Based on some reviews and also knowing how stretchy the lace-up Arcopedio knit shoes are, I ordered a smaller size than I normally wear. However, they were too small. I ordered my normal size (38, 7 1/2) and they are perfect. They feel almost like slippers with a very supportive footbed. The navy looks great with jeans.

These shoes are amazingly comfortable...just what I was searching for. I have a wide foot, narrow heel, bunions and hammer toes. Am in my late 70's. ,

These are excellent, comfortable shoes. If they get dirty, just throw them in the washer, then air dry. Note, however, that the beige doesn't come as clean as I would like. They seem to run one size too big. I usually wear a 40, but wear a 39 in these. I wear one of the other (I have beige and black) on most days. They look great with jeans and slacks. Neat looking, especially the black. Very comfortable and with very good arch support. I do a lot of walking in these, although I would not recommend them for hiking, and, like all mules, they don't work well with running.

My project team met for a week at one of the company's offices in a sub-Equatorial region. Therefore I needed some kind of slip-on shoe that would be somewhat open and cool. As much as I like sandals for knocking about the yard and the neighborhood, I didn't want anything that would require pedicure upkeep as a prerequisite for business use. So this shoe looked like it might fill the bill. The shoe tends to run just a bit large IMO. I find that I don't fit well into many size 41 shoe styles, but these are perfect. I was apprehensive about the sole and whether I would be comfortable. At this stage of my game, I'm usually wearing shoes by KyBun. That is a lot of padding compared to the sole on this shoe. But these soles delivered, both in comfort and function. They have more shock absorption than one would think to look at them. I wouldn't take a hike in the Arcopedicos, but for everyday hotel <-> office, they were completely acceptable in comfort level. These shoes needed no break-in period whatsoever. YMMV but that's a BIG win in my book. From moment 1, not a single surface twinged or annoyed. I've seen Arcopedicos before, over the last 20 or so years. I think our local JC Penney's had them back in the 90s. I'm so pleased with these, that I am kicking myself that I didn't buy them way back when. (However, I think they were marketed as Old Lady Shoes at that time, which is probably why I didn't try them... what was Meh when I was 45 is now OK...) Recommended.

It may seem odd that I'm giving these shoes a solid 5-star rating, but am returning them. I've owned these shoes in Light for years and they are incredibly comfortable, so I decided to also buy them in Black. It might just be a quirk with this one single right shoe, but there is a high spot hitting the bottom/outside of my foot. Will most likely reorder this shoe if it's ever available in navy.

I used to be a barefoot girl around the house, but now my plantar fasciitis issues cause me extreme pain when I go without support. These have been life savers. I use wear them as my slippers because they’re comfy and have great arch support.

This shoe is described as having a 1.5 inch. However, since the heel well is sunken by half an inch, the shoe in effect has a 1 inch heel. Too bad, otherwise I would have kept it.

The reviews that say that these are among the most comfortable shoes are true! I did not think that I would love these shoes but they are heavenly. I typically wear a size 9 1/2 or 10 medium shoe. My feet are on the wide side although I usually wear a medium width. Based on reviews I ordered size 40 and the fit is perfect. Th woven fabric on the top of the shoe is soft and yields easily to my foot shape. These shoes are a terrific find!

Just what I needed. Looks good. Easy to put on. Great for the airport. Conforms to my feet. Comfortable even when my feet are tired and swollen at the end of the day. Basically - it's like slippers you can wear to work.

These shoes have the support of a well made shoe yet the comfort of a bedroom slipper. I usually wear between an 8.5 and a 9 and I ordered size 39. They're perfect. I plan on ordering a pair for my mother as she has bunions. They would be perfect for her as well. Great color for khakis.

This shoe is very comfortable just like other Arcopedico shoes I've purchased. Good arch support and does not cause issues with my bunion.

I bought these to wear around the house ad slippers. They can be worn outdoors. They are very comfortable with a support sole.

My plantar fasciitis keeps me from padding around my home in bare feet, the way I've done all my life. Regular slippers don't provide any support either. Enter Zappos and this Arcopedico style of shoe that looks (to my eye) like a slipper, but has the divine arch support of a shoe. I put them on as soon as I get home every day. They have saved me from excruciating foot and leg pain.

Got bunions? Swollen feet? Corns? All problems with the usual toe boxes disappear with these shoes. And they're washable to boot. Been buying them for my Mom for years and now I've become a believer too. Yay! Arcopedico.

Lovely for lounging and good inside / outside slippers for the patio, spa, etc. Not for any serious walking. Like the styling except why isn't the lining also black (instead of such a light color)?! It's going to show wear prematurely.

I bought these after I saw a friend with them. She loves hers and although I've only worn mine a few times, I find them to be really comfortable and great to slip on. I don't think they'd be great for walking long distances, but they're very comfortable.

I've been wearing these for about 15 years. First had the pair with the larger toe area and then got these. These have a little dressier look and are so light and comfortable I wear every day. I have bilateral knee replacement and DVT and these make walking much easier. The non-slip surface is also a BIG plus. You can actually dress them up a little with a clip. On the beige ones I made a seashell clip with a clip on earring which makes them even more event friendly should you feel they are too plain. LOVE THEM. Wish they made one in a wool or warmer knit for winter, but I do wear socks with them then.
I'd also recommend:
The only other shoe I buy is the Travetime Easy Spiriit, but its more casual.

My favorite shoe. I have them in four colors. I have a lot of problems with my feet and these are my most comfortable shoe. I also have the LS style.
