Runs a little long and narrow. Reordering 1/2 size smaller and a wide

I purchased these shoes in 2012 and have worn them consistently for the past 5 years. They have held up very well. The toe of the shoe wears down with use but I have been able to preserve with polishing. The only criticism I have is that they are very narrow fitting shoes. I have a narrow foot and the medium width size of these shoes were uncomfortable the first 20 or so times that I wore them. Eventually they wore in and fit my feet better, but the distal and medial end of the shoes took the shape of my inner foot as if I had a bunion, which I do not. I have enjoyed these shoes so much that I will likely purchase another pair in the near future; howerver I plan to try the wide fit this time.

Very shocked at a Cole Haan product that doesn't feel soft and comfortable like all other Cole Haans. This shoe is very narrow tight on the toes hurts quite a bit very small in width as well, the leather seems very tough, wish it were more softer!

Shoes look really good but don't provide very much support, especially in a wide. The rubber tread running along the bottom of the shoe is quite thin along the midfoot and is sufficient in a regular width, but puts too much pressure on the middle of your foot in a wide. I'm returning mine because they arrived looking worn and I wasn't impressed with the comfort. They are very sharp looking shoes however.

These are great shoes, they are very comfortable! A word of caution, the nubs on the rear of the shoe tend to hang on certain types of fabric which can take out the hem of my slacks.

The size was great, great leather, color, craftsmanship, but the somehow narrow front made it impossible for my feet to feel comfortable inside.

This is a simple, but yet terrific shoe. It can be worn with slacks as well as blu jeans. It is perfect for all occasions, and is a very comfortable straight out the box. The color is sublime and the shoe does not attract scratches, so it should ware well. The quality is great and I look forward to purchasing this product in other colors.Cole Haan rocks.

I have these in all colors. They're comfortable, they look good with everything. Run true to size. They are slippers and do not have much support!

I got a pair of these 2 summers ago because I loved them on a friend. They looked great coming out of the box, but felt a little narrow. Since I wasn't planning to wear them with socks, I thought they'd be ok and would stretch out some. They did not stretch, and my feet would hurt at the end of the day. Definitely buy a size wider than you usually wear. I have recently bought my second pair in Wide, and they are much better. Length is true to size. I know from my last pair that the sides around the toe will scuff on pavement and the toe can curl up like an elf shoe, but I hope the better width will not curl as much. It hasn't yet. I do recommend these. Heck, I've bought 2 pair now.

I am very happy with this purchase. A comfortable and stylish pair of driver-style loafers for casual office and weekend wear. As others have noted, the leather on the bottom of the toe area is not well protected by any sole material and therefore appears to be aging prematurely. For that reason, I would not use these for walking the city streets much. The shoes are comfortable and the leather is of reasonable quality for the modest price.

The shoes are very comfortable and stylish. I ordered these after I wore out my first pair. Cole Haan doesn't make this style anymore but thankfully Zappos had them! The best part: they were delivered the next business day. If I have one knock on the shoes, it's durability. The previous pair I owned blew out in the toes after less than a year of daily wear.

These are very narrow, I had to send them back for a wide even though I have never worn a wide in my life. Also the leather was stiff starting out, not exactly what I was expecting with Cole Haan leather shoes but, after about a month of wearing they really are softening up.

The first time I wore these shoes out, a friend remarked how stylish they were. These shoes are a classic yet simple accompaniment to almost any occasion. They do run on the narrow side.

Look terrific. Good workmanship. Smells like Corinthian leather. Unfortunately, although marked as a 14W, they felt and "looked" like a 15M. Too tight in the width and too long in the length.

Nice shoe. Comfortable and attractive. The only reason I did not give these a 5 is due to the fact that the leather is a bit shiny for my taste. But they always get compliments.

Good shoes. A bit narrow. I bought a regular 11, which always fit me comfortably, this ones I would go a size wider.

I like these but not as much as my Tucker Venetians. They look maybe nicer although more casual but they are smaller and narrower.

For a pair of loafers they are fairly comfortable although not the most comfortable Cole Haans I've owned. They were a little snug at first and I was worried I should have ordered a larger size although after a few weeks they have loosed up and now fit perfect. The all black was a little plain until I put a nickle in them to match my belt.

Comfortable for short term wear. Their Nike soles are better for all-day use. My feet start to hurt after a long time in these.

Driver's are meant to be comfortable if your sitting or standing still, so plan on any extended treks into the urban landscape, or your dogs will be barking. This shoe has a classic Italian style that will dress up any casual outfit. Prepare for compliments.

A comfortable shoe with good looks. Another review mentioned losing the decorative stud on the back; the same thing happened to mine.

When doing a search for black loafers, this shoe popped up. I instantly fell in love. I was looking for a dressy-er black, summer loafer. Also, I am always a size 8...when the shoes arrived, I was confused! They're brown and I had to cram my petite foot into what said a size "8". I love the shoes, now, after having them professionally stretched. However, I'm still in search of a great black loafer.

Very sharp looking shoe, perfect for a casual purposes or business. Extremely comfortable and excellent quality you'd expect from Cole Haan. Shoe was a little narrower than expected (had to exchange for a 1/2 size up) but I'm very, very happy with this purchase!

Very cool looking shoes. The fit is a little tight, but I'm certain they'll stretch with wear. Also, a night walking the sidewalks of New York yielded significant wear on the leather on the underside of the toes. Nothing noticeable looking down, though. Very nice leather lining will make them nice for summer sockless wear.

Great look and good feel but I do caution, if you have a wide foot and order the wide version, it still may be a pretty tight fit.
