Cole Hans are known for running narrow, so I guess I should not have been surprised to find that the wide width was also quite narrow. Unfortunately for me, the wide fit more like a typical normal width shoe but was not wide enough to accommodate my foot.

Hubby didn't like the sole on this shoe. He rolled his foot twice, just walking around. Nice looking shoe though.

I previously submitted a review of this shoe for the dark brown color. This review is for the saddle tan color. The reason I am submitting a second review for a different color is because it changes my comfort rating substantially when you change to the saddle tan version. It is a much stiffer leather and not nearly as comfortable. There would be a much longer break in time for the saddle tan version but I chose to send them back rather than endure that plus I already have a pair of shoes very similar to this color so I chose to only keep the dark brown version since I did not have a loafer/moc shoe this color and they were much more comfortable.

Good looking, but a bit "thin" and unimpressive. My guess is they will wear quickly, but we'll see.

Stylish shoes but took a bit to break in. My only regret is that they failed to hold up and the leather began to tear after a few months of heavy use and the leather has not looked the same.

This shoe looked great when i opened the box but when i tried to put it on my feet, it was a no go. I couldn't even get the shoe on. I ordered a 13E and it felt like i was trying to put on a baby shoe because it was soo tight around the middle of my feet, i couldn't even get my heel in the shoe.

I bought these in the Cole Haan store to wear in a tropical wedding 5 years ago and I don't know if I got a lemon pair, but I rarely wear them because they refuse to break in and are very stiff and uncomfortable. If I don't wear socks I get blisters and I never get blisters from shoes, socks or no socks. I've worn them countless times and they show no sign of giving in. Bummer because they're pretty sharp looking.

I am surprised by the lack of quality. These are great looking shoes and very comfortable. However, on the back there are these little silver medallions. One fell off the second day my husband wore the shoes. Luckily, we heard it fall off and picked up the medallion and later super glued it back on. A week later my husband was walking in front of me and I noticed the other medallion was missing. I guess we should have reinforced that one too. He feels like the toe is already starting to wear down on the front bottoms, after less than a month with the shoes. They are nice shoes, but not for the price.

Wonderful looking shoe, but since there was no rubber guard in the front I quickly scuffed up the front and now (after 6 months of daily use) it is about to wear through. I am sure it is a problem in how I walk, but now I know to only buy shoes with a rubber guard on the front. It is a shame since the shoes are very comfortable and they look great.

Pretty much true to size, a little tight at first, but then again, most slip-on loafer style shoes are so they don't act like fancy flip flops! However, after a few days of wear they break in and fit perfect. I literally ran these shoes into the ground wearing them almost every day for at least part of the day for almost two years... Once they finally wore out, I looked for something new to replace them and almost went with a pair of very similar Allen Edmonds, but in the end, I couldn't force myself into spending three times as much, so I went ahead and bought another pair of these! Who knows, maybe in two years I'll spend the big bucks on the AEs, but I'll probably just get another pair of these since they are timeless and wear like iron!

These were for my husband. He loved everything about them and wore them the very next day with socks to insure they didn’t rub. He wore them again sans socks the next day. He really likes these shoes.

For decades I used size 8-1/2 shoes from Cole Haan. Then two years ago I needed size 9 and now I need size 9-1/2. So are my feet growing (I'm over 65) or is Cole Haan making their shoes smaller to save leather? I'm not really sure but I would find it surprising that my feet have suddenly enlarged. I love the quality of their shoes, although lately they seem to be making fewer styles I'm willing to wear.

The fit is good and very comfortable with cushioned footbed.

They are true to size. Plus, they feel very comfortable.

PERFECT! Ive had this same shoe in the brown and in the black multiple times. I will continue to buy this shoe year after year as long as I can find them.

The shoes were really beautiful, but my son's foot grew overnight, so we need to exchange for a larger size. The size seemed accurate because his other shoes of the same size are now too small.

Great, comfortable shoe. They fit a bit more snug than I usually buy, but with the shape of the shoe it's perfect.

I've worn these shoes for several years now and they hold up very well. Also very comfortable and have a stylish look. Highly recommend.

Ill never buy a different shoe. I literally buy these and change every 3-4 months. best shoe ever!!!

Love this shoe. I buy one every 3 months or so. Zappos always fast and dependable.
