Not much material to slow you down!
I run 6 times per week outdoors and it became my priority to find good knee support tights. The mesh panelings of the thighs, located behind the knees, and along the hip flexors provide extra support and make my run more energizing! These run true to size, I would recommend getting a bigger size. Again, Zappos.com - thank you, thank you very much for the incredible service!!!

Great Tights -
These tights are fabulous. The extra support definitely helps. I am training for a marathon so I am running a lot. I went through several pairs of tights by other companies and none would stay in place, they were always slipping down. There is nothing worse that constantly adjusting your clothing when you are trying to run. These stay right where they are supposed to. The added support on the knees and lower back are a welcome addition. Worth the money.

Great Running Tights -
The first time I wore these, I had a new pair of running shoes as well and I just took off. I usually run a 5k on the treadmill every other day and the last mile I ended up running 1 mph faster than my base pace. These are great! There is some muscle fatigue that I work through in the first mile though, but I think that's just my body being unaccustomed to the support. Once I warm up, it's definitely so much easier to work through the last few miles. Under Armor and other non-compression tights don't compare at all!

Same great support at 3/4 length -
I used the CW-X full length all winter nursing a runner's knee, and as the temperatures began to climb, I wanted the same support for my healing knee. Much to my delight, the CW-X 3/4 delivered!

CW-X tights -
Well worth the price. The support for joints and major muscle groups is comfortable and effective. Fit is great.

I absolutely love these tights. Ran a marathon in the longer version. I have 6 children and consequently some serious vericose veins -- these tights give me the support I need and feel great! My running partner loves them, too!!

Pain to get on, easier taking it off. A bit pricey, but worth it. Overall, I am happy I bought them.

Did you know your hamstring attaches below the knee so regular compression shorts won't do the trick? These tights have been great at keeping my muscles warm and compressed. My only gripe is how high the waist comes up. Makes it a little hard to breathe leaned over on a bike.

I'm very happy with these running tights, although I do concur with another reviewer about the price. Very spendy! I bought them to help with post-varicose vein surgery (endovenous laser treatment) as I work back up to my 15-20 miles per week. I'm not a long-distance runner, but I can see how these pants would help with fatigue. My legs feel great after a run and they help to reduce swelling of the veins. I also used them for yoga, but it's hard to move side to side due to the compression panels. Plus they really suck you in, making the rear end look mighty fine. Overall they worked well for me, but I'm not sure they're worth the price unless you log a lot of miles.

Great for distance runners -
This capri provides a lot of knee, hip and back support. There is a substantial seam up the back, so you will need to find underwear to wear under the garment (you will need underwear that is not low rise to prevent some pretty bad rubbing). I ran a half marathon in these and they prevented fatigue.

Difficult to get on just right, but they work -
Feel like a cross between a knee brace and the firmest-imaginable support hose, but nothing jiggles or goes sideways on you unexpectedly. My legs do seem to last longer during a ski day, not hesitant to take that 2:30 run down through the glades and I'm ready for 'just one more' routine in my aerobic dance class, so they get the job done.

Great support!
I got these tights in the 3/4 length because I still wanted the knee support but spring had sprung...so I needed something a little cooler for marathon training. The first time I put them on was like trying to fit into pants I wore in middle school, but these tights are meant to be just that--tight! After wearing them out on several long runs (and in a trail half marathon) I was VERY pleased with how fresh my legs still felt afterward (relatively speaking) and I just ordered another pair! Only issue was after about half a dozen wears, I got a rip along the inside thigh seam (easily fixable) but caused some insufferable chafing the last 5 miles of a 20 mile run. (So don't pull too hard on them when putting them on!)...overall, though, GREAT product and EXCELLENT support!!!

I bought received size. I'm 5'9", 150 lbs. They were way too tight. Maybe if I had a half hour a day to put these things on, but I don't. Sending back. The Skins, size L seemed to fit better, they are snug enough. I understand the compression technology, but really though, too much compression can not be a good thing.

The size information provided by Zappos via the manufacturer is really accurate. However, I will tell you that it is a wrestling match to get these running tights on, but once they are on, you won't want to take them off. The support is really outstanding. I've never worn CW-X before. Pricey brand, but worth every penny.

