I have been eyeing this purse for several years... have it in turquoise. I finally decided to get it in brown, which is a beautiful rich chocolate brown (which I love), but to my horror the leather on the strap is a lighter brown! Totally not feeling the two tone look, had I known that I wouldn't have purchased it. So disappointed... sent it back. :( The leather is like butta!

I have been looking for a leather bag in brown and thought this one would be a good choice. When I got it, it smelled really bad...sort of fishy. I treated the leather with a protector and now after a week the smell is almost gone. Other than that the bag is nice.

Not perfect, but close. Great size and the front pockets are perfect for keys and phone. Love the silver gray color. Goes with everything. Would have preferred the zipper on the flap to be a little less conspicuous (makes it hard to use with dressier outfits). I also wish that the bag didn't collapse on itself quite so much (makes it a little more difficult to find things and set it on a table) but, overall, it's great and I'm keeping it.

Lucky Stash Bag - This is my first Lucky Brand bag, but definitely not my last, although I'll carry this one for a long, long time! The leather is a beautiful rich brown, unbelievably supple and smells wonderful. The front pockets are perfect for keys, cells and other small-get-to-quick items. The zippered pocket on the inside is great for cosmetics, pens, etc., and the bag fits nicely on my shoulder, without being too heavy. Awesome bag! Zappos is awesome too - amazing service! What a great combination!!!

I'm 24; buy all colors to choose what you like - Expensive, met needs would be ok. Whiskey color may be too red/purple. Don’t have car, walk several miles/public transportation daily. Need bag to look nice, hold lots, takes minimal space, quick access without removing. Nice treated vintage/aged leather look. Wish the large flap had several magnets for flexibility with stuffing more & vertical items in main compartment. Little pockets are 4x5in, keys in 1 and phone & 3 yr old iPod just fit in 2nd. Phone/iPod did fall out when turned upside down and shaken. Weight of items in zipper flap or main compartment will overpower the main magnet when shaken upside down. Disappointing. Chapstick, small sanitizer & bag of tissues, container of medicine, and feminine products fit in main compartment hidden zipper. Flap zipper compartment is deep but mouth is narrower than bottom, 9x6x1in hardcover book must be inserted vertically and rotated from inside and when this pocket is filled - takes space from inside of main compartment. Should have expanded the back to provide this zipper pocket more space. When wearing feels great on right shoulder, on left the zipper irritates inside of arm. <3 look, holds lot, not too heavy, but not perfect. B+ worth $$?

2nd time around - Ok, well I received my replacement only to find there was another flaw...part of the leather was coming up on the strap...but, I LOVE this bag and had to get it in the vintage brown...due to being out of stock on the navy...the brown though is great...will go with everything...and the leather smells AMAZING. Will keep this one and probably just get the leather on the strap repaired...it looks easily fixable. I LOVE ZAPPOS ...YOU ARE AMAZING AS WELL!

I've had this bag for a few years. I love how it has a lot of space without being too large. I'm a thinner build person so it is hard to find bags that have a lot of space but don't make me look like a little girl wearing grandma's beach bag. I love the look and feel of this bag, as well as the two smaller pockets (which are a great place for your phone or keys). The only downside to this bag is mine after 2.5 years is starting to fall apart. About a year ago I needed to have the strap fixed and now the back part of the bag is thinning out and the leather is wearing away. I don't even use this bag all year round, maybe only half the year? And since I am a graduate student I usually take a backpack or a tote bag to class so I maybe only use this purse 3 days a week during the half a year I use it? For not being used that much and considering I take good care of it, it isn't wearing so well. If you switch your bags out more than I do maybe it will hold up better for you. It is a really beautiful bag other than that.

Buyer beware. The zipper in the outside of the bag rubs on the inside on your arm when worn over the shoulder.

As always, Zappos was on top of service and provided delivery much sooner than expected. The only negative I have about the bag was that the leather was much thinner than I expected. For the price, I was expecting a much more generous cut. This makes the purse more susceptible to tearing and damage.

Cute bag - I LOVED THIS BAG...when I first received it...HOWEVER, it had a seam coming undone on where the handle comes together to the bag ...a seam was coming apart...really disappointing...now have to have the fear that a re-order of it may have another flaw...will give one more try...I got the navy and it was gorgeous...might have to get the brown now ...since out of navy.

I bought this bag about five weeks ago and I love it. I am retired so don't go out much to use it but today when I was sitting in a restaurant getting my cell phone out of the little pocket in the front of the bag, I discovered an 1 1/2 inch tear in the bottom of the little pocket, right at where the stitching is. It looks as though the stitching actually cut through the leather. Now I have to return it..and I don't think they have any more...very disappointed!

I was sooo excited to get this bag. I loved the look, color, feel, smell... alas, it's not the perfect fit for me. I'm sad. I thought the whole fold-over zippered "pouch" area would rock with being able to put a couple diapers and wipes (I refuse to carry a diaper bag). While that did work (I kept it on the backside of the bag, not near the zipper), the bag got all bunchy and when I put my very minimal amount of stuff in the bag itself, it felt like I was carrying around a heavy sweater that I bunched up in a ball and hung a strap from it. It didn't look good hanging off my arm. I'm so bummed....

Lucky Bag - I got the blue purse and was very happy with it for a while. After about two weeks of using the bag, it started turning an ugly color. The bag was never anywhere dirty and i took very good care of it. I was highly disappointed that the beautiful blue color turned an ugly darkish green. I was upset that I spent 180 dollars on this bag.

Love everything about this bag; however, the back rubbed to fuzz then a hole appeared. My much loved handbag didn't last 5 months.

Disappointed - After ordering 1 bag, I decided to order another one to compare because of the markings in the leather that the manufacturer say are normal w/leather. So I kept the one w/the least markings and returned the other. I loved the shade of the brown one I ordered (I forgot what they call the actual shade but it's hard to find the soft reddish brown) and the leather was very soft. The problem was after only a short time of using gently, the coloring in the leather started to separate in areas (it's hard to explain as I've never had a bag do this) and looked bad so I contacted Zappos and they discussed w/ Lucky Brand as to whether anything could be done and they said no. I was very disappointed but after spending that kind of money for a bag, it should not have worn that way and looked bad. Zappos was great and refunded my money! There are not a lot of companies that would do that. Zappos is one of a kind.
