Yay, I love these! I live in a place with snowy winters and often icy/snowpacked conditions, and I walk outside a fair amount of time. I picked my way through lumpy, icy sidewalks, but now I have the extra stability of YakTrax. These are very easy to take on and off, just don't wear them indoors as others have said. A friend of mine hurt herself while wearing these on smooth tile; they'll make your feet go right out from under you if you're wearing them on that! I've also heard that they tend to snap if you wear them in extremely cold temps, but that hasn't been a problem for me yet.

I live in S.W. Norway, where we get snow, then rain, which converts the snowy ways to glaciers. I swear by YakTrax...they keep me upright even in the most difficult conditions. I recommend them highly to everyone. They could save Americans thousands of dollars in medical bills!

After two falls on ice over the past several Midwest winters, one resulting in a broken elbow, I found myself cautiously shuffling along and afraid. I ordered the Yaktrax Walker after reading the reviews and it has made a tremendous difference, grabbing into the snow and ice. They aren\'t handy for short trips, as they must be removed before walking indoors, but they\'re great for prolonged outdoor activity and have given me back the confidence to walk my dog without fear of wiping out. Great product!

Outstanding value in every way. Worn daily during a winter on an iced in island on Georgian Bay. Went on easily over my snowboots. Strictly outdoors, damaging on indoor surfaces. Gave wonderfully safe footing on packed snow or a few inches of snow over ice. Tend to pull off in deeper snow more suited to snow shoes. Not so good on glare ice which demands studs or crampons. I found them on Zappos shortly before our Canada winter trip and they were the best buy of the season. Highly recommended.

Very nice. Okay, so I'm a woman and I wear a size 11 shoe in womens. I ordered these Yaktrax and they fit fine on my boots. How are they on ice? Well, so far so good and you can barely tell I'm wearing anything. How hard is it to put on? Extremely easy, thank God. Would I recommend? Yes. Nice because as long as you don't have a big heel they should fit over most shoes and you can slip them off when you get inside. About as easy to take on and off as slippers. Hope this helps.

YakTrax Walker... ...Is great! Sure wish I'd have known about these before this winter. Someone mentioned YakTrax in a customer review about shoes/boots and I decided to try them. They've (literally) saved my boney bottom when needing to walk on snow-covered ice. Great idea that I wish I had invented.

Wonderful! One of the best purchases I've made! Provides just enough traction so I can negotiate icy walkways and my down-sloping driveway and slush on sidewalks! Living in the High Desert of Southern California, snow usually happens a few times a year, but this year's recent storm four days ago left our area with much higher accumulations of powdered snow, over a layer of ice from the storm a couple of days earlier. Now, if they'd invent "YakTrax" for car tires (no, I don't have tire chains)!

Great invention! We are very pleased with the YakTrax! Very easy to put on and take off and WONDERFUL to not have to bring an extra pair of shoes to work or school! Easy to store in a ziplock in your backpack or bag! Just make sure you take them off before stepping on flooring or tile!

Great for walking on ice - I highly recommend this clever creation. I live in New England, where we've had a few severe ice storms this winter. These walkers, which fit quite easily over my Merrell slip ons and other boots, has made walking on ice and slippery snow very easy and safe. When I get to where I'm going, I can slip them off easily and put them in my briefcase. My one caution: if you buy them, don't wear them inside, particularly if you're walking on marble floors. I did so and completely wiped out--fell flat on my butt in the middle of the foyer of my office building. My derriere recovered much more quickly than my ego!

Urban YakTrax's - I am a woman of a certain age and falling in the snow is no longer just an inconvenience. This product is great. They don't add weight to the boot; they are easy on/off. They crunch into the snow and ice and ensure surefootedness. I recommend these for inveterate walkers who don't let the weather slow them down.

Yes! I bought these for my husband. He reports that they worked well on the snow and ice we had earlier in the month. They are easy to get on and off, provide good traction, and take almost no room to store.

As a result of a stroke one year ago, I have lost my balance and sure-footedness on the ice and snow. Yaktrax have returned my confidence, thus my fear of falling or slipping has diminished.

I've used YakTrax for a couple of years and feel much safer walking on ice and slick pavement with them on. They're easy to get on and off. But I wouldn't wear them inside. They can be damaging to the floor and you can slide on tile.

This product was purchased for an elderly gentleman. He found the product effective on the ice and snow. However, he wore the product to the market and almost had a disaster. The market floor became a hazard due to the metal on the product attached to the shoes. If there was a warning, he was not aware of the danger of walking on a slick surface. Please make this known to your buyers. Just a suggestion, a warning of some kind would be appropriate.

While these gave great traction for as long as they stayed on, I only had them for a few weeks before I lost them somewhere on my route home. Next time I’ll spring for the deluxe model with the toe strap.

Without a doubt the best non-slip item I have ever purchased. On snow-packed sidewalks, driveways or grass, these things grip like nothing else I've ever owned. One downside, though; do not wear them on smooth, tiled or linoleum surfaces. They are very slick on these surfaces. I simply slip them off my shoes when I get inside. I don't think I would want to go through winter without these "grippers."

Have had Yaktrax before and they work very well. Bought the walker. Am a woman who wears a size 9, 9 1/2 boot and bought the medium. Perfect for being able to stretch, etc. Think I might buy the pro for icy days.

These seem to work well at preventing slips. I did feel my feet slip a couple of times but not to the point where I was going to fall or anything. I have sensitive feet and can feel the springs but it's not so bothersome to me (which I find surprising).

They work! I walk my two dogs in the Michigan weather, 7 days a week, 5 times a day. I was so impressed with the way I am able to handle the snow and ice now, with two large dogs pulling me. Easy to slip on and off too.

My wife says these work great! So good, that she says she has to be mindful (as per warning) that she could still fall on the ice. Easily put on. Very pleased with my purchase.
