Love this shoe - I haven't had a shoe this comfortable since I gave up my earth shoes back in 1979 (ex-hubby didn't like the look of them.) I took them out of the box and wore them 5 days straight, with both skirts & tights, and slacks & socks. The velcro on the strap allowed me to adjust the strap to the perfect fit. The leather at the edge of the opening did not cut in to my skin when walking. The leather is very flexible and comfortable, not stiff at all. The finish on the leather is very durable, too. I don't think I'll have to worry much about scuffs. The sole is cushy, and the style is quirky. I'll be wearing these shoes an awful lot.

After reading how comfortable these shoes were i decided to take the plunge. Unfortunately for me, my regular size was a tiny bit small and the next size up was too big. The sole was also on the thin side, comfy but thin.

These look cute on, better than the picture, a simple mary jane, and probably the most comfortable upper ever, but my feet did not agree with the bottom, so back they go.

These shoes run small, both in length and width. Also, the velcro strap seemed bulky and a little "young" for me.

I mostly love these shoes. Well-made, fit my size 8.5 feet very well. I walked to work in them the first day I wore them and had a little rubbing at the top of one heel, but feel that will improve with further wear.

I ordered these in the "Flower," which is more a yellow than a green, and they are lovely. But they're going back. The left shoe has a manufacturing glitch (there's a line of color on the front that doesn't belong there), and the right shoe buckles or bunches in front of the strap. The shoes are likely comfortable for more normal feet, but the top of the right one sits right on my ever-evolving bunion-like bone. Owie. After I get over my disappointment, I may try another pair -- I think these are so sweet for spring and summer.

This was one of the few Navy flats available. It's cute. Not as comfortable as it looks (stiff), but acceptable, and I think it will feel better over time. Cute, though. I'm happy with them. And of course Zappos rocks! Best customer service on the planet.

These are just what I was looking for: a practical, unobtrusive Mary Jane. Though some would say they are not overly stylish, their inconspicuous styling is quietly pretty, I think. I will say that the footbed was not as comfortable as I was expecting; it felt stiff and plastic-y. The toe box is boxy, as expected, and roomy. The velcro strap is nicely adjustable, falling in a good place on the arch. Overall, these are well-balanced Mary Jane's, perhaps not as springy as I would have liked, but very practical.

The problem was the strap that was attached with Velcro. It was too short and did not hold properly.

I fell in love with the floral pattern and then I realized that the "orange" color is not a problem at all to wear with EVERYTHING. The fit was perfect: width and length : 8.5M = 39. I get so many fun compliments that I knew I had to buy a "spare" pair, which just arrived. If/when the first pair wear out, then I won't cry that they are no longer available - and I will continue to have fun. I read that one person was troubled by the double velcro strap. I really do not have a problem with that, since the top and bottom layer always line up.

This shoe has moderate arch support, but I still added a Protalus insert to boost the support. Sole is *very* firm, which I like. The flowered pattern is unique and pretty, I wear it with summer pants or skirts and always get compliments wherever I wear them.

I saw these shoes for the first time when I was performing onstage with a friend - I got the brand & style from her and ordered a pair. I love the arch support, but I added an insole for extra padding and an inserted arch support. Now they are my 'go to' shoes for stage work when I don't have to wear character heels; I will also be using them for conventions when I have to look decently dressed (no sneakers) but need to be able to run around hotel convention rooms all day. Cute enough to pass and comfortable enough to live in!

My feet KNOW the instant I put on shoes, whether they are right or wrong! I put them on and wore them an hour. Today I put them on at 9am and it is nearly 5pm. They are wonderful! THe full-length velcro strap is a bit annoying, but the velcro lines up. THey are just adorable, so I will wear them for special occasions and for every day.

Cute as well as comfortable!

Soft, comfy shoe, but not as supportive as I thought it should be. I need a 20 hour day shoe--loved the softness of leather, but didn't feel supportive enough.

I bought this style in a flowered orange which goes with almost all the brightly colored or dark clothes I wear. There are colors in this not-over powering print of the shoe that work well with reds, oranges, yellows, olive green as well as most other greens. It is a comfortable, informal, easy to get on shoe (important for me with multiple hip replacements and although am very active have limited flexibility). My high arch makes many shoes without such a strap slip out while walking. This shoe holds tight, rubs a little a at inside of shoe at strap but works great with thin sock or tights. I think this style in black would be pretty grim--near institutional. But with color and design it rocks. I can wear this shoe all day, walk the dog, dance or shop 'til I drop. This shoe is never the reason for slowing down.

Just ordered my sixth pair of these Mary Janes. Recently I stepped out and tried some other shoes and returned all. I'd love to see the return of the nubuck leather and maybe a few more adventurous colors. Although the florals are great. Thank you for making good shoes.

I love them. They are the right combination of comfort and whimsy, and the leather is very soft. I would say that they run about a half size smaller than the shoes I am used to buying (Dansko & Birkenstock).

Super comfortable! This is my fourth pair of Arcopedico shoes in the Scala style. I also have two pair of Arcopedico booties, and three Arcopedico Flower. They are just the most comfortable shoes imaginable--and good-looking, too. Great for travel.

Love these shoes. Worth the high price. The straps have all the adjustment room one could want. Comfortable from the first wearing. I like the space in the toe box - doesn't pinch the tender spots on the sides of my foot. Very light shoe also.

New and Vastly Improved Scala by Arcopedico! I just received my Scala by Arcopedico in Ostrich and much to my surprise they have added additional arch support. In addition to the ample toebox and light weight, these shoes are the most comfortable shoes I own. I also ordered this shoe in black suede for a dressier look. I have the older version of this shoe in navy, black. burgundy, white, powder blue and brown. This is how I know how much Arcopedico has done to improve the arch support. When you are going for comfort and ease of packing if you travel, or just everyday comfort and classic Mary Jane styling, these are the shoes to buy!

Wonderful! I bought this shoe in black leather from Zappos and felt wonderful the first time I wore them. Love everything about these shoes but comfort most of all.

A winner! A very comfortable, yet supportive shoe. I have a flat instep and most shoes don't fit properly. This shoe has an adjustable strap, which makes all the difference. Looks good with skirts, crop pants, and jeans.

Comfortable shoe - I bought the black leather Scala version which I love. They were comfortable right from the start. Felt true to width and length and they look nice too.

Great comfort! I use these shoes for work. I am on my feet most of the day and find these shoes keep my feet from getting sore. I love the Euro sizing!
