The shoe is very unique looking and fits beautifully and most importantly comfortable (I am tall and rarely wear heels). Lots of padding inside and love the adjustable velcro strap. I usually wear an 8 1/2 or a 9, and the 8 1/2 fit perfect (thanks to the other reviewers for the tip!).

Beautiful, versatile, comfortable shoe. Runs right on shoe size. I especially like the adjustable strap. I have a low instep and my foot tends to slide down, squishing my toes. (Not with these.) Even with the drop from heel to hidden platform toe. My daughter who has a very high instep recommended them. They work for her because of the velcro adjustable strap.

Overall, this is a great shoe for me. I can't wear high heels much because of pain in the ball of my foot. But I can wear the Acrea because it has the high platform and decent padding - made even better with gel inserts (I may substitute Poron inserts). I also added Dr. Scholl invisible arch supports. I had two, 3-hour evening events last week where on was on my feet walking around all night. These shoes, especially with their roomy toebox, were relatively comfortable the entire time - high praise from me! If you're going to add any inserts, you might want to get a slightly bigger size than usual.

Just received and can't take these off, they are so comfortable! I am a perfect size 8.5 and ordered an 8 for a perfect fit, so go down 1/2 size. Can't wait to wear to an out of state business meeting. I fully expect these to be totally comfortable walking through the airport. Love!

I really like the look and feel of these shoes. The only problem is that my heel slips in them, even with a good fit. The heel is relatively heavy which might be the problem. I originally ordered a 9 but had to return them for 8.5 which did not correct the heel slip problem. They do look great though.

Very cute and comfortable, but definitely run large. Order a half size smaller than you usually wear. They also run wide, which is great for a dress shoe, but the velcro strap tightens nicely across the foot to secure you in. The back strap was a bit loose and is not adjustable, but if you order a smaller size it'll probably work just fine.

Super cute, and I get a lot of compliments. But ouch! I did buy a size smaller as other reviewers recommended and the size seems okay. But the strap in back has left a mark, and then by the end of the day the front of my feet are throbbing. Getting a little better as time goes on, and it helps if I wear thick tights/knee highs.

These are as comfortable as all the reviews say. I work a convention for 6 days once a year. They were great for 3 days. I'm on my feet for 12 hours each day and I don't believe there is any heeled shoe that would be comfortable for that period of time. I'm glad I bought these. For everyday wear, they are very comfortable.

Comfortable! These shoes are expensive for my budget, but completely worth the price. I have both brown and black versions. I can wear these for day and night...including dancing. They don't hurt my feet and give me enough heel to make my legs look nice. Totally worth every penny.

I love these shoes...they are beautiful. They are also quite comfortable; however, I am having problems with them slipping when I wear tights. The strap across the top does not keep my feet firmly in the shoe. Have actually considered returning them for this reason alone, but I really do love the shoes, so I probably won't.

Very comfortable shoes, but like the other reviewers, I found the strap too long and did not fit the heel right. Since I did not think I could go a size smaller, as I have a wide foot, I just put a heel insert on the strap and they fit fine. These are heels I can wear all day.

These are very cute shoes. They feel a half size too big, which is strange - since I wear an 11 M and it is very hard to find shoes that fit. I was thrilled to find these and they looked so cute. I felt like I was wearing my Mom's shoes - which has never happened before. I had to send them back.

Beautiful an comfortable. I am usually a 7½-8 and I have two other pairs of Tsubos, both 8's. I ordered these in an 8...way too big. I will order them in a smaller size.

I am a big fan of these: very cute, comfortable, work well with skirts and tights, or pants. Also, I have a wider foot and they don't look as wide as so many mary jane styles out there. Back strap is a little loose, even with a heel gripper, but not so bad you can't walk - just wish it were adjustable. I usually wear a 9 but had to go down to 8.5 here.

Absolutely and without a doubt the most comfy heels ever. I loved them so much I also bough the ankle boot version in brown. The only issue I had was that the leather was really stiff at first and my little toes hurt the first few times I wore them, but it's better now. Love these!

I love! These are my 3rd pair of Tsubo's and I love these just as much as the others. I usually wear a size 9 but learned that I have to order 1/2 smaller. The 8.5 fits perfectly. Very comfortable. Received many compliments.

This shoe feels so comfortable when you first put it on, but don't be fooled. After one hour they hurt, and after several hours I had four blisters. I bought them for a trip where I'd be walking a lot and although I spent a few days trying to break them in it was not nearly enough. However, I totally love the style. They look particularly great with pants. So although I'm happily keeping them, they were a poor choice for wearing in a situation where significant walking is involved - make no mistake, these are tight heels, not platforms or soft soled shoes.

One of the most comfortable heels I have had. Toes are not squished and balls of feet are well cushioned. Very cute and stylish, yet comfortable. The detached heel sling feels very nice, allows the shoe to stay completely on the foot during the toe off. Love the hidden platform. Toe box is nice and roomy, but still looks sleek. These are just as comfy as my Dansko Rio's. For as high as these heels are, there is no ankle wobbling and heel is very stable. Shoe runs large, so buy a 1/2 size down from your normal size.

These shoes are hot. As a hostess at an upscale restaurant, I need to look good and have shoes that are comfortable for standing / walking around in for hours. These are so. While a bit loose at the heel (for me), the strap keeps the foot in place. The soles are rubber, so non-slip, which is a necessity for wooden or wet floors. I'm not sure if they are true to size, because I'm not used to American shoe sizes (I normally wear a 39, but the conversion and consistency varies); if anything, they might be a quarter size larger than marked. Love them.

Awesome shoe! So comfortable and well made. I have gotten several compliments on them. The strap on back is a little loose but I think it allows the shoe to be comfortable. I never feel like they are going to fall off my feet, just feels more like a slide type shoe but with a heel! I love them!

These are not only cute; they are the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. I own two pair and I am about to buy a third.

Ouch! This shoe is super cute but unfortunately felt like cement blocks on my feet. While I totally appreciate the platform which balances the heel height, it does not allow for any movement; thus my foot became numb! Very sore feet after only a short period of wear. Will return to Zappos and try again.
