for kids at that learning-to-walk stage. He can stand up and balance in them easily, yet they don’t get in the way when he’s crawling. Love the Caribbean color! Goes with blues and greens, very summery.

I bought 2 pairs of Keens in two different sizes for a grandchild who lives in British Columbia. When we arrived the smaller pair fit him perfectly and the larger pair fit him with socks, so I left both pair. He built a fort one day while we were visiting and the shoes were filthy (muddie and wet). I hosed them down and set them in the sun and he wore them to school the next day. Great for a 6 year old.

I bought these for my active 3 year old daughter as an alternative to other plastic type clogs that I felt were not as safe for the playground and other outdoor activities. I love these sandals and so does my daughter. They have a great slip free sole and her toes are covered and protected. The fit is great and they will not slip off easily. Easy to wash/rinse- these will be our new go to shoe for the summer. Worth every penny!!

Love the shoes! My almost 3 year old loves them! They seem comfortable; they are wide enough for his feet. He can put them on himself which he loves and me too! Good for wet slick surfaces...we washed our van the other day and there was water and soap everywhere...I kept slipping but my son was very safe with the bottoms of these shoes! Overall and awesome shoe! LOVE them!

Great shoes for my 2 year old son. Easy to put on and take off. Dry quickly. I love that these sandals have closed toes. The velcro straps are a must for any toddler. Will definitely get these again when he grows out of them.

These shoes protect his fat little feet and provide nice support for a big day on the playground. The bonus is no stinky feet at the end of the day. These are a great value for the price. Shoes run true to size.

These are the best summer-time sandals for little guys (and gals). This is the second pair that my 3 year-old (almost 4) son has had. I only bought a new pair because he out-grew the last pair - not because they wear out. These Keens certainly stand up to all that my little guy can dish out. It's awesome that they also protect little toes! He tells me that they "Feel great, mom!" My son also loves that his Keens look just like moms, and the other "big people" Keens in the neighborhood. I will certainly buy another pair next summer!

These shoes are the best. My son loves them. They are easy for him to put on and I like the new velcro strap. These shoes are basically indestructible. I only buy Keen shoes for him now. It is an investment, but definitely worth it.

Our 5 year old granddaugher loves to wear Keens. She has very narrow feet and these can be adjusted to fit just right. In her words, “They are so comfy.” This is the third year we have purchased Keens for her, one pair for winter and one pair for summer. These sandals wash up beautifully and look nearly new at the end of the season. She loves the bright colors and has been able to put them on herself since she was three. I love them because they provide good support, protect the feet, and clean up well – all around a good play shoe. She loves them because of the pretty colors, can put them on herself (since the age of three), and they look good with summer dresses. Keens tend to run short, so we always buy a size bigger than in other shoes.

I would highly recommend the keen sandals as even my 3 year old can put them on himself. After years of Crocs I felt they needed a supportive shoe and they can put them without help.
This is important to a Mom of 4 on the go during the summer. The sandals can be washed in the washing machine!

First, I want to say, I love Zappos… the absolute BEST customer service. I will never purchase shoes any where else. I bought Keens Newport for my 3 year old grandson and he LOVES them. I purchased a size larger than he normally wears and they are a perfect fit... his foot is not particularly wide, but the shoes are still a good fit for him. He loves his new shoes so much that he refuses to wear anything else.

We bought these shoes for our 4 year old twins. They can put them on themselves, which is always a plus. The shoes stay on and the kids don't fuss with them like other shoes. The Keens are also more supportive than flip-flops which keep the falls down to a minimum. It's nice to have a shoe that we can rinse off and dries quickly. Definitely worth the price...and is a fun addition to any toddler wardrobe.
