Great for the Rink! I really liked this skate! I ordered a size smaller in the Men's boot. My shoe size is between an 8 1/2 and a 9 women's. I ordered a 7 in men's. I would suggest wearing a thick sock and make sure it comes up midcalf to protect the back of your leg! The high boot kind of rubs there. All in all the skate are wonderful!! Adjust wheels to your experience in skating and roll away! I skated for 3 to 4 hours and really had a great time. There's nothing like owning your own skates. This is a great investment!

I like the skate very well - I like the skates very well. The fit was good but the bearings were very rusted so had to buy new ones and the wheels were too soft but beside that it was a great product.

Nice - The skates came to my door very quick! The only mod that was needed was checking the tightness of the wheel nuts and adjusting the trucks. I took them to my local skating rink and they made the comment these skates were very nicely made. He made the adjustments for me and away I went! The skates will take some time to break in but watch out....they roll easier than rink skates! They also run large and wide.

I bought these skates when I started going to the rink a few times a year. I' am a women's 7½ shoe, and I bought the men's 5. I used them straight out of the box and they totally met my needs, no problem. However, when I tried to use them outside I found that doing so was extremely difficult on the old asphalt. These are probably the only skates that you will find at this price that come with nice aluminum plates, double action trucks or a leather boot. I like the extra ankle support of the high boot, but if I decided to go the derby route, I could switch out to a speed boot. These are a good value!

My Daughter luvs the skates!!!!! Zappos prices was by far the most inexpensive prices for these Chicago Precision skates. I searched about 5 different stores. They were a Christmas gift for my thirteen year old Daughter. She loves them; the fit was perfect and great for the skating rink.

I am happily surprised. I was a rink rat in the mid-late 60's. I needed some low impact exercise so relearning to roller skate. these are really nice skates. They have pretty soft wheels and ABEC 3 680zz bearings. All I will ever need. They arrived a day earlier than estimated delivery date. I have skated four times so far. After 50 years relearning is slow but fun process. I wish I had these 50 years ago. They are all a recreational skater will need except maybe harder wheels if skating on a really grippy floor. I am looking forward to my next trip to roller rink. Unless you are a pro, these are great.

The skates are great. They work well. I ordered mine first. I liked them so much I ordered my son a pair too - a 9 and a 10 to make sure I got the right size. My husband found that I had the 10 so he tried them on and they fit him. And now we are all skating every week with our son.

I love my skates! They are slightly too large but I am a half size so I anticipated this. The skates are comfortable and did not require any adjustments. Great choice for an intermediate skater.
