I wear a 9 1/2 and purchased the 9. I probably could have gotten the size 8. The chocolate is more neutral than a warm rich brown. They are so comfortable and keep your feet warm. They are quick to slip on your feet especially when your driving your kids to and fro and running short errands.

I ordered from Zappos and am so pleased. They are the best. They are so polite and are here to help you with your order. These shoes are good quality.

This is my second pair of classic short in sand, my first pair was bought in 2006 and it lasted for 3 whole winters; they were the most comfortable shoes I've ever had! This year I decided to get another color and I ordered a black last month, but it had this chemical smell as some others mentioned and they were a little bit tight comparing to the pair I previously had, so I returned it and ordered the sand again and they don't have that chemical smell. So I guess it was the black dye that smells bad. And surprisingly this pair in sand was not that tight; it feels true to size as the one I had before, the pure white fleece feels silky and softer than the black dyed fleece, well, guess I just don't like the dye. Zappos provides the best service ever!

These are my first pair of Ugg boots. I needed something extra warm for those freezing cold hockey games that I have to be at every weekend. These fit the bill perfectly. I love them. As with the other reviews that I read, order a size down. I wear a size 7 and I ordered a size 6. They fit perfectly. Zappos has the best shipping and customer service that I've ever experienced online. These came in two days as does most everything that I've ever ordered from here. The returns are very quick. I can't say enough about them.

This is my 5th pair of classic Ugg boots that I have ordered. They are the most comfortable boot I have ever owned. They fit true to size. My teenager and I share the many pairs we have. Zappos is also the best place to buy them from.

I hope this doesn't gross anyone out, but it is the truth. I get up in the morning, shower, dress, and put on my favorite Ugg boots; my little short tan pair. Yes, every morning, seven days a week, believe it or not. I even wear them out to a dinner party. I dress layered, put on my Uggs and go. I have five pair of Uggs, and my granddaughter, who lives with me, is always sneaking into my closet and wearing my Uggs to school, but she knows not to take my short tan ones. A very true story, 66 years old and in love with my Uggs.

Real Ugg never disappoints! This is my second pair, and I really love this! I cannot think of winter without my Ugg; I love the color, sand. And the height is not that short as I worried, just about good! I marked the size and width larger/wider than the size, but I think that's the beauty of Ugg boots. I really love this! And, of course, Zappos' customer service was awesome! The call center rep., the shipping, everything went very smooth and professional!

I received great boots and great service from Zappos! I finally treated myself to a pair of Ugg boots. My daughters always had the real Uggs, but mom of course, would buy something else. You can't go wrong with these, whether you buy the tall or short. The only thing about sizing, I sized down to a 7 and they were tight on me. I had to return them for my true size 8. Of course, Zappos offered fast return service! I received my replacement before they even received their return pair. Thank you Zappos!

Got these boot just before we had a cold spell. Very warm and immediately comfy. They run really big. I wear a 6.5 so ordered a 7, but was so big I had to exchange for a 6. Those a great. I love them!

Ugg Classic Short black boots are the ultimate everyday boot to wear in Tallahassee's winter climate. As comfortable as slippers, they feel great on my feet all day in my gallery. I wear them with dresses and my feet are never cold.

I bought a pair of Classic Shorts in gray for my mom & got myself the Classic Talls in black. We both love them! Super comfy and keep your feet warm & toasty! Definitely order a size down from your regular size. Everyone should get a pair!

I made my cousin's 14th birthday special by purchasing these Uggs for her. She loves them. She loves how comfortable they are, how warm they are, and the fact that they are real Uggs! I normally wear size 9 but ordered 8 after reading the recommendation that you should order a size down. Size 8 wasn\'t comfortable so I returned it for a 9 which I\'m really happy with.\r\nCustomer service was simply amazing & delivery was super fast. I got the size 9 the very next day even before the size 8 was returned. You have by far some of the the best customer service reps. Keep up the good work Zappos!

These are so cozy when worn with bare feet, the best. Zappos shipping is amazing. We live in a border town so I ship to my US mail box and they arrived the next day. Great boot, great service.

Got a pair of Ugg classic short for me and a pair for my sister. I wasn't sure if they would be worth the cost, but Zappos makes it so easy to try something new. We both rave about them. Comfy on a wide foot, surprisingly comfortable arch support after a long day, and they look great! I got the Pacific and she got the chocolate. They are fantastic! We wear an 8 usually, but the advice for this style is to size down. For us, the 7 in the Ugg boot fits well.

The fit was perfect and the condition was excellent. It was true to the short boot I had before, one size smaller than your regular shoe size.

Love them in chocolate. Must have item for winter. I bought a pair in brown two weeks ago. I visited my mom over Thanksgiving; she wanted them so badly, I gave them to her and wore my flipflops home. I ordered another pair, and of course, Zappos delivered them the next day. I bought another pair in Bailey Button style for my mother-in-law for her birthday. I'm sure she'll enjoy them too.
