Love this vest! So warm and stylish - this vest rocks. Wear it with jeans or wear it with your favorite sweats. I even wore it skiing. It is a must for your wardrobe!

Great looking, perfect fitting vest! Nice and warm with a heavy sweatshirt or any long-sleeved shirt underneath it. I hate wearing winter jackets, esp. since I'm in the car when I travel, and this is certainly warm enough with the right apparel underneath it. I have this in the brown color too. Plenty of room in the size L. My normal top size is a medium to large. Zappos delivery service is amazing, as usual! Ordered one day, here the next!

Love the vest, fits a little long

such a good fit, I order mine on the larger end to be more versatile.. I'm in between a med and a large and i got a large and it was perfect.

Really like this vest. Slightly big, but super comfy.

Ordered a size up, large, due to reviews but had to exchange for med. great color and style, generous fit.

This vest runs a little large and the style wasn't me so I exchanged for another North Face vest.

North Face vests seem to vary in size. I ordered two different Large ones to try out, and this one was snug and I didn't feel like I'd feel I'd have enough room with a sweatshirt underneath. The other one was way too large. I would have liked this one if it was a tad bigger. I did hate the look of the lining, which was this really ugly spattered paint print which looked classless. So both are going back for totally different reasons.

This is a "slimming" down vest, if such a thing exists but it does run small. I ordered a large and it fits just fine if I am wearing a t-shirt. I like a little more room in my down vests and this one pretty much hugs your body. Although the lining never shows, its really an ugly print. I am not sure what North Face was thinking. It is going back.

Great lightweight vest, but on the smaller size, if in doubt size up.

I love this vest, I needed a basic black vest to wear during Seattle springs, when it's chilly but not cold enough for a puffer jacket. It's very warm and it has an inside pocket which is a nice touch. The only thing I'd prefer is for it to have more flexible stitching, with more stretchiness.

I ordered this from my phone so did not notice black zipper on olive best and I'm not sure I like that. Considering returning it. Also, I love my Nuptse vests but I do think they could have a little more shape at the waist for women's style. I would like to see a better selection of solid color vests (monochrome inside and out) in colors like red, maroon, gold, green, etc.

i really love my Vest

I wanted something to wear to the Clemson Alabama game in New Orleans and this worked well with my orange top. I was warm as well during an unusual cold spell in NOLA. I appreciate North Face craftmanship and guarantee.

I'd been going back and forth on purchasing this vest for months. I wasn't sure I could justify the price for one item, but I'm so incredibly glad I did! It's true what people say - this vest is AMAZING. It is heavy, so it's definitely meant for colder days. Looks great with a flannel or long sleeve underneath for work or with a sweatshirt/quarter zip with leggings for weekend wear. I've had this vest for a little over 3 weeks and it's already a staple in my wardrobe. If you're on the fence, take the leap. You won't be sorry!

Great vest, it's very soft and light weight. Other downfeather vests and jackets has feathers poking through but this vest doesn't at all and I love that so much. I always had bad experiences with down feather jackets but you really get what you pay for and the north face really does it right. I am usually an XS but I ordered a small. I tried on the XS and it looks good unzipped but for its purpose I bought it in a small so I can layer my clothes underneath. I also bought it thinking only the letter of the North Face was gold but I didn't know there was a design on the inside. They should have displayed the design on the preview before I bought it because now I just want the all black vest instead of the gold lettering. Too much of a hassle for me to go to the store and do an exchange because the store is not close to my home and I don't have time to re-package to exchange it through the mail. I do use it everyday so it's not fair to return a used item. But overall besides the design color I would definitely buy another vest. Just a different color. Thanks north face!

Layer under my fleece hoodie.

I wear this all the time to school and ballet. I dance more than 15 hours a week and this is always a good go to warm up outfit.

It was too short and so it was puffy around the middle. The fit was it's only fault but I will have to return it because of that.

Would definitely buy another. Great quality.

Both my wife and sister now have similar vests, they are going to look very cute this winter.

I love the weight of this vest, because it is nice & warm. However, the sizing was a little off as the small was too small, but the medium was way too big.

I had the child's size of this vest from years and years ago... maybe 15 years??!? Yikes, but it lasted and it fit perfectly. The adult size is just still too big.... I'm all legs no body by the way. Thinking I should have gone for the extra small. Can't they bring this vest back in children sizes?!?!?

This vest is very warm for fall like weather in Wisconsin. It is stylish to wear with any solid color or print/plaid underneath. I hope it lasts me many years. I just wish I could've found it a little cheaper, price is high for apparel that doesn't have sleeves!
