These appear in all the supplied photos to look like a "simulated" sequins pattern, i.e. many cool small light spots of grays, blacks, and browns on a canvass shoe. I was sort of hoping that's what these actually were... canvass like most of my other Vans slip ons. But, they are actual delicate plastic sequins, so just be aware. Probably not as durable or robust as cloth would have been, but hey - maybe some people actually want the flashy light-reflecting sequins...I just can't seem to find a small pattern slip-on with small intricate patterns on a white background. I had such a pair several years ago, they were my absolute favs.

This pair had red or pink marker on the shoe, the previous pair has a defect on the molding at the top of the foot. I repurchased because of that, and then these had marker on them lol.

I love Vans! But these hurt for some reason run tight Love the colors but don't fit right. Should of returned before wearing for the day:(

I love the design, but I don't love the blisters. The soles feel less sturdy than my other shoes so you can't really skate in them. But for the price, they're a cute, easy slip on, that works with some extra band aids on my ankles.

Love the Velcro as I'm not loving laces anymore. But the Velcro is short so it can't adjust that much to feet width. Seemed more tight than any other vans I've purchased.

I do like the color way the feel of the velvet and the black surrounding soul. But sorry to say I had a return them. on the fit is very different than the rest of my inventory.

Every time I order Vans one shoe fits perfectly and the other shoe fits way too tight. It has happened to my husband, too. I was excited for these but will be returning

I love the look, but they are flat as a board and hurt my feet. I went to put inserts into them and they don't fit and you can't take out the original inserts

They're cute and soft, but the right's tight at the top and the back is high, making is hard to slip into. However, the left sides falling off my foot

Comfy shoes but I didn't like how the pattern was different on each shoe. Returned them

The shoes are really narrow and and straps are short of they fixed this more people would be able to wear them.

Wanted to love these,but unfortunately sizing is off.I kept returning them for a smaller size, but my heel still lifted up when walking. Cute shoe, though.

Gave me heel blisters. But they look cool. Wish they were mid tops.

Very cute but were too uncomfortable for me. I expected these to be a lot more squishy and adjustable. The suede makes these very stiff and the tongue comes up high and rubbed on my ankle. The Velcro is also pretty short so you can't loosen them very much without it looking weird. I bought these as a cute work shoe, but I couldn't justify keeping them because they were too uncomfortable for me to actually wear to work. Maybe with time they would've broken in though. I'd suggest ordering a half size up to possibly avoid the rubbing problem.

Got my original size and somehow still too small I get blisters each time I wear them and my heel/ ankle is standard for my shoe size.

I two other pairsame shoes just different color. This pair is smaller.

I bought a similar pair but with laces. They have an insole that comes out. It is much most comfortable than these are. I would not have bought these if I knew they didn't come with that same pop out cushion, it makes a big difference.

All our lives we've waited for an adult version of velcro Vans. And when mine finally arrived, there was a crease in the material of the upper interior of the right shoe's heel's collar, that the left shoe didn't have. I immediately felt heel pain in the right foot, and knew it had to be caused by this crease in the leather, but no matter what adjustments I tried to make, or additional cushions I added to try to make it more comfortable on my ankle, it just made the blistering worse. The material seems to have been stitched in a incorrect manner on just my right shoe, and not the left. Making it painful within the first few steps I take on my right heel, thus unwearable. It is a sad feeling to have waited for a lifetime for such a lovely design, only to have a received a defect, and to know the design I own are no longer offered. And therefore cannot be replaced.

I was super stoked when this shoe came out. I bought it in two different colors. The Velcro is toddler sized. Way too short. And I'm a women's 6.5, so not like I have a large foot. Disappointed to say the least.

I liked the look of this shoe so much I bought it in two different colors. I was stoked for the velcro. The velcro on both shoes are so short (might as well be toddler - sized) that they cut off circulation. And I have a fairly small foot. Size 6.5. Super disappointed

Love the shoes, but they seem like worn, have used marks. Other than that comfy.

I've purchased 17 plus pairs of vans this year, the sale items must be seconds or defects, having new brand name shoes fail in less than a month, probably 50 percent of purchases this year are already in the trash, come on these are small females wearing these to work and school, should hold up better, time to switch brands

Cute and I like how you can just wipe them off HOWEVER I own 6 pairs of vans all in the same size and I bought these in the same size but they are sooo tight. I thought I just needed to break them in but after a week of wearing them they are still tight and I now have a huge open blister on my left ankle. They are also starting to crease which isn't that big of a deal to me. Very disappointed about the tightness though and the blister
