It is extremely rare when I buy a shoe online that does not fit but this shoe does not fit at all. In addition to being too tight, it is made of a hard and very uncomfortable material. It is a beautiful show in the picture, but when you receive it, you will be disappointed. Just looking at it in my closet makes my feet hurt.

These shoes are so comfortable I can wear them all day on my feet at work, or walk long distances while traveling. I highly recommend them.

The shoes are so comfy and so soft that I can work/stand in them all day. They look classic and work perfectly now for winter. I would definitely recommend.

This is a very comfortable shoe that works well for everyday or dressier use. Since I cannot wear high heels of any kind this is a nice "stand in" for a dressier look - its simple style works with everything. This was a replacement for the exact same shoe that I wore out. I also have this in a nubuck.

At last a comfy and pretty shoe in my size. Arch support was not quite high enough...but I need a very high support and this was remedied with an insert. What I really liked was the low cut throat and the Velcro straps; both of which allow for my personal comfort. I plan to get a couple of pairs in different colors.

This is a really cute shoe. It runs quite wide but that's a good thing for me. The problem for me was that one of the straps was shorter than the other. Since my instep is very high, the shorter strap left some of the hook and loop fastener showing on the side and that looked funky.

Great shoes. Great shopping experience. My sister recommended these shoes after I admired them on her. I'm an exact size 8/39, medium width. These fit perfectly. I predict they'll be my go-to shoe: everyday, lots of walking, good construction, and go with everything. Bonus: easy on and off. Quick delivery. Good price.

Zappos.com is amazing! I checked its website when I was looking for a pair of comfortable but chic flat shoes, found a large assortment, edited this down to the most perfect black suede Mary Janes, and placed my order (which arrived the next day). The shoes are so great that I'm now going to order another pair from Zappos!

I can't describe how good they feel-like going barefoot but with support! They are cute and not clunky. I have a narrow foot and the M width fits perfectly. I have them on with a denim skirt and tights, but could easily have worn pants. I just ordered the black suede. My feet thank you.

I had a pair of these last year and my son's dog ate one so had to buy another pair! They are wonderful, supportive and cushioned in all the right places. I wear them when traveling and having to run from plane to plane. They are so comfortable and light. I am on my feet a lot and I can truly wear these all day with no problem.

These shoes are incredible -- the next best thing to wearing slippers -- supremely comfortable and enough support. I'm also delighted with the whimsical design. The velcro is a nuisance -- I'd much prefer a strap with a buckle, but I don't wear stockings very often. I think it will be okay as long as the velcro is carefully lined up so that there's no overlap.Regardless, I love them. They're the most comfortable, satisfying shoes that I've had in decades. All hail Arcopedico!

I love these shoes! They fit me perfectly and have wiggle room for my toes. I am very happy with my purchase and would buy them again, in a different color, of course! Thank you Zappos for the more than excellent customer service.

I purchased these beautiful, comfortable shoes two weeks ago. After three days I sent for a second pair in the same color. I love these shoes! They offer tremendous support and I wear them daily. I was told "if the shoe fits buy another pair!" Of course, my husband doesn't quite agree and has been calling me Imelda for years now.

I had problems finding comfortable shoes for a long time. A friend suggested that I try European shoes. I did find a store that carries European shoes. I like the Arcopedico Scala, but their exchange and return policy was not customer friendly. I decided to search online and found Zappos Shoes. The staff I talked to were all so helpful and friendly. What I like best is their 365 days return and exchange policy and free shipping both ways. After I ordered the Arcopedio Scala shoes expecting two days delivery, but it came less than 24 hours. The Arcopedio Scala shoes are very light and comfortable. The left shoe was a half size bigger than the right shoe. Returning was very easy. The next pair, both shoes fitted perfectly. I didn't find the velcro on the strap a problem. What I did is after I take off the shoe I stick both sides of the velcro of the strap together, this way it stays out of the way when I need to put it on, it doesn't snag the hose. I highly recommend these shoes and Zappos Shoes' excellent service. Thanks very much Zappos.

Well, after trying on about eight pairs of maryjanes (five Velcro strap type and one elastic) I settled on buying the Scala along with a separate pair of Naots. I wore the Acropedicos today for a full day at work, including about 1.5 hour son my feet, and I felt zero uncomfortableness, so that is great. However, they do not seem to have as heavy-duty a sole as most Naot so I am not yet sure that these Acropedicos would make a great outdoor walking shoe for, say, a long day in the city. Some other pluses: I could tighten the Velcro strap without it digging in to me at all. If you seem to have trouble with any elastic straps that you can't adjust, then the Scala may be good for you. Also I tend to have my ankle bones rub the side of shoes and that didn't happen either with these. I bought these in the navy blue--they are really a "midnight" and almost look black--but if you're wearing black pants you can see the contrast. They are and look high quality. I'm not a great fan of the rounded toe, and wouldn't mind something a bit more stylish but they have a nice slim look while still managing to have room in the toe box, and I have to go for comfort before looks.

Perfect fit and size. Lovely leather. I could walk all day in these shoes, even stopping at a lovely restaurant or meeting, never feeling as though I am wearing sneakers because of the fine leather uppers.

Fabulous shoes! Perfect fit! Roomy for my toes. Soft, flexible leather. And cute, cute, cute in the floral pattern! As a high school teacher, I am on my feet most of the day. These shoes combine great support and comfort.

I wore this shoe to hike around tombs and temples in Egypt, then polished them up and wore them to work when I got back. They are great. They are great, though another time I might buy the Shawna shoe instead since it looks like the strap falls further down the foot.

This is the most comfortable pair of shoes I have bought in quite some time. I have a somewhat wide foot so the toebox usually a problem. But the leather of this shoe has molded to my foot in no time. Very pleased with this shoe.

Perfect shoes with the velcro strap, especially for someone with 1 size 9 1/2 narrow and 1 size 8 wide feet, post surgical. Love Zappos, the best company to work with!
