Gets the job done! These are overall a great running shoe. I ordered a 6.5 even though I generally wear a 6 in dress shoes, and they're perfect. They’re very comfortable, and not too bulky. I'm running 3 miles a couple of times a week, so I don't know how these would work for really serious runners, but they do the trick just fine for me.

A great purchase - I owned Asics Gel nimbus and I loved them. I decided to try these Gel-Oberon, based on other reviews, as they are much cheaper... They feel different, maybe with less support in the front of the foot, but they are very comfortable, they have a nice look and they are much thinner then the Nimbus. I would definitely buy them again!

Too big - These shoes came within two days of my order. I was very impressed with Zappos.com’s service. They were, however, about a half-size too big. I usually wear a 7, and that's what I ordered, but I should have ordered a 6 1/2. I didn't reorder this shoe, because I didn't like the look of them. They were a bit too bright white for me and the silver was too flashy.

Asics Gel-Oberon - I have a really high arch in my foot, and these shoes are not made for that. My shoes had to be broke in, which I’m told you do not have to do- they should be comfortable as soon as you put them on. I’m also a runner, and I’m going back to my much more expensive Asics for running. These shoes are really stiff- almost hard to bend your foot. On the other hand, I have had a lot of compliments on the look. I’m bummed that I wasn’t completely satisfied.
