I have worn these shoes with casual attire for probably four years and have gone through about a pair a year which is great since I wear them so much. I recently was trying to find a pair of trade show shoes that were dressy enough for suits and were comfortable for lots of walking and standing. After trying Ecco's and Johnston & Murphy, both of which are great brands, without much success, my wife suggested I try these Cole Haan's. So I bought and brand new pair and it turns out this was an incredible idea. These shoes are perfect. I walked over 23,000 steps yesterday (roughly 8 miles I think) and these shoes were awesome. They are, without question, the best "show shoes" I've ever had in my 12 year trade show career. I like them so much that I will soon be buying the black pair for next show.

I have these in another color and liked them so well, I ordered them in black. My foot is on the narrow side so it's great to find loafers to fit.

This is my husband's second pair of these in 5 years. He really likes them in spite of the fact that that they developed holes on the toes that cannot be repaired because they in the middle of the leather. It is just the nature of a driving moccasin. I ordered this second pair in the same size as his last but they seemed tight so I exchanged them for a half size larger and he is going with that.

I love these loafers. They look great and the quality is excellent. The only reason I'm giving the comfort 4 stars is because they took a little bit of a breaking-in period. I'm a true size 11, owned loafers from other brands and normally do not wear socks with these types of shoes. After some blisters the first 2-3 times wearing these-they broke in extremely well and are the most comfortable loafers I've owned. Overall, these are excellent shoes.

Well constructed with good gripping soles even in wet conditions, these shoes are a great around the house slipper that also could go to a party.

Great looking shoes. They go well with funky, colorful socks and jeans. They're quite comfortable, but then again I have custom insoles that I use with great arch support. They fit well, just get the right size for your feet.

Ordered a half size small like I usually do with dress shoes. These fit perfectly and I have 2 pair, one brown and one black. I highly recommend them.

I love these shoes. They run a little smaller than other Cole Haan shoes that I own. I have been wearing them almost daily in an urban environment for the past month or so, including in the rain twice. They are still in great shape with minor discoloring/scratches on the toe.

This is my second pair. I wore my first pair until holes appeared in the toes. These shoes are deifintley the most comfortable shoes I own. I wear them as a dressy casual and they also look good with shorts on. As I wear these out, I will probably get another pair exactly the same! Zappos customer service was excellent. Upon returning a pair of shoes similar in style, they price matched another online offer, so I could get what I know I love. Thank you!

This is a nicely constructed show. Leather takes some time to break in. These run very narrow. I have a narrow foot and required a wide.

Zappos has the best customer service around. These shoes were too small for me even though I ordered my size. It was quickly replaced with a half size larger, fits perfectly!

These shoes are great! They are durable and fashionable. I had a pair of these once before and they lasted me 6-7 years. Great shoes!

I have typically been a Cole Haan buyer over he years as I find their products to be durable and have a good fit for me. This is a comfortable, stylish shoe - recommended!

Great pair of shoes, can be worn casually or in business casual situations. These shoes were a little tight when I first put them on but the leather relaxed nicely creating the perfect fit. If you are looking for a great pair of loafers that can be worn with many different outfits, then the Howland Penny is certainly the shoe for you. As I have said many times before, Zappos is the best in the industry.

Very elegant driving shoe. Leather is good quality and has held up well. I've received several compliments on these since I purchased them.

Great shoes, but had to order a 1/2 size longer. These ran short and narrow. Up a half size worked perfectly. because the width increased, as well.

Excellent quality, great fitting, super comfortable, dressy/casual shoe! Unlike a similar brand of this same shoe, these run true to size. I can wholeheartedly recommend this shoe to anyone considering it!

Bought these for my 16 year old son to wear as a second option instead of his Sperry's. He loves them and they look great!

Very tight at first and hard to walk in. Then after about 4 days they loosen up and mold to your feet. After they mold to your feet, they will be extremely comfortable.

I got these shoes for my 14 year old son for the second time. They are classic loafers that can go dressy with a sport coat and tie, or more casual as well. He says they are very comfortable. They run try to size.

I was specially pleased I receive the shoe the next day.the shoe looks a bit old school. However is super comfortable and true to size I have worn it now for a few weeks and it does stretch out quite a bit. Overall great fit and feel.

Awesome shoe, a bit shiny but expect it will dull into a nice patina with wear. Beware, these run a size small and are narrow, so if you normally wear a 10.5, get an 11W. Looking forward to wearing these in!

My husband totally loves these shoes, but we did have to go up half a size because they do run a bit more narrow than Cole Haans other wide shoes. They are very stylish, comfortable, and great for work and nights on the town.
