Cute not cushy - The styling is great, but there is no extra padding of any kind. Just canvas, suede and a rubber sole. Don't expect the delicious cushioned comfort of a more typical Keen running shoe.

Ah ha! All the comfort and support of any of your favorite Keen shoes, but super casual and super easy going. They go with everything I own and they go anywhere I go. Great shoes!

Awesome shoe! I love these shoes! They are SO comfy and I plan on wearing them until I wear them out! In fact, I'm wearing them right now, at home after work, all night long. The only thing I would suggest is, getting a shoe horn to put them on at first, rather than loosen all of the laces to get them on. They are a bit stiff at first, but I'm sure they will soften up as time goes on. Oh, and they are so fun-looking! Buy these shoes!

"Those are the ugliest/cute shoes ever!" I have had lots of compliments on these shoes. I do agree that the back of the shoe cuts in a little on your heel and that there isn't much arch support, but there is ample room in the toe area and I really like that, since I have wide feet. Overall, I recommend these and am looking forward to new colors and styles from Keen.

Looks outweigh comfort - These shoes look great on your feet, but wear sport socks if you want to be comfortable! There is little to no arch support and even though the fit is fine, my tops of my toes rub the inside of the shoe causing a blister. These shoes should be worn for show and not for long distance walking. Perhaps they will conform to my feet after further wear. They are indeed cute in black suede.

I ordered them on a Friday and they came on Monday. I tried them on and they fit! I run between 8 and 8.5, so I ordered the 8s. These shoes are unique in that the tongue is attached to the rest of the shoe, so they were a little weird to put on the first time. Yay Zappos!

Keen Ventura Suede - I bought this shoe a half a size bigger than I would usually wear, but it fits just fine. I needed a good walking shoe with arch support for a walking trip. My main issue with this shoe is that the heel hurts my foot. I figured it would relax with wear, but I am now home from my trip, and the heel still really hurts! Maybe I have a short heel that causes the shoe to hit me in the wrong place, but it really does pinch and rub wrong... I do really love the look of the shoe; the toe area is quite wide and comfortable. So far the arch support is better than most sneakers I have worn, which, after years of wearing poor sneakers, is very important.

keeeeeeeeeeeeeens - This keen ventura is the coolest looking shoe ever made. I have other keen brand shoes and I was disappointed that this model didn't have a larger, thicker arch support. Also, it is too heavy. Maybe it is better to look good than feel good. It is such a sweet looking shoe!

Ventura's a gem - I'd been looking for a "dressier" sports shoe to go with jeans and a sweatshirt. Found it! The suede dresses it up (I chose the sand color) and they are well-made and solid. In design they are a wide shoe, but I need that because of foot problems. People have stopped me and said that they're "cute" and I feel like they make my foot look smaller because of their width. I recommend them highly!

This is a great looking shoe but has very little support as far as an arch support.

More cute than comfy - I love the look of the shoe, but I really wanted a sneaker that didn't require wearing socks. I found that if peds are worn, they're slightly more comfortable. I also inserted a gel insert to add comfort which did help. Loved that they came w/ 2 sets of laces so you can change the look of them. Upgraded my shipping to ensure getting them in 2-3 days instead of the 4-5. I ordered at 10:30pm Monday night and had them by 1:00 on Tuesday afternoon... WOW!

Retro cute - I love Keen's! These are maybe my 5th pair & unfortunately, they are also my least favorite. Kinda heavy, no arch support so my feet really get tired & crampy after wearing them to work. I have to trade days with the Portola's which are unmatched for comfort.

Cute casual shoe! This is a very cute shoe - even better than in the pictures, I think. It is pretty comfortable, it has a very substantial sole, very cushy under your foot, but I could use a LOT more arch support. So I inserted some extra arch & now it is a very comfortable shoe & seems very well made. It is a little warm for summer. Maybe this is a no-brainer, but I ordered the suede because I thought it might hold up better than the canvas. Good with no socks, better with them.

Very attractive shoe - The Ventura Suede is a great looking shoe. I get a lot of compliments. However, it is not as comfortable as the Ventura II.

Cute. Not as comfortable as I expected - would definitely benefit from the better arch support in my other Keens, the Newports. Would also benefit from some padding around the back like my old Simples used to have, but I didn't experience as much rubbing on my heel as the other reviewers.

Nice shoe - I like the shoe... haven’t worn them that much - bought them for spring. It’s a bit heavier than I expected, but they are comfortable and will be a great walking shoe.

Not bad - Back of shoe was a little stiff, not comfortable, but I'm hoping in time they will break in.

Comfortable walking shoe, but... The canvas upper does not provide much support around the heel. A little difficult to get on and slips slightly off narrow heel. Otherwise, I like the shoe very much.

Wish they were softer - Very nice shoes, made well - my only problem is I had foot surgery recently and they are a little too stiff for my incision. They look great and I think otherwise they would be very comfortable and long lasting shoes.

Cool Shoes - I love these shoes! They remind me of the Keds I wore when I was a kid. Better traction though. They are really cool looking. Could have a little more support. I wear orthotics and they fit nicely in them.

Looks great! Fit is reasonably comfortable, but I need to wear them with socks because I've got very narrow feet. People with a wider foot will probably find them much more comfortable. Absolutely no arch support.

Keen Ventura - The shoes look great. I had a few issues with the insole. It felt like there was a lump under the ball of the foot, but as I wear them it is getting more comfortable as they form to my feet. I would definitely order more Keen styles.

Keen Ventura - Very cute, I own 5 pairs of Keens and I love them all. These shoes are the least well made of all the Keens I own, though. They were also the cheapest. They are not "cheap", by any means, in price or construction, but all my other Keens were more like $100. I got these in suede, I felt like it was a better deal for the money than canvas. They are really cute and look great with jeans. What I wish was a little different is the laces are HUGE and LONG so I double knot them to keep them short and under my pant leg. Also, these shoes weigh about a thousand pounds. No kidding. And lastly, they offer no arch support. They are a little difficult to get on but if you really loosen the laces it's not a problem. They look really nice on, really cute and sporty, but I wish they would have made them a little lighter with better insoles and arch supports, which is what I LOVE about my other Keens. Over all, I would recommend them, they just fall a little bit short of what I have come to expect from Keen. I have been spoiled by my Providence clogs and my Presidios!!!

Overall good shoe - I bought this shoe because I liked the look of the Ventura and getting suede rather than canvas made the price seem less extravagant. The arch support is not as good as other Keens, but much better than other shoes of this style, such as Rocket Dogs. The sole is also much thicker, making it much better for outdoor activities. I got a half size up which leaves plenty of room for thick socks. The shoe is wide enough that I probably could have gotten by with my normal size, however.
