These are comfortable, but to me they are not noticeably nicer looking than regular Tevas. If you want a sport sandal that dresses up well, I recommend the Teva Kayenta.

Great shoes, fit well and comfortable right out of the box. I bought them to take on hike up a waterfall through a stream bed, unfortunately once wet, these shoes have absolutely no traction and are so slippery they were a danger. I ended up taking them off and walking barefoot. So, they are great for dry conditions, but not for wet stoney hiking.

I read all the reviews of this sandal prior to making my purchase. After having just returned from a 2 week trip that encompassed miles and miles of walking on city streets, I can confirm what others have said: these sandals are extremely comfortable right out of the box. No break in period was needed. They fit well, are supportive, lightweight and can be worn for many hours without discomfort. In my opinion, they can be worn with pants or whatever during the day, and look feminine enough to use for dinner with a dress or skirt. The cork sole is somewhat like a Birkenstock, but has more cushion in the heel. My only suggestion for improvement would be to put a slightly thicker sole under the ball and toe section of the sandal for added cushioning.

Great shoes, have a nice spring to them. I thought that the insole would be rough and bothersome but I hardly notice it. Very comfortable.

Great pair of sandals. I own they Pretty Rugged sandals by Teva as well. They are much more comfortable for hiking and serious walking but these are great beach sandals and dry out much faster than the Ruggeds. They also look much better which is the reason I bought them; quite cute and comfy overall.

I have bought new Teva sandals every year with the same styling since 1995. Each year Teva changes them slightly. I like that I can wear these to work, hiking and in the water. I always try to get my Tevas with leather insoles. This year there were none available, so bought these. My comfort complaint is that the stitching is uncomfortable under my toes and the insole is not strictly leather. The soles are a lot lighter than those made in years previous, so I'll see how long the shoes last. I do like that the Venturas no longer have the very visual triangle connectors.

These sandals are adorable, however I had to return them. The straps close to the toes were too big, I prefer a more secure sandal. I tend to have rather narrow feet, so it\'s not surprising, my feet are hard to fit. \r\nLove the style though, from play to a little nicer looking outfits, these would work well. Sorry Teva and Zappos, I had to return them.

Not for narrow feet - These sandals seem comfortable right out of the box. They are true to size, but the width is generous so they are not for narrow feet. I have high arches so for me, these seem to have only moderate arch support. The footbed feels soft and cushy; unfortunately, the bottom of my feet can feel the stitching of the insert piece that is sewn in (I imagine that this will start to rub against my soles once I start walking around for a few hours). Only the top strap is adjustable. For my semi-wide feet, the front part is too wide and there is no adjustment. Overall, the sandals are cute and I imagine would look good with casual skirts as well. However, I just don't think they are meant for my feet. I will have to try another brand.

Shoes are cute, but there is a raised pattern on the bottom of the shoe where your foot sits. If I\'m walking fast for long distances it gives me blisters. I have really wimpy feet though (I never go barefoot, concrete is even uncomfortable for my feet), so only take this into account if you also have really sensitive feet. Otherwise they\'re cute and comfy.

I love the Ventura 2 Cork sandal right out of the box. It is my second pair, having worn another pair out. I do not like the stitching on the foot bed and would prefer that area to be more smooth and breathable, but it is a minor complaint. My only real problem with these latest Tevas is that they do not last as long as they used to--two years and they are worn out, whereas I have had some Tevas for five years and longer. So it goes. Handsome sandal. I got them in black because the color I wanted was sold out, and they look good with everything.

This shoe is really good and comfortable. Wore then on an hour walk with the dog first time and had no problems. One small complaint is that the toe strap is quite loose, but it didn't really affect me in any way. I do normally wear a narrow. I bought the green plaid, they are really cute and go with just about anything.

Northwest urban hiker - The shoe is beautiful and very comfortable. The only thing I would change is the color of the velcro. It would have a more aesthetic appearance (for those of us with a high arch) if the ankle strap appeared to be one color (it's black underneath) so there is quite a bit of black showing across the ankle.

