I wear an 8 to (rarely) 8.5 and the adirondack size 8 fit fine with a thin sock. (you really shouldn\\\'t need a thick sock with this insulated a boot.) on the lacing complaints--just don\\\'t tie your boots! you can easily slip the boot on and off without adjusting the laces--tuck the loose lace ends into the boot top for a very clean look. problem solved--takes just seconds to put on the boot. the flip up/down fur cuff is also nice. only wish the boot were taller. I\\\'m 5\\\'7" and flipped up & cuffless, the boot is about 3" from the bottom of my knee. a super-tall ugg would be even nicer.

I am a frequent traveler to northern NH in the wintertime, and I needed a pair of boots that could provide warmth, traction and water/snow-tightness against prolonged exposure to deep snow, wet ice, and below zero temperatures on a regular basis. These boots certainly did the job! Unlike typical Uggs, they provide great arch support due to the Vibram sole. They do not run large like the typical Ugg boots. I have wide feet and wear a 6.5-7, and I have these in a 7, which is perfect! You do not need to wear socks with them, it gets pretty warm and even hot in these boots without socks. The laces are cumbersome if you have to take off and put on the boots a few times a day, but I like them because they can accommodate all different calf sizes. NH folks love the way they look but NYC folks tend to be surprised at the hard core snow boot look. The pros definitely outweigh cons for these boots!

Really happy - The boots are very warm. I bought these to replace the other UGG boots (classic tall in black) that I wore out last winter. I have to walk 9 blocks from the train station to my building in Chicago and these are the warmest kind of boots I have ever worn. Even in -40 weather my feet never get cold. This style comes fitted to your feet a little more than the classic UGG, a size 7 is what I have and until I wear them in a little I won't be able to wear socks, as they instruct you to do anyway. The sheepskin is so fluffy your feet get stuck if you try to wear a sock. It has the full sheepskin lining inside and the cuff at the top flips up to give a little more coverage. The only complaint, if any, I can find is that the laces are not long enough. You have to pull out the first few laces to loosen them up to get them on. They are long enough to tie them up though, once they are on. Also these are much easier to walk in than the classic flat boot, this will be much easier to keep from sliding around because they have really great tread on the bottom. The material used on the sole is much more durable than the classic boot, too. I can also tuck my jeans into them with no problem. If you have to find boots for extreme conditions, buy these boots!

Got these boots and the short version a year ago. They are great. The only boots I need all winter. Noticed I got too hot wearing them above 40 and when it got under 20 I put socks on, and stayed nice and warm. Tall ones great if wearing all day. They are a lot to lace. Short ones are great on and off boots. Size was just right for me. Everyone loves them. The snow will make the suede wet when standing in it for awhile, but I treated mine so they dried just fine. Great traction on icy ground too. So worth the money.

Very Happy about My Uggs!!!!
These boots are the most comfortable; I love the look as well as the compliments I receive whenever I wear these boots! No one has ever seen this particular ugg boot and are always asking me where I purchased them!!!! I would love to tell them but I want all the comfort and compliments to myself; however, I did find myself telling a few friends where I found them!!!! :(

Transformed my experience of winter -
I used to hate winter now I love it - even the very long, very cold Wisconsin winter thanks to these boots. I wear these barefoot. My feet are warm and happy in -23F (not counting wind-chill). I can continue to walk everywhere. The ties make them more snug and warm.

I bought these boots for my daughter, she loves them. I also bought a pair for me, but sent them back. I did not like the lace up, I really wanted a pair of pull ons. They were so narrow.

The boots run a bit small so I suggest going a half size up (if you want to wear thick socks go a full size up). The fur in the boots goes all the way down to your toes which kept my feet warm. These boots are such a good investment for the snow. The only issue I had was lacing up the boots which took me like 3 minutes to do.

This is my first ugg boots yeah and i am in love with it... It's very warm, fully fur lined, neat, and extremely comfortable, I love them. i wanted to pamper myself in gaining a good pair of shoes for theses cold winter months, blizzards days and ice and snowed covered streets in New York city. My mother always says a woman necessities for her health and posture should always, always have a great comfortable shoe, that you can have long walks in and a good coat for those extremely cold weather. i think i have just found those shoes. Only one thing i have to buy it a size bigger than my actual size. i guess to accommodate all the extra padding inside.... but still love them.....

I bought them yesterday and what timing - it snowed today, and my feet stayed warm and dry! I love my boots. They look very handsome; especially a combination of black leather and grey suede makes them attractive. I will be able to wear them with skinny jeans, leggings and even skirt. The boots look better than in the photos. I read in comments that they run small. I wear size 7 and my boots were size 7 - true to size. They fit perfectly. I do have narrow feet, and for wider feet you probably need to size up. I am only giving them four stars because they are difficult to put on and take off. A zipper on the side would have made them the best boots ever!

I have these in dark brown. I get compliments all the time. My feel have never been cold, and there are so many cute ways to wear them! I recommend them to everyone. I would say to not get dark brown though, because where they scrape together, the color has faded a bit, the only reason to give it 4 stars.

I love these boots it's very comfortable and good for snow and harsh ny weather. However if I stay outside in the cold too long my feet do get a little cold.(Mayb a hour). Other wise the shoe is great.

Love the boots. They're super warm and comfy. I got 1/2 size bigger and they still were narrow around my calves, meaning I had to wear the laces VERY loosely. Does not affect how comfy they are and I will keep them and continue to enjoy them.

I love this boot for hiking & outdoor use & would of given it a 5 star but they need to consider side zipper which would make them easy on & off. The laces are time consuming & the fur trim at the top should be thinner or they should consider not using it at all! A very warm boot so I feel it's not even necessary. It won't be a deal breaker without it! Also order 1 full size up

I got these boots to take to Norway for two weeks in February. I was a little hesitant because they are Uggs and waterproof (what???). To my very good surprise, they were very much waterproof/ water resistant. We had about two feet of snow whilst there and my feet never got wet. I was, however, expecting my feet to be warmer than they were. I still had to put in foot warmers but once in, my feet were toasty without being sweaty- which is a big plus for me. I usually have cold cold feet. We spent a day in Oslo walking around the slush and my feet stayed dry. It was warmer there than in Lofoten and I didn't add the warmers. I was fairly comfortable walking around the city, but at the end of the day my feet did wish for some arch support.
We wore crampons most of the time in Lofoten. Without them, the boots had okay traction but not great. I wouldn't want to wear these on ice. I would recommend them for winter, snowy wear. They certainly did a fine job on most counts.

Okay, so I originally thought that it was gonna be very heavy and hard to walk in like timberlands but it's actually super lightweight. Way more comfortable and also very warm and cozy. I would buy these again, if something ever happened to my new ones.