Comfortable, great quality, but most important, wonderful support. I use in all but the very hottest weather. As an older runner, over 60, these tights have really helped me improve my longer runs (10 miles and up), with minimal soreness and quicker recovery.
Highly recommend!

I love these compression capris! I highly recommend them for anyone running longer distances. They helped support my muscles through the run, and my recovery seemed to be better post run. The size chart recommended a small for me, but it did not work, and I ended up getting a medium which was surprising because I am 5ft tall and 125lbs. Zappos was wonderful about the exchange, as always.

I have been a treadmill runner for years and decided to get outside and train for a half marathon. Early on in my training, I noticed some weakness in my left leg and mild IT band pain. These pants have helped on both accounts. I jokingly refer to them as my bionic pants. I ordered the Large even though I fit squarely in the Medium size range. The large was difficult to get on the first time, but now I think they have stretched out a bit and the effectiveness of the pants has decreased. I'm thinking the Med would have been a better pick in the long run.

I have tried the Pro Tight and the Stabilyx Tight. The Pro Tight is made of a heavier material than the Stabilyx and does not stretch as much as the Stabilyx tight does. It is hot to wear and I would not recommend it in the summer. The sizing on this is also different. I wear a small in the Stabilyx tight; however, I had to size up to a medium in the Pro tight. I am 5'2" and weigh 144. While I could get the Pro tight on, it was just too uncomfortable to wear. Both of these tights are hard to get on, but once on, well worth the effort. They offer support in all the right places and they have drastically cut back on my chiropractor visits. I would recommend these to anyone looking for some extra support in the hips or knees. I always am looking for something less expensive, but I always come back to these. Follow the instructions for squirming into them. I have had most of my CW-X tights for over a year, and am now replacing them because I feel they have lost some of the support, not because they tore or ripped. I have run 23 miles in these with no problem.

Sizing: I am 5'4", wt 115#. I wear an x-sm in both the Stabilyx tights and capris. I cannot get the Pro Tights or the Pro 3/4 Tight on in the x-sm size. They are much more rigidly constructed around the hips and the low back, excellent support, just the give of the fabric is less. I'm going to return the capri and the tight and will probably order a small in this style.

Good... but not Great -
I had very high hopes for these tights based on reviews I'd read. Much of what I read in these other reviews is true. They are great for support and make your legs feel very good on long runs. They fit very snugly. Without sharing too much information, my only negative on these tights is the uncomfortable crotch seam. All other seams are flat except this one and it is a major annoyance to me. I'm now seeking the perfect pair of running underwear to wear under the tights!

I love these. I only wish they came up a little higher in the waist. Still love them and have several pairs of this same style.

I love these capris! They are helpful in keeping your legs from getting injured or tired when running! I use them for running dog agility! They are the best ever! They may appear to be too tight when trying them on. It is just the drawstring in the waist. Easy fix: just loosen the drawstring before putting them on! They are true to size otherwise.

Very functional and flattering! I wear these on my long, strenuous hikes and I love them! My muscles don't ache after a hard hike and my knees are fine too. Somehow I feel they help me keep my energy up as well. Unfortunately last weekend I tripped and fell on my knees which created a hole. Because the fabric is so tight, I think this one downside--they're more likely to develop holes when you fall. I'm 5'6', 132-135 lbs, and according the the chart I'm between a small and medium. The small is pretty darn tight but wearable. The medium didn't provide enough compression for me, so I sent it back.

I've had these running tights for almost a year now, and I just now come to fully appreciate their value. I've been running for about four years. I've run 42 races, all distances from 5k's to marathons. During three of these races I've worn this pair of running tights - a half marathon, a 10k, and an 8k. After all three of these races my legs felt FANTASTIC. Ok, after the half marathon maybe not quite, but much better compared to other half's where I did not wear these capris. With this in mind I will now invest in a second, lighter pair. THIS product is heavy, and lends itself better to colder days/climate. The small pocked is perfect for a key. Nothing moves. Nothing.
