I usually have a lot of trouble finding shoes as I have a narrow heel and as I have gotten older, the narrow size (8.5) in a closed shoe has gotten tight, especially at the end of the day. I decided to give this brand a try even though it is a 8.5/9 and a medium width. I couldn't be more delighted with the comfort of this shoe. It is a little loose but the strap holds my foot in and the support and comfort is great!

I have never had so many comments on a shoe before. I love them! I work in a healthcare setting and am on my feet all day. These shoes are comfortable right out of the box. They have excellent support and soft leather. I love them!

These shoes were exactly what I was looking for -- comfort, a size that fit right, and something different to wear with dresses or shorts. Not to mention that they are perfectly adorable and get admired for their cheeriness and variety from comfort shoes. I love to wear my Seibels, but no one has ever noticed them for their looks. Scala is pricey but worth it.

The leather is soft and I like the velcro closing. The arch hit at a bad place for my foot. They also look clunky. I was mainly focused on comfort but the appearance also was a factor in the decision to return. Having better luck with Taos.

These are comfortable and good for walking. They are durable. I need a Velcro or buckle strap to keep shoes from slipping off my feet (narrow ankles though not a narrow foot) and this meets this need. Has enough arch support for my flat feet. I appreciate the generally simple style but find Mary Janes juvenile-looking overall and wish there were versions of this with a more pointed toe.

I ordered this in Flower (peach)and they are unique and cute. I have never tried a multi-colored shoe like this before and found that you really need to pair it with socks and other clothes that pull out the colors. I tried with neutral colors (beige socks and shirt plus jeans) and didn't think it really worked. Overall shoes were comfortable, but not nearly as comfortable as Arcopedico LS shoes - those were first I bought from the brand. There was some cushioning and not much support. (Orthopedist recommended I wear supportive shoes, so I really take that seriously). If I had enough clothes to really showcase these shoes I think I would keep them, but buying them in neutral wouldn't be worth $150 price tag.

Very cute Mary-Janes. I like that the strap is long and seems like the velcro will hold well. I usually wear a 9.5 to 10 and tried a 40 (too small!) and a 41. The 41 just fit but snug. It didn't feel like the arch was hitting me in the right place. They are lined in leather and felt pretty good against my feet but I am returning them. I may keep them in mind for a future purchase.

These are very cute without being over the top. They have a great rounded toe, flexible, squishy sole, and best of all for me, a strap to keep it on your foot. I ended up between a 10 and an 11, and since the 11 was a bit too wide, kept the ten. Boy, do I wish there was a 10½!

These run very true to size. I wear a 7½-8 and the 38 fits perfectly. They provide nice support. Navy in this type of shoe is difficult to find. The shoe's design makes it appear really large or long so it was not for me but I would certainly give another shoe by the same brand a try!

First off, I LOVE Zappos. But I am learning that different people think different types of shoes are "very comfortable." This shoe is very firm, so if you are looking for a soft, cushy interior, this is not the shoe for you. It reminds me a lot of my Danskos, with a softer top part. I have to return these, unfortunately. I like the look and they seem very well made.

Zappos customer service was phenomenal, as always -- in this case, delivery the very next day! This was my first experience with Arcopedico. Since I had read such good things about it, I was expecting the "Scala" to be much more comfortable than it turned out to be. (The soft leather of the "Shawna" felt much better. The "Scala" had to be returned.) As for looks, the basic shoe is attractive, but the foldover strap makes for too much bulk on top of the foot and looks rather clunky. The Velcro, horrid stuff, tore up the stockings I was wearing to try on the shoes. I wish the strap were instead like what is on my favorite old pair of Mary Janes (Ecco), which offer adjustment by means of a traditional single-layer leather strap with an elastic insert on the buckle side -- much more attractive on the foot and not unkind to stockings. I hope Arcopedico will modify its design accordingly.
