These shoes are very comfortable! They are lightweight and very sturdy well built shoes using good leather and stitching. I think they are great shoes to wear on a Friday at work because they are comfortable, yet look business casual with nice slacks.

I\'m very particular to this type of casual loafer and I almost refuse to wear any other kind of kind of dress shoe. I half-heartedly purchased this GBX model (because it was cheap) to replace some severely worn out loafers. Not expecting much, the build quality of this shoe caught me totally off guard. The shoe has great looking leather and a phenomenal shape for this kind of shoe (I\'ve bought a million kinds of these - Steve Madden, Kenneth Cole, Clarks, etc.)\r\n\r\nI think the product pictures really undersell this shoe. It looks well built and feels sturdy and comfortable (although it does appear to run just a little big.) The contrast stitching doesn\'t look stupid and it wears much better with formal clothes than you would think.

Kudos to Zappos again. After searching for the right shoe, I found the GBX and Polo pair, ordered both on at 2:30pm central, and couldn't believe, they were delivered the next day by 10:00am. No extra charge.
The GBX (in black) is perfect for the casual resort, jeans, cargo shorts, etc. true to fit. And what a great price. Outstanding material feel and craftsmanship. The Polo's (in brown) look the same in design, cost more, slightly longer, but comfy. My plan was to return one pair after seeing which fit best, but after trying each, decided to keep them both. Thanks again Zappos. Will be back.

Make sure to order these shoes a half size smaller then you normally wear. Kudos Zappos, in this economic climate your commitment to customer service is outstanding. I ordered these shoes for my extremely picky and large-footed boyfriend. He was skeptical about ordering shoes online, but I have used zappos.com many, many times and have been 100% pleased every time. I placed my order on a Saturday night and they were delivered Tuesday morning. The shoes fit perfectly, are extremely comfortable and look good with jeans or dress pants. Also, they don't make his foot look clownishly long as some loafers do. I am going to order him a second pair so when these wear out he will have a back-up.

I was a bit skeptical about buying shoes this way. The shipment came in a very short time. I wear a size ten without socks and bought a ten. I was worried that they would be too tight but they were true to size and very comfortable. This type of shoe really doesn't have arch support so I would not recommend a lot of hard surface walking. It’s rather like going barefoot.
