Love this boot but think it may take a little breaking in, not much, but it's a great looking boot with great support while I do barn chores!

These boots require a little breaking in but I can tell they will be great for work. Stiff leather at top rubs a bit. Comfortable to walk in on cement floors.

I ordered these boots in a 7 1/2 and they were too narrow so I tried the next size up, 8, hoping for more room inside. They were longer but not wider. The boot is well made, sturdy, good protection for hiking and it's good looking, too. I had to send it back as I need more width and these only came in Medium.

These boots are great for riding in the arena or yard. They stay securely on your feet with the lace up and are perfect in the stirrup. However, the Crepe sole isslick to walk/hike whenout in thefield, jump off the horse in wet grass or mud and it can feel like a treadmill. Standing long periods of time on concrete they start to hurt, and finally the Crepe sole melts if you cozy next to a fire. I would only wear the Crepe soles in the arena or around the yard, not in the mountains! I love Ariat boots (own 4 pair) using them over the last 6 years, you just need to find the right boot for the job (hope this helped).

Don't use the heel pull to pull your boots on with. They pulled right out on the 2nd day wearing the boots. Shoddy workmanship for what should be an extremely durable and quality brand.

I loved this boots but bottom of the soles worn out way too quickly after 6 months. I don't want to spend more money on it. They need better soles. I used it for work. Very comfortable fit for me

Searching for boots with ankle support that don't look like hiking boots... These are heavy, work-boot sturdy, and have the cool stitching on the sides. I usually wear size 6.5-7 so I ordered these in 7 because socks and my feet are a little wide, but they are WAY too small, even with thin socks. The toe box is wide enough, but my toes are crushed into the end, and the instep is narrower than I'm used to (think figure 8 shape). I'm still trying to decide whether to return or exchange for a larger size - if I do the latter, I will post an update. NOTE TO ZAPPOS: The pair I received were also clearly a return, and no one at the company seems to have checked to see if they were repackaged properly or possibly even worn (although these weren't). I would expect this to be standard procedure.

After just 3-years the upper on both boots has separated. No warranty to cover this.

I have owned about 8 pairs of Ariats over the years, mostly riding boots, both English and Trail and I am very disappointed in this boot. It is the smallest size 7 I've ever had, is narrow across the ball of the foot and lacks the basic comfort I've grown accustomed to in Ariats. I had assumed the fit would be slightly different because they are fat baby platform but who would have guessed a thick crepe sole and round toe could be so painful? I had assumed they'd soften up a bit when worn, unfortunately they've become even more painful, wish I had returned - don't waste your money if you have average or wide width feet - their only redeeming quality is their looks, but not worth the price (my Ropers at half the price are ten times more comfortable).

Boots are sturdy and comfortable now that a shoe repair person stitched the top of the tongue to the boot on one side.First time I wore them fora couplehours only, thetonguewrinkled and dug aholein the top ofmy foot. It healed but is still sensitive. I also find the sole does not go easily into the stirrup--too thick and rubbery. Having said all that I do like these boots and I wear them regularly to ride. Now that they are repaired, my only complaint is the thickness and stickiness of the sole.

Why did you change the fit? Or maybe it's because they are no longer made in the US. Whatever it is they don't fit like they used to. My boots are about a year old, new insoles have been put in and they still hurt my feet. This is my 4th pair and they have never been so uncomfortable, and hard to break in. I work in construction and love that they last so long, and I get my moneys worth. But this new fit is the worst. Please go back to what you did before.

I love the boots. I have had my first pair for over 10 years. I just bought a new pair and have found that the design of the tongue has changed! This change has caused the boot to lose some of the ability to keep out the mud and water. I have not decided whether or not to try and use this new pair like I have the old. BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL DESIGN OF THE TONGUE!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely shredded the backs of my heels. Boots at this price point should have liners covering the stitching inside.

My recent purchase was a great diappontment. AI have been wearing these boots from the time you could purchase them in 3 colors. The current pair are so poory made that they dumped my foot to the inside so it felt like I was walking on my insteps. Looking at them from above you could see that the portioin of the boot where you lace them was shifted entirely to the inside of the boot. So much so, even the kiltie was off center. Sad - I have relied on these boots for years - great after knee replacements and they look good with jeans or slacks.

I ordered a half size bigger so I could put a comfortable insole but even the half size bigger is way too small. Hard and feel like plastic

Have no boots to review for the simple reason you do not make them wide enough for me. I am a 5.5 wide (width D). Verydifficult to find inanytype shoe. Sure would love tobuysome of your products though.I amsureI am not alone. And going to the "next" size up does not work.

I loved this boot when it first came out!!!! Now since they changed the style of the tounge the functionality has beenlost. I still have myfirstpairof boots inthe original style. I have huntedin them, ridden inthem, hiked in them and danced in them for more than 4 years. They have lasted longer than the newer style pairs I have had to toss out. The elastic just does not hold up to the daily horse activities. Go back to the original style of ProBaby Lace Up