Classic Teva Quality and Comfort - These are great sandals. I wore them right out of the box for a full day on my feet - no problem. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is the foot bed. I could do without the sewn-in leather piece. But I like this model and my old pair needed to be replaced. (I wish Teva would make their "Pretty Rugged" model just a little dressier. That's the most comfortable sandal I've ever worn.)

Attractive but not so rugged - I was looking for to replace my 10-year-old leather Tevas that I wear on the walk between my parking ramp and the office. I wanted something that didn't look too outdoorsy and would be respectable with work attire. The cork base and thin leather straps of this shoe work well for this situation. I really like these shoes, but I don't think they are nearly as durable as my old ones. The sole and the inside "lining" have already started to wear down a bit. And I don't know how well they would do in water. But they look more feminine and "dressy" so I'm happy. They are pretty flat with not much padding, so, again, I wouldn't recommend them for outdoorsy activities.

Not quite the comfort I was hoping for - I love the look of this shoe, but have to admit that it isn't as comfortable as I would hope. It is very wide across the toe which makes it a bit sloppy. It's an okay shoe for a few hours, but because of the width, I wouldn't recommend a day of walking.

Almost a five - This is my first pair of the "newer" Tevas. I order a green and what was called a Puffin red. The red is more orange. However, the comfort wins. The "buckle" s at the top has to be placed just right to prevent irritation but it does work. Nice for casual or for a bit dressier.

Nice compromise - I bought these because I was looking for a do everything sort of shoe for vacation. They do fit that bill nicely. They are comfortable to walk all day in and they are cute enough to wear with casual skirts and dresses. I do find them too wide at the front of the shoe though. The front half of my foot sort of wiggles around in the straps making them a little less comfortable than they could be.

Teva Ventura Cork 2 - Very comfortable right out of the box. Just a bit flatter then it looked in the picture. Not quite my style, but a really comfortable sandal.

Non adjustable toe strap is uncomfortable - I think this shoe looks really good, but the toe strap isn't adjustable, and it is in an awkward spot. If I walk very far, the shoes hurt my feet. If you need a shoe for looks, this is a nice looking shoe. If you plan to spend much time walking, pick another shoe.

They look cute, but sound funny - This shoe is going back for two reasons. It's comfortable, it's light, and while it's not the sexiest sandal I really just wanted something I could actually walk in, and for all of these reasons I like it. But as soon as I opened the box I saw that the stitching was coming out on the straps, which I didn't expect in a sandal this expensive. And when I was walking around the house my feet were making a weird sucking noise in the sandal, like I was stepping into something sticky and pulling my foot out again, and it got annoying pretty fast. I was originally just going to return them and get a new pair and hope for the best with the new stitching, but after the sucking noises I'm thinking of trying a different shoe.

Wow, except for one little detail. I love these shoes. They look great (I got red) and for the most part are comfortable - at least when you first put them on. The metal detail at the toes hits wrong on my left foot, which means that after a few hours, it starts to bother me. I've tried stretching the leather and am hopeful that after a few more wearings, this will no longer be an issue.

Adorable but not for me - I love the look of these sandals, and ordered them in red. Unfortunately, I had 2 problems with them. First, I have a high instep and thick ankles. The straps adjusted to my ankles, but they left an inch or so of black velcro showing. Since the main reason I wanted them was for the cute style that just didn't work for me. Also, the strap at the toe just hits the tip of my small toe and catches it when I walk. What a disappointment because I love the look of these sandals and they seem really comfortable.

Cute, comfy but needs improvements! I really like the look of these shoes, they are well made and comfortable and gave me very little problem breaking it. The arch support is good; HOWEVER, I need lots of cushion on the heel, and for the 1st week, they fit the bill. But after that (and I only weigh 136lb fully clothed!) the cork footbed seems to be compressing already!! The cork REALLY needs to be thicker otherwise, I am happy with the shoes. And they DO NOT contain that poisonous anti-microbial additive in the footbed like other Tevas.

My second pair! I had this exact sandal last year -- it is my "walking" sandal here in sunny ad often hot California. After a full season of walking in this shoe - a lot! - the cork compressed so that is why I purchased another.
